Azazel stood above everyone on the raised platform with a heavy great sword stabbed into the greying wood, his eyes closed as the wind blew back his short greying hair as the jailer brought his second born daughter up to the stand. He heard her steps and then the falling of her knees as she dropped and her knees made a hollow thump on the wood. He listened to the priest of Zedekiah as he read out the sentence "Tatiana Drosselmeyer, was thought to be wise and strong a true daughter of our Emperor and descendant of Ivirth, but her wisdom has failed her when she attempted to assassinate the Emperor. Upon the conclusion of a special council of investigation, Princess Tatiana Drosselmeyer has been found guilty of treason... Not even those of royal blood can be spared from punishment if found guilty of treason as layed out by Emperor Desmond. Princess Tatiana Drosselmeyer shall be stripped of her royal title before submitting to punishment by beheading to which after death her body shall be given a peasants burriel in the necropolis, buried along side the bastards and stillborns of the Drosselmeyer family instead of inside the royal crypt. So says the law" the priest finished "May the gods have mercy on your soul" the priest finished before stepping away. Azazel opened his eyes then and brought up the sword and in one quick block took his daughters head from her shoulders.
His shoulders stiffened as his eyes came back into the present. He had not slept well the last few days, he could not fathom that Tatiana had betrayed him as she did. He had become unhinged the last few days. Wandering around the castle, shifting between male and female form and killing all who saw, right now he seemed to have stabled enough that his ability finally stopped shifting and he seemed to be stuck in male form. Dried blood was left on his face from where his daughters blood had landed on him, drying on his shirt as well. First his eldest son and eldest daughter went and did the most monstrous thing and then his second daughter had to go behind his back and do.... almost just as bad. He felt his fingers start to curl into fists, he felt a pinch in his chest and he uncurled his fists, who knows how long she had been poisoning him. The Emperor closed his eyes again but all he saw was the sword cleaving apart his daughters neck like it was butter. He stood up and in his rage he picked up one of the large candle stands and threw it as far across the throne room as he could. He had never trusted his children, but he never thought they would go this far, far beyond simple insubordination, one had actually tried to kill him. What if he had died?! His oldest son had no heir of his own despite being well into his adult years, his second son had none, his third probably would never, his fourth was hardly even a few months old, and blast it all to the underworld if the crown passed onto one of his daughters sons, From what he knew Ursula had birthed a monster for a child and Elentiya had another week girl that would probably grow into another treacherous woman with all that Llewellyn blood in her veins.
The Emperor felt his blood begin to boil again and he felt his heart thump hard in his chest and felt bile rise in his throat that he spat out as he stared off at the doors to the throne room in an attempt to calm down, before his untimely death the physician had told him he needed to stay as calm as possible for a few months so his heart and body could recover, but he didn't want to be calm, his daughters betrayal and reminded him of another b***h that needed to be delt with, that Lionis wh*re that could kick his entire family off the edge of the world if she ever showed her face.... Evelyn... A vein visibly pulsed in his forehead as his eyes narrowed, but then he took a deep breath through his nose, his nostrils flaring as he tried to regulate his breathing.
Ambrosia had been walking the halls with her children and a nursemaid. Elric in her arms and Eliana trying hard to keep up as she walked beside her mom. She was growing so fast already. She had heard her husband had finally stopped wondering and could be found in the throne room. She was worried sick for him, his daughters betrayal had come as a surprise got them both but his having to execute her played hard on him. Ambrosia hoped that in seeing her and their children might bring him slight comfort. If need be she will send them with the nursemaid and stay by his side alone to make sure he was ok.
As they neared the doors she shifted Elric slightly, and letting go of Eliana's hand , knocked on the door lightly before opening it and slipping in. "Azazel? It's me. I have Eliana and Elric with. If this is a bad time I can send the children back with- Eliana no!" She exclaimed, but before she could finish the little year old slipped in the doors and began her stumbling walk toward her daddy, her arms stretched out in an attempt to balance herself and also reach out towards her father. Ambrosia ran in after her, Elric on her hip. She managed to reach her just as Eliana got to the first step leading up to the throne and was attempting to climb it. She laughed lightly before picking up her daughter as well. Then she looked up at her husband, worry clear in her eyes. Old blood still rested on his face and clothes. The nursemaid finally made it over and Ambrosia handed her the squirming Eliana.
Ambrosia's eyes returned to her husband, love and worry very clear in them. She went to reach out to touch his face, but hesitated. He probably wouldn't want her t touch his face right now. She settled for reaching for his hand. "Azazel, I'm here. Speak and I will listen." Elric looked at his father with attentive eyes but remained silent.

