Current Weight: 148
Weight change since last week: +2 (over two weeks)
How I feel (mentally/physically): stressed. bleh.
Exercise (optional): elliptical and dog walking - exercise is still consistent even if my motivation isn't
How did the week go? I um... kinda blew off posting last week. I was feeling rebellious against keeping track since I knew I was being bad. I gained back two pounds over the last couple weeks. I'm not sure this is helping at all. My motivation seems to come and go. Maybe I should check in here more often during the week.

Aah, due to the holiday and all I've forgot to post here. Sorry! Ahem, so...

Current Weight: 76,8kg (169 lbs)
Weight change since last week: +1
How I feel (mentally/physically): Ok. Holiday was nice and relaxing.
Exercise (optional): Some gym and jogging. I walked a lot during my holiday trip.
How did the week go? Pretty good though I ate all kinds of no-no stuff during the holiday. I've tried to sharpen up now and I really need to focus or I'll start to slip back to the old habits.

Hey guys, how's it going? Sorry I haven't posted since the beginning... weight is really a hard thing for me to deal with. I can't believe it, but I've gained about 15 lbs since this thread started in March, putting me at 265. I keep gaining and gaining and I just hate it. I'm just about not fitting into my regular dress size anymore and that's just not gonna cut it. I'm thinking about joining weghtwatchers. I tend to do to really well with structure.

Why I decided to join: I am already in WeightWatchers and this one more trail to keep me honest
Current Weight: 288 lbs
Goal Weight: 200 lbs
How I feel (mentally/physically): "Nobody can defeat the Blob!" - Blob, Marvel Comics
My method/plan for losing weight: For now, keeping towards healthier choices. A lot of the time, I end up eating out due to my job keeping me on the move
Exercise (optional): I walk to and from work, five days a week, good half mile, 15 min walk

How long have you been in Weight Watchers? How do you find it working for you so far? Do you go to meetings, or do you do the online version?

OK, to start, WeightWatchers is a big lifestyle change, one that, even with the four months that I have been with them, I have yet to get right. You have to track what you eat using their system for PowerPoints and go to a weekly meeting, which keeps you honest as you weigh in at each meeting. When you do lose weight and hit certain markers, you get achievements, and you get a lot of good ideas from these meetings. Last week was how to spice up your meals without adding to the points, and I got an awesome idea of adding diced jalepenos to speghetti for a nice spicy flair.

It mostly sounds alright, it would just be really difficult for me to commit to a regular weekly time because I work shifts, and squeeze in other things when I'm not working. I heard with the online one you don't go to meetings and you do it on your own more. I like the idea of having the support from other people, but I also have sort of a crazy crazy schedule.

I would still highly suggest the meetings, they dont take more than an hour most times and tend to be fun

Current Weight: 147
Weight change since last week: -1
How I feel (mentally/physically): not bad. A little tired
Exercise (optional): nice long dog walks now that it's still warm and pretty light outside after dinnertime.
How did the week go?Not bad. My son's birthday was on Saturday and my husband's birthday was Monday. So even with a couple kinds of cake I managed to lose a pound. I'm only 5 pounds down from my starting weight. I thought this would go faster - but it's hard to stay consistent. As long as I'm still heading in the correct direction though I'm going to keep at it. If I can't do it I'm breaking down and joining Weight Watchers too! wink

Do you know if I'd still be able to go to the meetings if I had the online version?

Current Weight: 249
Weight change since last weigh-in: -3.4lbs
How I feel (mentally/physically): Mentally; disturbed. Physically; fat and achy.
Exercise (optional): 5x 3-mile walks, 2x 2.5 mile walks, 1x 2-mile walk.
How did the week go? With getting back into school, I have been all over the place.

I found an igoogle gadget, google 15, that you put your weight in every day and it outputs your overall weight loss pattern. It's kind of helpful because it strains out the upticks in your weight and gives you a better overall picture.

Blah! Been so busy with AKon and work that I completely forgot about this. I will be posting tomorrow after my WW meeting so I know my weights and so forth. On the plus side, did grocery shopping yesterday. Got Lean Pockets to replace all the burgers I eat for lunch, and I nabbed some soups and fixings for Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on 7 Grain Bread.

Current Weight: 77,3kg (170 lbs)
Weight change since last week: +1
How I feel (mentally/physically): Sick week really wasn't good in regards of my weight loss.
Exercise (optional): Gym.
How did the week go? I'm basically back at the starting point. *slams her head to table* Times like these, I really can't see how I'm ever going to do this.

You can do it! Gains are natural, and losing weight is not really a fast thing. It's not healthy if it's fast. Just keep at it!

I joined Weight Watchers yesterday. mrgreen

I haven't had time to look at any of the stuff yet so I haven't quite started... but I'm on my way to starting! So I'm feeling really optimistic about that. My official starting point is 267 lbs.

Also, I bought a new proper-fitting bra today, and some Spanx. So I'm feeling better about myself in general. At least I look good. 3nodding
