Snow Dash!
Well, she got out of the snowdrift, but it seemed that she was far from safe when it came to the evil white cold from Christmastown. The rumble in the distance made her look over her shoulder just in time to see the wall of snow before it hit her, burying her so firmly she couldn't even move a finger.
Then, suddenly, she was back at the beginning of the course.

ICE ROAD RUNNER:
Calder was back for vengeance! He was wearing a sweater, his kilt, AND for once, some thick boxers under that. Not only that, but he worse the rubber shoes that Barth and Christof invented for traction.
This course was going down.
What he forgot was the winds, which he had no defense again, and before he even took a step, he was pushed back again.

Calder waited, bracing himself, until the howling gust billowed through the cave and died down. Taking his chance, he moved forward.
Past the first point where he died, and deep into the cave, farther than he had gone before.

ICE ROAD RUNNER:
As quickly as he moved, the noise from the cracking ice disrupted the ice from above, sending a spike shard crashing not and shattering all around. Piece and chunks of glimmering ice were thrown across the track, and what little footing Calder had one his rubber-covered hooves was lost. One advantage down. It was as if the cave KNEW he was here and wanted to see him fall - or break his a**.
His tailbone was singing as he sat down, wincing. It wasn't likely he would be sitting anytime soon.

ICE ROAD RUNNER:
The wind was after him, and looking about, he tried to find a way out of it's path of hate. The wall was his best bet, and hunching over, Calder slowly moved over to then lean against the wall. It was better than nothing and not directly in the wind's path as it came barreling through the cave.

ICE ROAD RUNNER:
Walking alongside the wall, he managed to see his first flag fluttering in the dark. Walking slowly, he looked about. No gust.
Quietly, he moved over and reached out, taking the flag for his own.
CCCCRRRAAAAACCCCKKKK
Looking down, the ice splintered under his hooves, and before he new it, Calder was waking up in the infirmary.