Azazel looked up at his wife of one year but couldn't bring himself to smile,he watched as his daughter waddled toward him and landed on the step. He couldn't bring himself to remember her name for a moment but then it came to him as he saw the nursemaid pick her up. He let his eyes follow his daughter for a moment before he looked back at his Empress "When is it that Zedekiah died?" he whispered softly about the god of justice as he looked at his wife, holding her hand and squeezing it tightly, enough so that her fingers began to turn white "For a year my daughter poisoned me" he said and he looked at the ground "I may not be able to give you any more children for a while...I hope Eliana and Elric are enough for now" he whispered softly before closing his eyes and leaning back against the throne once more "My eldest son was found dead this morning....It was the final thing that brought me back, I felt like I was wandering for so long inside my own head." he whispered as he let go of his wives hand "I cant help but wonder if Tatiana was the one that killed Valter as well..." he said, frowning, and for once he actually felt concern for his two younger sons, Alistair and Gerath.

Princess Esther Drosselmyer of Lionis
The toll of death was a heavy price to pay to absolutely necessary to command obedience. Esther had watched the execution of her sister Tatiana and made sure not to blink or look away as her father carried out the deed which had to be done. It was a grim but absolute reminder of her family's power and right to rule as well as a warning to the masses of what happens when you brake the law. Honestly, Esther was slightly happy to see her sister Tatiana go. It was one less rival for the throne and one less potential danger she would have to deal with later. Still...to see the headless body of a person she grew up with, practicing fighting and giggling over which knight they thought the most handsome of the castle...it was still enough to bring silent tears to the proud princess who his her sorrow from sight and quickly rushed away once the execution was done.
Though a part of her hated her father there was always the love she had for him instilled in her heart. As a daughter of the Drosselmeyer name she had to be strong and know what was done was for the best, yet she also had to be strong enough to let her father know that as well. Esther knew that the one who was most wounded by this was her father, for how could a man kill something he had put so much time into and leave it to waste and rot without a single thought of the efforts they sacrificed to for that one thing. Tatiana may had been a traitor but she was also his daughter; A portion of himself he had brought to life and tried raising into the proud Drosselmeyer woman he wanted her to be. With only a few loud knock Princess Esther, dressed as a princess should be, tried to gain her father's attention from behind a door and hiding her slightly red eyes from his sight; for now.
"My emperor, it's me...may I come in and see you, daddy?" Though she wanted to act like a strong princess at the moment she couldn't and thus wanted to see Azazel not as a diplomatic figure but as his daughter of his flesh and of his blood.
Ambrosia looked up at her husband with eyes full of worry and sorrow. She handed Elric to the nursemaid and made a motion for her to take the children back to their room. She then turned back to her husband and stroked his face gently with her free hand. At his words of how his daughter had poisoned him for a year her hand stilled and her eyes dropped, her fingers trembling slightly. "For a year I misinterpreted your symptoms and for a year you got sicker because my thoughts were filled with other things instead of my most important job of being your wife and seeing to your health. My knowledge of herbs and their effects should've let me notice quicker. I failed you in that. I only hope you can forgive me." She allowed her self the softest of smiles as he made mention of hoping that their two children were enough for now. "Our children make me plenty happy. Should we end up making more I will love them all the same amount as I already do our two. And I will love you all the same my love. My love for you will not change even if you cannot provide me with any more children. I fell in love with you, for who you are. Not because you can provide me with children." Seeing as they were alone now she sat down in his lap so that she may be closer to him and hopefully bring him some comfort from her touch. As he spoke again, her heart sunk, another death of a child,. Worry grew on her face, not just for her husband now, but for the safety of her children and for Alistair., who of her step children showed great knowledge and care for ruling the kingdom. She looked up at her husband and kissed his cheek. "There is no use wondering about it now. All we can do is be sure we pay better attention and protect our children from themselves as well as others. And continue to rule the kingdoms as best we can." Hearing her step daughter, she slowly began to get off his lap and went to lean on the arm of his throne and rested her hand on his shoulder and waited for his word on whether he wanted Esther around him right now while he was grieving.

