Snow Dash
---AREA-------- ___ You’re dashing through the snow. It’s pretty simple. It’s not that far and not even uphill or downhill. What could possibly go wrong? As soon as you run too far ahead, you hear an ominous crackling noise. You have wandered right onto thin ice. And it breaks. --ACTION------- ROLLING FOR SNOW DASH STAGE 1: ___ Result: [9] 5-12 – You leap forward to safety and solid ground. Not today, ice. Not today. You obtain one flag ----------------
Mai was upset with this course. Upset because she couldn't figure out how she'd sunk into snow. She was weightless if she wanted to be! Must be some kind of horseman trickery, she was sure of it. The ghost glared (sleepily) at the snow before her... Also, she was pretty sure she'd heard the lepus guide express dislike of the cold. Huhuhuuu.. she definitely needed to run this course again. Damn lepus.
And again, she made it past the dangerously unstable ice flow, nabbing herself a flag on the way.

Which turns out to be worse than you could imagine, when you begin sinking into a deep snowdrift. . --ACTION------- ROLLING FOR SNOW DASH STAGE 1: ___ Result: [6] 1-6 – Flailing and panicking only makes you sink faster. The world around you goes white and silent. You’re in over your head! GAME OVER. ----------------
Somehow Mai landed on the same snowdrift. She flailed and thrashed angrily, but just like the previous day, the ghost was soon in over her head.

But somehow she managed to claw her way out. Maybe it wasn't the same snowdrift after all.

Mai blinked. That was actually helpful.. kind of.

Mai blinked again. Wait what? The cat spun around, just now noticing the rumble that had crept up on her in her single-minded dash for the finish. Ooh.. Jack...
And then the avalanche caught her. For a split second Mai thought she understood what it must feel like to be hit by a train. Then everything went white.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESS
1, 2, 3: Pass. You make your way forward. The ground is a little uneven and every so often you might stumble over a rock in your path, but all in all, this is the easy part. You obtain one flag.
It was a dark.. dark cave. o__o Lacie couldn't even see two steps ahead of her, wondering if there would be something that would pop out at her. Her hands groped around the walls, searching for a guideline.. when it stumbled across a familiar shape.
"A flag?"

Lacie heard something akin to a low grown.. it was kinda of like when the neighborhood dogs chased her. ~_~ That had not been a pleasant experience.

3, 4: Fail. Whether you simply refuse to enter such a dank, grody place, or you decide to brave the nastiness, a rainbow tentacle grabs you by the ankles and drags you down a water slide that ends back outside. (Don't ask how you slid down a slide and ended up on the surface, okay?)
"Ah!" Something slithered around Lacie's ankle, pulling her feet out from under her. "I-It's all slimy ;_;!!" Lacie couldn't help but squeal.
Closing her eyes in shock -- waiting for her imminent thought, Lacie was surprised to find herself tossed back outside with only two flags.

"I quit." Night bluntly said before walking back along the pier. The wood gave away in protest to him LEAVING and he found himself knee deep in water. His whole body shudder as he gave a pathetic mewl. "I hate this."

He grumbled and hissed and almost was on the verge of tears as he pulled himself off the pier. What he greeted with was his Lepus guide he had abandoned. How it followed him there was a mystery. He stared at the face before picking it up and strapping it on again. Gingerly, he went to the end of the pier and stood there.
"I'm not going in, I said I quit." Night hissed, turning around. His lepus guide had other ideas.
"Did you know...A drowned cat is a quiet cat?" It grinned before headbutting Night, causing him to stumble and fall into the water with a oh not so graceful fall.
He flailed in the water as the Lepus shoved him down. He was going to kill the damned thing!
His eyes caught on the floaty cloth of a flag though and he like awkwardly paddle his way to it, tucking it in his pocket. ******** water man, if he wasn't already dead, he would've been now.
"Did you know..." The lepus guide just made bubbling sounds at him.

THE WATER LAKE
(( Now that you're in the water, it's time to start weaving your baskets. Completely submerging yourself is absolutely essential for making baskets, and anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong. ))
Night was completely and upset submerged, looking for anything he could use for materials. As a ghost, he could float in the water....or he could walk along the bottom of the lake's bed or you know...float on the bottom. He gathered and then started weaving, the lepus guide his backpack of supplies.
"I like it." He announced and frowned, was he still underwater? Okay, keep weaving, just forget about the pain and fear.

THE WATER LAKE
(( Fish Attack! The marine life doesn't like your intrusion, and try to chase you out of the water. They hurl their scaly bodies at you, gnaw at your nose, or generally try to be as annoying as possible. ))
Night growled as little schools of fishes passed by. They wanted his basket and jack damn if he was going to sit in the water, make a basket and then forfeit it to the very things that he...ATE.
"Stupid fish." He muttered as he continued to hunt around. The fish started to get bigger...and meaner. They swam in front of him, they tried to trip him, they surrounded him. He tried to reach out to grab them but it was like he was in slow motion.
"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF..................YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...............FISSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH." He started moving away. One of the fish decided his tail looked like a worm or something and took a nibble, causing goosebumps on the cat ghost flesh to rise. He screamed, hurtling himself towards the shore, this was when you were put into the wrong habitat to be the dominant species. Shoreline! He was safe!
