Why did he keep coming here?
Visiting the Oasis was becoming a battle of wills. He would keep coming here every day until the place either killed him or he figured out why he hated it so much.
Well, okay. He did know why he hated it. But that wasn't a good enough reason. Everyone else seemed to at least tolerate it. What was the matter with him?
Overhead, the relentless buzzing of the swarm drowned out all other sound, and he sighed. Maybe he should just turn around and go back to the dorm.

He turned to leave, hands in pockets.
As he left, he found himself wandering too close to the water, and knew instantly it was a mistake. He should know better by now! Cursing as the plant wrapped its tendril around his leg, Rafe shook himself free, hissing and grumbling.
Stupid. Candlejacking. PLANTS!

She was still in agitation after today's classes, that's why she decided to calm herself, and meditate a bit near the oasis pound.
Studying the caverns on he way to the pound Shenny realized that if nothing else, the oasis is probably a good cooling agent, since it was located right above one of the entrances to the colony. Hm... may be they could even break the ceiling, and the thick oily water full flood the passage, in case of a sudden enemy attack.
Contemplating oil textures on the surface of water, Shenny wondered, if clans ever had sudden enemies attack. May be, long ago, clans could have been fighting with each other?.. Oh, Jack. Library. That's what awaits her back in Halloween.

Hmm... could it be a token again?... Did someone purposefully leave them here once? Or is it like a daily schedule: throwing tokens across the island?.. Anyway, it'd be better to take it, and get going!
