Byakuran Usotsuki LV. 9 Experience: 207/500 Hp: 140 hp remaining Cp: 9 cp remaining MHp: 15 MHP remaining Dodge Bonus: 20 Byakuran's eyes widened, looking almost innocently taken in by the girl's words. The ability to learn itself...? That was it? He supposed that she was quite correct. He did over think things... or perhaps...he hadn't considered the situation closely enough. He had been so sure that he was looking at the situation from all angles...and even though he had accounted that he might be wrong, that there was an answer that he didn't see, that had most certainly not been the answer he'd been expecting. He adapted a smile now, listening this girl...his sensei's, words. "Hn...you are a surprising person, sensei. I'll give you that." he gave a slight nod. "I...look forward to serving under you." he blinked. "In a very metaphoric, very NON literal way." he felt the inexplicable need to clarify. "What I mean is," he corrected clearly trying to hold his composure. "That I look forward to learning more from you in the future." Awareness Check: Awareness: 10+3 Roll: 14+13= 27 (Pass) Byakuran picked up on the girl's hint...when she spoke of monsters in this world...she was speaking of herself. He felt the need to say something...to say...anything really. But anything he said would have sounded hollow. A child speaking of things that they didn't understand, so he held his tongue...or, that had been his conscious decision. But for reason his mouth seemed to run away with him around this type of girl. "You are not a monster..." he said looking reminiscent, his eyes looking off to the side. "You may have a different vision of what it means to be a monster, Sensei... but..." he turned away, looking pensive. "You asked me what I saw...when you placed me under that Genjutsu....?" he clenched his fists slightly, his knuckles turning slightly white. "...I saw a Monster." he seemed almost as though he was seeing the face now, the shadow of his brother still looming over him holding their mother's head, a memory burned into his mind. "And you...you are nothing like him..." he frowned. He couldn't truly say he hated his brother...he hated the thing that made him. He hated the clan...he hated that his brother could be as he was...and still entertain anything resembling a notion such as...love. "Monster's are not able to control themselves. They were made to do evil. They cannot escape that destiny. They cannot be anything other than what they are." He looked back to her, with more of a smile. "Sensei...even if you act like a monster... I...think that you are someone who has control over themselves...so in the end, like me, you have a choice. You have a will all your own. So even if you act like a monster...you still have a choice to stop. That...is what it means to human..." he frowned. "Kyojin of the Last laugh told me that, when he visited this village 2 years ago..." he didn't even bother to mention how he had come across the rather...bizarre Missing Nin that had ended up working for his clan. He had actually known him before he'd learned he started working with the Otobe...and knew for a fact that if they believed they could control HIM, that they were even blinder than he'd thought. "I don't know if he meant that being a Human is worse than being a monster, because we choose to do evil...or if it was meant to be hopeful, that we have a chance to turn away from any path we select...but..." he seemed to snap out of his musing. "But I...choose the believe in both, I think." he gave a nod. He smiled. "So...you may be worse than a monster...but I don't you are one..." he sweat slightly. "That...was meant to be more comforting...I apologize..."

