Roch sat down. His head was pounding, and he didn't really know what to do now. He'd hit her hard, but it didn't even seem to have an impact on her. And he hated this, jack... "Riley," he muttered, running a hand over his face. "Why the hell did this happen?"

A sickening laughter pealed out from Riley, muting all of the voices until finally the fog around her reached out to all of the occupants again. No longer are there tendrils, now they are simply covered in the fog and blinded from it. You wish for voices, little bug? Riley hissed at Siddie. I will give you voices.. Quote: Riley's HP: 50AoE Damage: 15 (Done to everyone in the room at the time of attack) Effect: The room is now filled with fog, blinding everyone. Attack modifier is changed to -8! The whispers are louder, and more disturbing. The sound of wind chimes is faint, but still there. Siddie now hears maddening voices in her head for the entirety of the turn!

There was the fog once more, eating away at his body. Shun let out a cry of pain before he dispersed right then and there, only to reform a few moments later. He didn't really fell all that great though. The reaper still felt worn, and quite frankly, he probably couldn't take another attack like that before dissipating once again.
Gritting his teeth, he stared up at the abomination that was once Riley. Well. He tried to. The fog was thick in the area now, making it difficult for him to see. There were also disturbing whispers all around.
"Chikuso... We need to take her down now," he hissed before trying to see where Mitsu was, "She isn't going to stop."
Despite Sammy's threats, he made his way to try and find the insanity flayer. He managed to spot where she was in the fog. Letting out a breath, he leaped up into the air raising his daggers over his head. Once he came close, he sunk both blades into her body.
"I'm sorry Riley, but kill you, I must," he uttered before bringing his feet up and pushing himself back and away from the grey entity.

[ reforming from the famine portal room ]
Chuppi had not been ready to die, she had not been ready to fade, but everything had happened so quickly. Thackery trying to defend her, one of the hunters 'putting her out of her misery'. The tiny monster had reformed near the portal but to the horror of watching what looked like Riley take people down in a single hit. Her blood ran cold....well, colder, and she lifted her hands in front of her chest and interlocked her fingers. Just what.. . . . what was going on?
"Riley?" She wasn't sure, was that possible? This Riley was even bigger than before, Chuppi wouldn't have even come up to her foot if she got close, and she looked around to see if others were there. Something must have happened right as she was reforming for people were staggering and it was getting foggy and she was getting scared. That thing wasn't Riley, that much her small mind knew, and if it was attacking and sending students to disappate then it meant the creature needed to be taken down but she couldn't bring herself to really try. There was wind, there were voices.
Chuppi was doing her best not to cry but sometimes life just made it super hard for her.

The fog was denser than before hitting them with a new wave of pain. The screams that started to tear their way from her throat were silenced as Mitsu suddenly dissipated, her form flickering and breaking down on the spot.
A mere few feet away she began to reform, the particles of her being coming back together. She felt terrible, worse than before and worn, her body aching with no real promise of relief.
Staggering she fell to her knees, her body shaking as she tried to make sense of the fact that she was still in the same place she had been. It was like she was stuck in this battle. Was her only choice to attack and help end it?
"R...Riley..."

The fog was everywhere. Stinging. Burning. It was getting in his eyes, blinding him. This creature needed to die. Now.
Alexander was beside him, had been pulling him back. Telling him they would stay together. That was all well and good but they need to attack. There was no way to see her to attack and he knelt and scooped up a rock to chunk at her, hearing it hit. "I will stay with you."

Reiko growled. Clearly they were just wasting time and that thing that apparently used to be a student named Riley needed to go down so they could fight the real enemy, the Hunters that were surely rampaging through yet another of those secret rooms.
She moved to get a bit closer to Mitzi and Imryn, calculating, considering. She wasn't much of a fighter, but she had held her own in the first room, had taken down a Hunter.
"What should we do?" She asked the other two ghouls, her voice quiet and her face mildly alarmed.
And then the fog rolled in and she was blind and weak. She fell to her knees, feeling drained.

Noise erupted everywhere. Just as soon as Sammy got her body back it was falling apart again. The mental wave spliting her mind into fragments of noise and chaos before the world blinked out. Again she was standing in the middle of the room her FEAR reformed swaying side to side slightly as her eyes flickered back to fully lit.
"S-s**t... that's not very nice.... to do to an old friend Riley."
She frowned, "Attacking her isn't the right idea... she lashes back on that. She didn't attack me, I offered myself to her and I came back fine WE all just came back fine..." she stumbled closer to Shehk and Siddie. "We can't let them kill her; we can't attack her we just need to try something... anything but violence. It only comes back around at us."
HP: 10/40 (again XD)
Item: FEAR health kit still.

