Yin reappeared at the portal in the form that he normally took at the school. He still felt sore, not well enough to go back to the fight, and as he began to examine his body for injuries he found a few interesting new things to note. He had received a gashed hole to his abdomen where he had been leaking fluids from, and that had translated to a tender area just underneath his left collarbone, nothing to be concerned about. His neck felt...odd, and there was an almost eerie sensation, as if he could still feel those daggers sliding in.
He stayed where he was and closed his eyes, trying to meditate. He needed to gather his strength so he could return.

Rikki appeared at the portal and came to with a sharp cry. It wasn't that he was still in the agony that he had been, just that the change had been so sudden, he was still processing that he was okay. He sat up slowly and groaned, putting a hand to his right shoulder. His clothes there were sticky with blood, and he remembered the gun shot. He dug his fingers in to feel for the wound, but he only felt a rough, round scar that was still slightly tender. He hissed at the discomfort and then checked the other area of his body that was soaked with his own red fluids. His left thigh had a similar round scar, though it was smaller, as if it had healed better. Well... at least he was no longer bleeding.
He looked around he first time, and was stuck between relief and panic. "Antennae! Antennae we need to get back to Danny!" He tried to get up but stumbled and landed back on his rear. He was in no shape to go anywhere.

ENTERING, NO COOLDOWN NEEDED
Shenny decided to visit death first. It was the last island she had been to, and some of familiar students should have stayed here, but mostly she was just curious: Death proved to be very interesting and mysterious place. Shenny shivered remembering Trance classes. Anyway, she'd better run!

Arynek arrived at Death Isle quick, the teleporting was so fast. The Conquest room was in the temple, where should the one in here be? Maybe in the temple, the one they attended the lesson......

Reiko came through the portal still looking rather panicky. She took a quick glance around and spotted Yin and a Reaper boil she didn't know, neither of them looking particularly healthy. Damn, so those...those...whoever they were, they were here too. And if Yin was here, so was Alex, probably. She gave Yin a quick nod, but didn't say anything, just went running out of the portal room.

Rikki was suddenly there and Yin just stared at him for a moment, trying to get his brain to work to connect all the dots. He was significantly bloodier than Yin, though there was some juices that were certainly not red that were between his flesh and clothing.
Then the boil spoke.
Yin felt as if everything was going cold. "Miss Danny...is Miss Danny alone?" He tried to get up and force himself over to the other boil, stumbling and falling somewhat awkwardly next to him until they were seated vaguely next to each other. If the boil looked he would see the angry red of fresh scars, two twin slits marring the flesh of his neck.

Mei quickly stepped through the portal. She wasn't sure if anyone else she knew was on this island but after what happened back on Conquest the ghoul knew that the other students would need help here as well!
She had briefly spotted Reiko but didn't have much of a chance before the other ghoul ran out of the portal room. To which she too followed as quickly as possible.

Wylfenne found themselves in the familiar portal and shivered. Still, there was no time for bleak thoughts - it might be possible, that their help is needed - what if here, on the Isle of Death, they were besieged by Hunters, too?

Rikki was still so tired. So tired, that his pride vanished, and he leaned against Yin for support. "Roch was there- Oh jack, Roch. He had been there at some point, but I don't remember seeing him recently. He hasn't been in here has he?" If Roch, Yin, and him were here trying to get their s**t together, he was even more fearful for his demoness.
"We have to go help her," he said with conviction, though he didn't make a move to get up. He was too sore. Too tired. He knew if he tired he'd just fall on his a** again.

Suddenly a purple-haired Reaper ghoul appeared nearby. She woke with a yelp, sitting up and grabbing at the floor as if she expected it to be moving under her. Which it had been, what seemed like just a second before.
When she found that it was not, she sat there panting for a few moments, before noticing the two boils. Her eyes went wide, and then she grinned. "Yin!" He looked... relatively okay, actually. About how she felt, but no worse.

Danny took two steps in through the portal and collapsed, but you know what? She was a live and hadn't dissipated once. So there.

Roch? Yin found himself desperately hoping that the reaper boil was safe just so that someone, anyone would be there to keep an eye on Miss Danny. And what about Alexander? He had left him, he had done that stupid thing where he did not stay around long enough to keep protecting him. What if something happened before he made it back? He was nervous, but more students kept coming, and the pressure just kept building as he waited for his bonded to be the next one.
A familiar voice caught his attention, Miss Mitzi. She was calling out to him and he lifted a hand in acknowledgement before...
Oh Great Mantis was that Miss Danny?
The fire demoness made it partway in, just a couple of steps really, and collapsed. He was already forcing himself to his feet, hobbling and staggering over to her, almost in pain to see her like that. "Miss Danny!"
Why could he not have been stronger?
He never would have had to face something like this if he had stayed with the Clan.

"Danny!" Rikki's voice was just shy of a scream. He may or may not have tried to elbow Yin out of the way, even if it was a pathetic attempt with how shitty he was feeling. He should couldn't stand the bug being the one to get to Danny first. To touch her and see if she was okay.
Rikki collapsed on his knees as soon as he was close enough to Danny to reach out. He pulled her, with some struggle, into his lap and began checking for breathing and such. "She's alive," he said in a hoarse whisper. "She's alive," he repeated, giving Yin a tense smile. His demoness was alive and she was here, and he could protect her again.
Well... maybe not yet. But he would damn well try.

Mort was tired, frustrated, and most importantly in pain; he almost wished he could have dissipated back there, how much his strength was waning now. Once more at the portal, he bent over and rested his hands on his knees, catching his breath and trying his best not to fall over; Mort could feel himself shaking from the encounter still. It was only out of habit that he somehow managed the dexterity to pull his phone out of his pocket.
So many messages, all from Belladonna. And he couldn't even muster up the energy to text back. well, coherently at least.With a snap shut of the phone, Mort found the War portal and hurried in, for the moment uncaring of the passenger in his hat, There was only one thought in his mind at this time:
Eris.

When Yin waved to her, she started trying to push herself to her feet to go join the boils. She probably ought to check on the weremantis, for Alex. But then the other ghoul appeared, and suddenly neither boil was paying her any attention anymore.
She let herself flop back onto the floor, deciding that maybe it wasn't worth getting up after all. She could just sit here and rest a bit, that actually sounded pretty good too. Without thinking, one of her hands went to test her side, where the Hunter had cut her. She looked down in surprise to find a pink scar. She'd barely had time to notice the cut before, with everything going on, and had almost forgotten about it.