Mizuiro was spotted from a distance it seems. He wasn't surprised after the fact that he went from a very good hiding spot to a really bad one. He quickly followed Tenshi and heard the explosion not long after Tenshi had ran off. Mizuiro thought that must have been a little embarrassing. He then quickened his pace to see if he could catch up, he noticed there was some smoke from the explosion and looked around to see the white of Tenshi trying to find a hiding spot! "Hahahahaha you're too slow Tenshi! I found you already!" Mizuiro quickly fled and decided to try and use the Cloak of Invisibility to see if he coudl hide that way. He quickly hide in "plain sight" as it were.
DC 14 vs 17 + 2 Awareness 7 + 1 Stealth + 2 = 10 Cp: 60 - 1 = 59. Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique) This technique is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, making oneself appear invisible. Cp cost: 1 Dice Rolls: 1 Roll Damage: N/A Requirements: Learn in the academy. Training: 1 stage. Stage I: Stealth DC 10. Learn to hide and effectively use camouflage, utilizing your chakra to enhance the effect. Special: +2 to your Stealth check when hiding.
Training: Hide and Seek Details: Mizuiro and Tenshi have been instructed to play hide and seek. Each turn the seeker will roll 1D20 + Awareness vs 1D20 + Stealth. Both genin may use what ever jutsu they wish to aid in hiding. However there's a surprise waiting in those woods. Hidden throughout the area where the game is being played are dummy explosive tags. They don't pack much of a punch but are quite loud and will knock someone on their but. When ever you roll a 1, multiple of 3, or multiple of 5, excluding 10 & 20, (1,3,5,9,12,15, and 18 will cause an explosion) you must roll to make a reflex save (DC: 12). Failing the reflex save results in -2Hp and a -4 to your check for the turn. Keep track of all your success below. Hid: 1 Found: 1 Dodged a mine: 1(You forgot stealth roll... 椿百合子 Tsubaki Yuriko Hp: 630 / 630 Cp: 784 / 840 MHp: 780 / 780[ Music - click me] "I...look forward to serving under you." at Byakuran's words she thought nothing off it. Then he blinked... "In a very metaphoric, very NON literal way." he continued. She could see that he was clearly flustered, mind distracted by a secondary image. Slowly the pieces clicked into place for her... she put on a fake smile to hide the awkwardness that she felt but even a ninja of her caliber couldn't hide the blush. After all she was only sixteen, and somethings never change. There was something about his innocence in the matter that was different from the guys that she was used to. "What I mean is, That I look forward to learning more from you in the future." he finally finished. The moment was brief, passing quickly as an emotion that had been silent for a long time came in. "You are not a monster..." he said, telling her immediately that she had slipped, allowed herself to share her pain. Still it got Byakuran talking, no matter what she felt she had to carry out her orders and getting him talk was a good strategy for making him slip up and reveal an important fact. "You asked me what I saw...when you placed me under that Genjutsu....? ...I saw a Monster. And you...you are nothing like him..." It wasn't much to go on but he indicated that it was he, most likely someone that he knew. Still, it wasn't anything substantial. His next words, unbeknownst to him stabbed her like a knife, "Monster's are not able to control themselves. They were made to do evil. They cannot escape that destiny. They cannot be anything other than what they are.". She had done things she couldn't control, she was born with the power that did those things, she wasn't able to escape the system which wanted her power, and so... she couldn't be anything other than what she was now. Even if he had unwittingly cut her, he wasn't done yet. "Sensei...even if you act like a monster... I...think that you are someone who has control over themselves...so in the end, like me, you have a choice. You have a will all your own. So even if you act like a monster...you still have a choice to stop. That...is what it means to be human..." She thought the kid was smart, but right now she didn't feel a whole lot like him. "Kyojin of the Last laugh told me that, when he visited this village 2 years ago..." She'd have to research the name... perhaps there was a connection there. Even now, in this human moment she was still thinking about the eventuality of killing her student. What was she? "I don't know if he meant that being a Human is worse than being a monster, because we choose to do evil...or if it was meant to be hopeful, that we have a chance to turn away from any path we select...but... But I...choose the believe in both, I think. So...you may be worse than a monster...but I don't think you are one... She could see him struggle slightly with his words, That...was meant to be more comforting...I apologize..." She put on her fake smile as he finished, why? she didn't know. Maybe it was for his sake, or maybe for hers. What ever the reason she didn't want him to feel sad for her. That was her burden, to never forget what she had done. To bear the crime for the rest of her life. It was why she was still a ninja, why she hadn't quit. That was her punishment. She stretched her arms up and leaned back; speaking as she gently allowed herself to fall backwards. Maybe, just maybe she was free to change to her path. "I wonder...", was all she said out loud, Setsuko-chan?. She felt grass p***k the back of her neck as she looked up to the sky. "byakuran-kun... eat some of your ramen... you're over thinking is going to make you pass out if you don't eat" she said to him from the ground without looking at him. Her hand gently fondled the charm on her belt, as she forced herself to remember that day in the academy.

