Khane chuckled a bit. "You let me worry about that. You just focus on learning control. Once you spend enough time working with it, it will eventually stop pouring out subconsciously, so long as you use it regularly. It tends to build up over time and if it isn't used, then it starts to overflow and cause random things to happen, and not even I know what may happen. It could just as easily cause a simple and small thing, like a bit of sparks from no where, to something huge like destroying an entire planet in seconds." As he spoke he got more and more serious. "This is why I'm teaching you, so that you won't accidentally kill a bunch of people."

"Please, I really don't want that on my conscious. Bad enough I raided ships for a living." She replied taking a moment to get to knowing and get used to the feeling she had.

"Then we'd better get a move on." Khane replied before changing the space around them. One second, they were standing amongst the stars, and the next, they were in a library containing thousands of books. All of them were in a language unknown to Denira. "These..." Khane gestured to the books around them. "is every book in the known universe than contain mentions of people like you and me. They are brief, vague, and have only small pieces of worthwhile information. When you are not working to control your powers, we will come here to rest or so you can study the history of our kind. We are all born of parents native to our home planet, but we are all vastly different from our own kind and even others like us." He paused, taking a book and opening it. "Each tale is of some great, god-like being interfering in the lives of mortals. They come offering either peace, or chaos, and each time, the telling is different. Each time, a different person is acting for his or her own reasons. I became much like them, but instead of reaching out to change a world every chance I get, I simply keep each one alive, so that life may continue to thrive in its home."

Denira looked at the book that Khane held. "One thing is for sure is I need to learn that language if I'm going to have history lessons too, though I don't have a problem with learning." Hearing about him keeping civilizations alive. She couldn't help but smile it was something that was very honorable. "That's an amazing thing." Denira actually enjoyed being around Khane it seemed like they were connected in a different way then just him teaching her.

Khane just smiled. "The language should come naturally. I'll teach you a few words and you should be able to pick up the rest." He paused at her comment on his saving of worlds. "Well, when you start doing it on a regular basis, the novelty kinda wears off, but thank you." He put the book back and sat down in one of the chairs nearby. "Well... What do you want to do right now?" He asked, knowing a full day had passed and she would probably be tired. It would take a while before her final change was finished, but until it was, she would probably still need sleep and a few meals a day.

"Life to people is a valuable thing, no matter the way it's lived." She replied as she watched Khane put the book back and sit down. When he asked her what she wanted to do next her stomach spoke for her as it gave a rumble. "Guess my stomach make the decision for me."

Khane chuckled and stood up again. "How about this? Picture all of your favorite foods. Think of how they looked, what they smelled like, how they tasted..." As he spoke, he was gently probing her thoughts and gathering power to create every food he picked out from her.

Denira thought about it, she loved this pasta dish with white sauce, she could smell the garlic from it too and she loved the vegetables and the chicken meat in it, she remember every last detail of the dish.

As she thought of it, Khane made it appear in front of her, on a table and ready to eat.

Denira looked at the food, but a worried expression came upon her face. "What about you?" She asked, not understanding why he wasn't eating.

"Each time you begin learning to control another aspect of your powers, you become less and less reliant of food and sleep to keep yourself going until you simply don't need it anymore." Khane explained. "That's not to say I don't still enjoy a good meal, but I would rather not bother when I have something more important to do." He said as he watched her. He felt drawn to her. There was something about her that drew his eye more than others. For a while he kept thinking it was just the fact that she was as powerful as he was, but he was beginning to feel like there was more to it than that.

"More important things?" She asked, sitting down to start eating using the skills that she learned from one of the members of her crew on how to eat pasta.

"Like making sure you don't accidentally blow up your food." He said as he diverted another leak of her power. Khane chuckled as a burst of sparks appeared above their heads and fell on them.

Emptying her mouth of food. "You know I'm going to be happy when I don't do that." She said, watching the sparks fall and feeling kind of bad about it even if she was still learning.

"I think it just keeps things interesting. Besides, I'm always careful to make sure nothing serious happens. I think, at worst, you'll only need to worry about something catching on fire or something along those lines." Khane said dismissively. He was honest about that. Her presence and near constant activity meant he always had something that could draw his attention. Whereas, before he had met her, occurrences that he could really focus on for extended amounts of time were rare and not always fulfilling or exciting.
