Star blinked dumbly, "...it'd make me bad a**?" He considered this several moments looking hazy, then squinted, nodded and latched onto Jerome's arm again, fixing him with his best attempt at a serious expression. "Let's do it."

"A'ight man." Jerome nodded, showing that Star was making the right decision. He totally was after all. "S'go see Jimmy, he'll set ya up." The dark man finished casually with a light gesture and he continued walking.

Star smiled and stumbled after Jerome, looking in good spirits, "This is a great idea. I should've done this ages ago." He gasped and suddenly raised the volume of his voice, "I know just what I'm gonna get!!" He tripped and caught Jerome's arm again. "Didd-I ever tell you about the time I fought a Verizion by myself?"

"N'kiddin'" Jerome grunted in reply to his comment. About continued to ask when he wanted to get when there was another jerk on his arm. Jerome let out a startled hiss at this, but reached his arm up to grab Star by his upper arm, and help get the taller man back on his feet, removing the tugging weight on his arm. "A what?" Jerome had never heard of a Verizion before.

Star accepted Jerome's help and resumed stumbling alongside him. "Itsa legendary pokemon." He nodded, making wide gestures to help explain, "Vicious. N'I fought it without a pokemon." He leaned uncomfortably close to Jerome, "I almost died."

"Oh yea?" Jerome asked casually, arching an eyebrow but otherwise not reacting to the man's close proximity. reaching a hand up, to knock his knuckle against the other man's taller chest. "Man yer just oozin' in rep' ain't ya. Just need some ink, you'll be one mean a** banger, bro." He grinned at this. It wasn't really particularly interesting to Jerome that the guy almost died, hell most everyone he knew had been there at one point... or where there. BUT that was beside the point, Might as well have a good time, and that seemed to get this guy in a good mood, and Jerome could stand to have a good night tonight.
Jerome was clearly a little buzzed, and enjoying it, even so he was able to keep his footing surprisingly well, mostly considering his condition. If that was natural or something he was stubbornly maintaining, was uncertain. He helped the taller man along as needed though, before pausing. "A'ight man, we gatta get to the city." He told Star. "So we'll need a car. Y'wait here, I'll get it.

"M'gonna be honest I haff no idea what you jus' said.." Star mumbled in response to the mean a** banger comment. When Jerome mentioned retrieving a car the lanky roboticist gasped and grabbed the other man's arm, "Nono, I can fly us there. S'how I get everywhere. It'll be like five times as quicker.."

The dark gangster cast a glance at him when he admitted not knowing what Jerome just said. This grew a slight grin from the man, not at all surprised by it though, the way he talked was one picked up from where he lived, he didn't talk nearly as eloquently as most of the Rockets here. If anything it was a very vulgar and crude way of speaking. "S'cool, just let us deal with it."
Jerome was grabbed again, and while he didn't show it, he was starting to get a little more annoyed with the other man's clumsiness. While normally not a problem, Jerome was in a lot of ********' pain. "Man, watch it." He said in an even tone. but then moved on to the offer to fly. "Got somethin' that can fly us there then? Sounds dope to me."

Beaming, Star turned to stumble outside, "Pffff do I have somethin' that can fly us there. I am the master of flight." Master of flight maybe, but at the moment he wasn't the master of walking. He almost tripped three times on his way out the door.
Outside the sun had set. It was late evening and though the desert still clung to some of the day's warmth, the oppressive heat had passed. Once beyond the front steps Star fumbled for the proper poké ball, removed it from his belt and pressed the button. In a flash of red light a large pidgeot appeared.
Scream fanned his wings, stretching as he usually did when summoned. "Pidgeoooot."
Star smiled, "This." He jerked a thumb at the bird and looked back at Jerome, wobbling, "Iss Scream."
Scream blinked and turned an eye on his master, obviously noticing how badly Star was slurring his speech. "Pidge-" He froze suddenly, eyes wide as Star wrapped both arms around his neck, pulling him into a clumsy attempt at a hug.
"He'ss my best fren'."
After a moment of awkward staring Scream turned his eyes from Star to Jerome. "Geot...."