Mizuiro realized that hide and seek in the woods was really not for Tenshi, he was just so easy to spot in the dark. He was wearing white, and he could see him all the time. But Mizuiro seem to blend into the darkness quite well, which he dark clothes. He also noticed that when he did hide, he couldn't even see himself sometimes. Byakuran Usotsuki LV. 9 Experience: 207/500 Hp: 140 hp remaining Cp: 9 cp remaining MHp: 15 MHP remaining Dodge Bonus: 20 Byakuran smiled at the girl's remark. "Yes... I suppose that I should..." he looked to a nearby water clone who handed him his set aside cup of ramen, the boy going back to eating it, as his thought continued to wander. His face seemed to remember something, as he once more faded into deeper thought. The weight of the scroll was still in his coat. It was still there...the copied scroll from the library of the Water clone jutsu... ready to be handed in to his contacts, and sent off his clan.... his clan. A bitter look entered his face, despite the flavor of the noodles. "You..." he looked to of his many water clones that were still standing around, apparently content to wait there behind him like an array of soldiers "I forgot...get rid of this." he withdrew the scroll from his coat, the water clones all understanding the meaning of their original, as they once more drew their tonfa. He tossed over his shoulder towards them, and they seemed to go to work completely destroying it. He went back to work on his ramen, looking distant as he said, as though this was any explanation. "Hm...one shouldn't leave homework lying around with the Chuunin exams going on...anyone could just pick it up." He seemed rather thoughtful though, as though the action he had just executed had a deeper meaning then the mere destruction of a single scroll... as though in doing this, he had started down a path that he would not stray from. "Sensei..." he began casually. "Have you ever faced an S-class Ninja (40+)...?" He knew that she herself was most likely A-rank, as powerful as she was, but the one's that he would have to bring down in order to destroy his clan. Chishio, His brother, Hisoka, and....Orikami. All of them were easily far behind anything else that he had come in contact with. He couldn't imagine what it might be like to actually face someone such as that... when even someone like his sensei was...so strong.

Yuriko tilted her head just enough to watch him throw the scroll to the water clones. "Hm...one shouldn't leave homework lying around with the Chuunin exams going on...anyone could just pick it up." she couldn't be what his meaning was but she it didn't matter much, maybe she could piece the shreds of paper back together but whether or not it would worth it was a different question. She had a plan in mind, one that would most likely settle her side mission one way or the other. She allowed her head to fall back to it's default position while she laid on her back "Sensei... Have you ever faced an S-class Ninja...?" She thought back to her time as a Chuunin, "Once." she said, the memories of the day coming back to her. "My squad encountered an enemy unit, we killed all but one of them in a matter of minutes." she began. "That last one ran, led us to his leader. The man killed one of group without a seconds thought, and then killed his subordinate for bringing us to their camp. Two of us stayed behind and held him back while the rest of us escaped." she told him. "Even now, I would run if I met one. I still have a long way to go."

((Resting)) ((After 24 hours in real life starting now, fully recovered)) Byakuran Usotsuki LV. 9 Experience: 207/500 Hp: 140 hp remaining Cp: 9 cp remaining MHp: 15 MHP remaining Dodge Bonus: 20 Byakuran listened to the story carefully, his mind casting to each of the S-class Ninja he himself knew he would eventually have to fell. Opponents that even his Sensei would flee from... the thought was heavy upon him. It was a clear sign of just how dangerous and long his road would be...if he was to truly be able stand up to his clan...they who had spent their long years in exile preparing themselves to come back and claim revenge on their village... Orikami had changed the plan, true, he seemed to have made his goal more taking Oto under the clans wing and extending it's power, but he knew for a fact that no matter their intention, there was no way that they would allow him to go his own way. And besides... whether Orikami claimed differently or not, Byakuran knew the man's true face... he was a man of ego...not a man of principle...or at least not a man who's principles over-road his ego. Whatever he was doing, he was doing to fulfill his own ego driven ambitions. While it was true that Byakuran intended to do the same, the difference was that Byakuran didn't claim to be a leader. He had no intention of bending others into his tools... Orikami on the other hand... Byakuran seemed to relax for the most part however, the water clones dissipating back into water as he sat in a meditative pose, eating his ramen intently and merely listening to the world around him, apparently at peace until the other two...his, teammates, he supposed, returned. He guessed that if he really was going to give this turn about double agent thing a shot, and truly side with Mist, he was going to need to start considering them as such... After all, as he sat there pondering away...he was slowly evolving a plan... it would require Mist and Sound to strike an accord... an alliance...but if he managed it properly...

Slowly she propped herself using one hand, and then stood back up. "Mizuiro-kun, Tenshi-kun... your game is over!" she called out in the woods. "You can comeback now!" she finished. She wasn't sure what she would do when they came back but if they were going to leave on a mission tomorrow they would most likely need time to buy supplies. She supposed that letting them go about their own business would probably be the best course of action.