Azazel smiled softly at his wife as he brought his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to him, letting his lips rest on her neck for a second "It is not your fault, and I did not expect to much. Though you are my wife and a good healer." he whispered to her "The fact that you tried is what counts" he said to her before he looked up when his daughter came into the room "Esther" he said to her, a small smile flicking onto his lips, but in that smile their was cruelty as well as love.
When his wife began to move away he held her hand as she stood, but he pulled her back onto his lap and held her tight around her waist in order to keep her from moving away again. "It is good timing that you are here. With your elder sister and brother having...." he couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence as his left eye twitched "you will be..." his sentence trailed off again as he felt a growing tightness in his chest and nausea as he spoke. He helped his wife off of his lap as he instead brought a hand to his chest, feeling his heart beat had gone irregular just before his body seized, his eyes rolling back in his head as his entire body began shaking, his teeth clenching and his limbs jerked uncontrollably. His body spasmed for a second before he blacked out, unable to see before he truly lost consciousness, laying limp in the chair as if he was dead, however he was still breathing.
Ambrosia smiled warmly at her husbands words and leaned softly back into him. As she had begun to get up in order to not make it awkward for his daughter he held her hand and pulled her right back onto his lap, causing her to let out a small happy squeak of surprise. She was about to wiggle a bit to get more comfortable when his speech pattern seemed off and she looked up to see his eye twitch. She looked down at Rascal, the big wolf coming in with her bag freshly packed with herbs and gifts from the hand maidens, in his jaws. A moment later her husband helped her off his lap and clasped at his chest. Ambrosia let out a startled gasp as he began to seize, "AZAZEL!" She leaned over the chair, tears streaking her face as she watched in horror. Once his eyes rolled into the back of his head she recognized it as a seizure and began trying to get him onto the ground and to roll him onto his side so he wouldn't bite his tongue and to help him breathe. Remembering her old teacher telling her what to do in this sort of situation. Once he calmed down it was a lot easier for her to move him into a laying position and finally get him onto his side so any fluids from the seizure may empty from his mouth and allow better breathing. She sat down beside him and gently stroked his hair, tears still falling down her cheeks. "Azazel, my beloved, please wake up...please." Rascal came over slowly and dropped Ambrosia's bag beside her. She shook her head, she wasn't quick sure of a remedy for this or even the poison his daughter had been giving him. All she knew that she could do to help is Not leave his side and when he wakes up prepare him some chamomile tea to help calm him.
Alistair opened the throne room doors and walked inside. his brow furrowed. he had left for two days, and the walls and ethernal fire where gone. The angel was not a being that would just leave, and the wording of there last discussion implied another meeting between them. something happened to them.
"I am sorry to interrupt you." he let himself calm his brow unforrow. as he looked at his father. once more he began to wonder just what he could learn fromt he man. he seemed to be aware of what was happening in the land, but was he content with the way thigns where? did he feel guilt at all for what he had done.
" Emperor i feel That Ethe might be in dire straits." Alaistair stood as straight as he could. " i am sure you are aware of what is going on in the territory... but i fear that soon there might be a civil war in our hands." He knew what he would suggest would likely put him in the bad part of history. even know he felt the itch to transform and just roam, but the empire needed him. Ethe needed him. even if it was only to stem some of the madness he felt woudl be coming. " the wall and the flame has gone out. and the queen has nto been seen in over a year. i think religiusly or politicaly ethe is in all likelyhood primed for someone to try to takee it from the empire."
He would wait and watch his father before he would continue. he needed to calmly try to judge this man who had title. he needed to learn a lot in a little time. and he needed to try to fnd the best answer he could arrive at.
deep in his mind a voice he never liked to listen to spoke up. this would be the perfect time to take over ethe

