Ice Road Runner
OH SNAP RIYO GOT NO FLAGS THE WHOLE COMPETITION.

The voice trailed off in Riyo's head as yet again she was back at the beginning, cold and alone, in great pain and frigidly cold. She laid there. On the ground... Until she slowly dissipated.

Rock Climbing
Hel stared up at her final obstacle course with a grim expression. Rock climbing. This had to be better for her, right? She did have wings after all…this course should be to her advantage! She sure picked a good time to do it, though. The weather was snow and hail, but the one good thing was that she could not hear her Lepus guide over the howling of the weather. Also a good thing…her bare hands would probably go numb soon!
Which was good, considering these first bit of rocks looked really sharp. True to the logic though, the pain was nothing once she couldn’t feel her fingers.

Rock Climbing
Hey, this seemed to be going rather well!
Hel, due to her Nordic nature, thrived in a harsh, unforgiving environment like this. As the side of the cliff rumbled though, the ghoul looked up, alarmed. Ooooh Jac—
The reaper braced herself closer to the cliff face, and luckily narrowly managed to avoid the rocks that swept down by her. That didn’t stop the hail from pelting her, but at it would have been over if those rocks got her. With a grin, Hel yanked another flag and continued on.

Rock Climbing
Climbing was a repetitive task that Hel easily fell into. She was rather proud of herself that she was handling this one so well. Of course it’d be under some of the worse circumstances (maybe she wanted to show up Titus too, after he claimed to be carrying this team).
When her numb fingers touched something that wasn’t smooth, though, Hel looked alarmed once more…and the concern was reaffirmed by the squawking-roar sounds. The reaper cursed loudly as she started to get pecked and dive bombed by bird-dragons, and swatted at them for a moment before continuing on. Luckily her persistence paid off, and she managed to snag her next flag.

Rock Climbing
You know, despite that her hands were numb…it didn’t exactly mean the rest of her body was as well.
She was getting tired. Will power and sheer stubbornness could only get her so far, after all, and glancing down, she noted that she was rather far up. Just…just a little break. The ghoul pulled herself up onto a small ledge, and took in a deep breath. The moment was short lived, as she heard a cracking sound, and the next thing she knew, she was falling.
Hel let out a startled cry, before she remembered she had wings, and with a few flaps, she was able to secure herself to another ledge.
Awww yeah. That’s why it was a good idea to do this course being a winged student.

Rock Climbing
Hel was breathing heavily as she sat herself on this new ledge, easily falling into the lull that she was safe.
Her lepus popped its head out of the bag to look up at her, as an ominous cracking sound was heard. Hel froze. “Did you know we’re about to fall?” Hel just stared at the lepus. That little stint previously at snow and ice clumped in her wings…she couldn’t carry herself like that again…not to mention she was really tired. Ffffffffuu—
Hel tried to enjoy the fall before the infirmary. You know, doing flips and s**t before eventually splatting on the bottom to reform in the infirmary later.
Hey…at least she got 3 flags. Had to look at the bright side, right?
