I didn't realize we had gone so long with out proper food in the past few days. I'm sorry Gemini. He replied then growled at the mention of her father. Sure his own father had been rough, but that was just an alpha male showing a cub how to survive. What her father did was just cruel. Don't worry Gemini....I promise to do better. You won't have to go through any of that again. Fire cats are built differently I guess....

I mean no insult...it's just...we seem to be able to handle things a little differently. I can go a few days longer than most with out food and the elements do not affect me as badly. He answered. I should have thought more about it that way you would have been able to use your magic properly and not wound up so cold.

"I didn't take it as an insult. I asked because I didn't understand. You are a fire being, your body temp is higher than mine. Mine is like a Humans. You've also been what you are you're entire life. I've only used magic like seven years. There was a time I went for years on only scraps. Scraps I'd get maybe once a week. But then I escaped and I've been eating a ton every day. And I think food makes energy, which I used a lot of in walking. But I wasn't eating so I wasn't replacing the energy."

He told her, she had released him so now he was walking beside her as they continued to explore the outside of the hotel. Maybe they could stay for longer than needed. It was nice here.

I think that is the room he replied as she carried him back inside. Once his paws were on the floor he followed after his charge. He looked up at her and tilted his head wondering if it was alright to come in here. He hoped it wasn't a private study. I was thinking perhaps a good story might be a good way to spend the afternoon. If we find one we can go back outside in the sun. he told her.

Perhaps on a dark stormy night Poe would be a good choice. He turned to Gemini to see if she had found something she preferred yet.

Some people are not fans of William Shakespeare. I find him rather good. He smiled at her letting her know she didn't need to apologize for anything. Hmm...Twelfth Night or Midsummer's Night Dream? There would be no tragedy telling tonight.

I have a story, well a play really, it's comical and the ending turns out good. He reached up and pulled the big volume of Shakespeare off the shelf. I just hope it doesn't bore you. There would be no tragedy telling tonight.

"I don't know who that is. What's a play?" She's only heard the word in terms of playing. "You said you wanted to read outside right?" Heading back outside Gemini finds a nice place to sit with him. "What are you going to read?" On the one hand she's glad that he doesn't ask questions on everything she says. She also feels bad she sometimes has to ask so many. But at least they're not as many as when she first found shelter after getting free. And on the other hand, she feel bad for not sharing more since he is protecting her and helping her so much.