The Emperor was currently in council with his war advisors, though they were hardly ever seen and names could not be put to them, the faces were very recognizable, they were all hated men by the people, called by nicknames- the lords or punishment, wrath, and death. They were the Empires top generals since they fall of Lionis, they had aided him in taking back the throne in the name of Lionis but kept it for Drosselmeyer.
"How far has the army marched already" he asked and he got a whispered reply and he nodded his head as he moved a tiny dragon sculpture toward a large Phoenix "burn down the outer ring of the city and force everyone inward" the Emperor muttered before looking over at Alistair.
The Emperor would making a slicing motion across his neck toward his three generals to signal for silence before looking over at his second son...now his heir. He didn't exactly feel any pride in that thought. "Arnold, good to see you" he said to him as he brought up Ethe. The Emperor sighed slightly, he was so sick and tired about hearing of Ethe; they need people, they need food, they're going bankrupt, everyones dieing, the wall is down, the fires out.... blah blah blah blah blah, Ethe was just a Kingdom of whining tots that seemed to only be able to produce beautiful women. "What about that useless place" he said and crossed his arms over his chest.
He listened to his son for a moment and raised an eyebrow at what he said, someone might try to take Ethe from the Empire.... He hadn't thought about that. He smiled slightly as he then looked at one of his generals and he moved a piece that looked like a woman with long hair "Now that wont do The Emperor whispered as he placed the woman were the Ethen castle use to be "I heard that the Queen of Ethe had just given birth two a child...or two, I cant remember. And that shes so so ill" he said with a smirk, obviously not knowing weather or not Queen Ophelia was actually sick. "I will install Ursula as Regent... she should be able to quell any rebellions or wars quite easily don't you agree?" The Emperor asked Alistair as he snapped his fingers and he looked at the General "Send a letter to Ursula, have her go to Ethe with my seal..." he ordered.
Aliatair did not like what he heard. He had not heard much about his sister. " that might not help. Sister should be sent. But perhaps not as regent. The ethian people are proud and with bellriss defection some in the e.pire have begun to question wether or not we truly are the right family to be in control."
He did not know most of the people. But he begun to wonder why hia father first action was to send a regent. " if enough people fight us our strength wont matter. We cant appear to be war mongers." he kept his voice even as he explain his thoughts. " send her as a peace keeping force. About 3 thousand or 5 thousand men to help secure there border. That will shoe our strength without hurting there way of life."

Hades From Hell
A servant walked in quickly and keeping his eyes down handed the Emperor a letter sealed with Ambrosia's seal and 'Azazel' written on the top in her hand writing. Inside was a letter just for his eyes.
My Dearest Love Azazel,
I have gone out with the children and the usual escort you send with us to visit my father in Etherland. It is high time to introduce him to our children and some rather unsettling events have left me with a great many questions I must ask him. I shall miss you terribly while I am out and had so wished you could've joined me for this trip but I know you are busy with your generals and most likely trying to sort out how to find solutions for the riots that are breaking out in our kingdom.
Stay safe my love and I shall return to you with due haste so we may once more be beside eachther and continue our duties as one. Whether in marriage bed or outside of it. Save some time for me to introduce to you some new herbs I hope to discover and my tales of the my journey back to Etherland.
I love you with all of my soul my beloved Azazel. Yours Eternal, Ambrosia
The servant briskly walked away and closed the doors once more, not waiting to see if the Emperor opened it or not.

The Emperor scoffed slightly "what are we supposed to look like? weak then? preservers of peace?" he said to his son "Please, We're a Cadet house that rose to power though contemptible means, even if we put on a good front every tw**t with a mouth is going to question what we do and go behind our backs in order to screw us over" he said as he held out a hand and took the letter from the servant, he had a general whisper it into his ear before he looked back at his son "Seems like your stepmother is going to visit her family in Ethe." he said to him "Tell you what, I'll compromise. I will send 1000 men to Ethe with your sister, Five hundred will be sent to hold the boarder while the rest are under her control." he said to him "She will be an advisor to the country on behalf of the Empire, Ethes SUPPERIORS" he said to him before turning around and looking at the board "One would think that you're impartial to the Ethen's because of your mothers blood running though your veins boy" he said crossly.

Alistair Drosselmeyer
he should have known that his father would go in that route." i would not deny that charge." in this dangerous time, she choose to return to ethe? he wondered just what was happening. he did not expect his father to only send a thosand man. " there is a balance Emperor. no matter what you do everyone is going to question and plan behind your back. but if enough of the populous love you. no one can afford your death."
alistair looked at the board. " a superior can only be that when others acknowledge that. if you have not learned anything from history. house drosselmeyer shall be swallowed by the sands of times itself." his father as planning something big that was clear. " i shall go tell sister of her new post. may the house never fall." he had managed to keep his voice even until the last part. letting some of his irritation show through his dismissive tone in thee old greeting of ages gone by.
Clothing:ClothTransport:His feetWith:No one Going:NowhereMood:Angry Thoughts:"one two three..."
"Its not that the populace love me, but they cant find someone good enough to replace me or decide on someone better" he snorted "I wont give them a chance" he said to him before looking at his generals "How long until the man can move out?" he asked and he got a gently worded whisper and he nodded his head good" he said to him before looking back at his son "You will be Emperor one day, what would you do differently?" he asked him, tapping his fingers in slight annoyance as he had not dismissed his son.