In an instant, Shehk flickered out of existence...and then back into it. She frowned, looking at her hands, half grimacing before she looked up to Riley. "Now really, Riley. Am I going to have to tell Jericho you're getting out of hand?" She didn't even want to think about messaging the dragon right then. She was going to convince herself it wasn't an option.
But she knew one thing - she did have to figure out what was best for Riley.
"We are Halloween." Shehk said firmly to Sammy. "We do not die." she answered. If there was enough FEAR in there to be Riley still, she would dissipate and reform again. If she didn't reform, it would be too late. Then again, this state. This Riley. What was the right answer?
The fog made her eyes burn and she hissed, rubbing at them. "We have to save Riley." she decided, only half passing a look to Sammy. "Just from what is uncertain. You can keep saying we need to try something, but it won't get you anywhere, Sammy. You're being too passive. Being passive doesn't help." she almost sounded irked.

" I..I don't know if you've noticed but we are not fine," Mitsu mumbled to Sammy struggling to get to her feet. She didn't want to attack Riley any more than the undead ghoul did but they obviously weren't fully healing like death often allowed. How long would it be before they had nothing to respawn with? Mitsu tried to gather her FEAR, her shadow flickering at her feet with life. She wanted to protect Shun, desperately wished for it but in the end she was too weak. Her shadow slowly sank back to what it was looking no different than it had a moment prior. It took all Mitsu could to stay on her feet instead of sinking to her knees again. Seemed her stamina was going to be put to the test. HP: 10 Using Y2 FEAR 'The Barrier': failed

Mitzi recognized the fog, as it swirled around her. She did her best to ignore the whispers in her mind, and quickly reached over to squeeze Reiko's and Imryn's hands. Reiko certainly wouldn't have run into anything like this before. "I'll be right back," she told the two other ghouls, not sure if Reiko would have the same problem Imryn did with approaching other Reapers. Because there was one person who had been able to tell her what was going on before.
The other, older students all seemed to know the giant towering before them, and as she heard one of them call her by name, it finally clicked. She'd met the mindflayer just briefly, and the idea that this was another student made her sick to her stomach. She started to jog over to Roch to ask what was happening, what she could do to help, just as the fog billowed out again.
She cried out as it chewed away at her FEAR, and she wrapped her arms around herself as though to keep it off, but it didn't help at all. She gritted her teeth, trying to fight past it to find the punk boil, but now the fog was hiding everything. She stumbled forward, slowly starting to push past the pain, and finally saw the shock of purple hair she was looking for. "Roch! Roch, what's happening?"

"We don't. But Red did. and I don't want that to happen again." The words where spoken softly, a reminder that for all the phrase was worth, it had been proven wrong.
"From Insanity, and from the others. If she dies, if she dies she might end up like Red. We can't allow that, but I tried to feed her. Maybe it wasn't enough." She frowned at Shehk getting irked at her, "And what would you have me do? I spoke to her, I've offered myself and that's the only solution I have."
She turned back towards the mega beast that was Riley and started to walk towards it. She already died twice since getting here, what would a few more times hurt? As Shehk so simply put it in theory.
They where Halloween, and they do not die.
So she marched right back up to the monster again, "How much. How much do you need, do you want."

Imryn hissed a little as the fog came rolling in, feeling it eating away at her. From what she'd gathered listening to the other students there... this used to be one of them. A Halloweener. A part of her wondered if the Hunters did this, or some other outside force... and if it was going to spread to the rest of them.
"I don't know... this damn fog, can't see a thing in it now thought. Doesn't look like there is a easy way out of here either, something needs to be done... I just have no idea what. Whatever it is now is too strong for just us to take on, and a good part of the others don't seem to want to attack it. If we can even defeat it..." she sighed, rubbing a claw over her face. This trip just kept getting better and better.

Could he take another hit? Not if she didn't pull her punches. Somehow she was hitting EVERYONE as hard as a third year could hit ONE person. "What are you doing here, Mitzi?" he demanded. "This isn't your fight." He was frustrated.
"Jackdammit, Riley, why the hell are you doing this?" he bellowed at the gigantic ghoul. He raced towards her, blindly swinging his guitar. It was only because of her size that he even managed to hit her.
