Twil shook his head. "I assure you you're fine." he chuckled. "Fathers do have a way of being over protective sometimes. Especially of daughters. It's nature's way."
He sat down next to her and watched people walk by. The night was progressing ever onward and the crowds that were so thick earlier were starting to thin as people either found other places to be, someone to go home with, or plain just went home. "Could always try sneaking you in a window. He'd probably never even know you were gone." he teased.

Gwen perked up a bit " Really, you think you can sneak me in!? That would......*she faltered* Almost be awesome. Dad has to realize that im a big girl now, not some lady to be kept in a tower. So I'll have to face him sooner or later.....But for now," *she draped her tail over his in a friendly manner* Inwardly she was shocked at how bold she was feeling but deciding to go with it. "For now I will enjoy the company!"
*With a grin and a sigh she rolled her head back* "Oh will you look there! *she pointed* A shooting star, quick, we should make a wish!"
*she screwed her face up, nose wrinkling as she thought hard about what she want, but what came out in her mind was " I wish I could see Twil again!"*

Twil chuckled and patted her hand. "Ah, I see." He leaned back and made himself comfortable. He breathed in the scents of the strip, not all of them pleasant, his nose wrinkled and he stifled a yawn. In the back of his mind he could hear his clean sheets calling to him.
He looked up as she mentioned the shooting star. He wasn't really much for wishing on stars, preferring to make his own luck. "I'd ask what you wished for but then it wouldn't come true." he stretched and covered his mouth again. "Sorry, getting late even for me, but when you're ready, m'dear." he said with a smile.

*She couldn't help but feel the butterflies come back as he patted her hand as she tried to not read too much into it despite desperately wanting to* Then she finished her wish and looked back to Twil noticing that he hadn't seemed to wish anything. She felt somewhat dissapointed and bit her lip feeling self concious.
She was holding her breath and the world started to spin again as she remembered to keep breathing deeply. Seeing him yawn she felt another spike of guilt despite his kind words* Time to face my fear I guess.
*she stood and managed not to sway and looked around momentairly to get her bearings* I think it best if we walk for a bit, I'm not quite up to flying. *she took off towards home* I....I don't know...I mean that is to say.....ugh....if you want to drop me off at the end of the block thats fine. I don't know how my Father will react.....*she trailed off uncertain*

Twil nodded and got up himself ready to steady her if she needed it. "I'm sure that everything will be fine when you get home. Although I understand that sometimes father's forget that their daughters aren't children anymore and are ready to have lives of their own. He may get angry, but it's only because he loves you." he said as they walked along moving away from the noisy strip.
"Ah the old, stop and drop. I'm familiar with that one." he didn't say more though. It seemed rude to flaunt his prowess with the other sex, and well sometimes his own in her face. She was young, and while he'd caught some of her looks, the coy blushing, she didn't need him rubbing it in her face. She was fun though, definitely someone worth doing this again with. Maybe more? Well only time would tell.
