"Well I trust you, Shun, even if this isn't the most...ideal way to have to come out to us about this."
However, two seconds later, it seemed Jericho had been completely set off and he was getting up a bit closer to that 'flame' point of her char, Shehk's frown becoming more obvious. Then suddenly came a roar from the Pricolici in turn;
"JERICHO." Any accusation she was going to make or any further statement was left off, her tone said everything that the Dragon would need to know - if he could pick it up. He had Promised her. Promised, and she was taking that exchange very seriously.

As soon as Jericho yelled into the mic with his accusations Mitsu's hackles were raised. Maybe a hint of her understood he was leery and nervous but Shun was risking a lot to bring them this information. He was putting himself on the line and she was not going to tolerate anyone belittling him.
"Hey, Calm down!" Mitsu barked at the computer a near growl rising in her throat. Who knew if she would be as brave if Jericho were there in person but at the moment she was mad, her ears pressed flat against her skull. "Shun is risking a lot by coming out and telling you any of this, the least you can do is to avoid jumping to conclusions."
She had tried to keep her voice even and neutral but it had been obvious she was angry. In her moment of frustration she was actually starting to doubt her trust for the dragon. He didn't seem....nearly as stable as he once was. Not anymore. Perhaps he was the one they shouldn't trust. At least the others seemed to share the same feelings. Shun wasn't one to be mistrusted.

"Nothing, Lizzy. Jericho's being a psycho~" A nice bit of nonchalance there, really. "D-Don't worry! They're defending Shun!" Amrita followed up, in a much nicer tone. Because there was no sense in making her worry about too many things when her stomach was already hurting! Mac, however, had already returned to the conversation.
"Hel? Shut your face~" The Reaper drawled and rolled his eyes; Sorry Mot, your comment was a smidgen too late! As he sat back and listened to everyone else, his brain was turning.
"Hey, yeah, yanno, speaking about trust..." Mac leaned forward towards the mic, folding his hands neatly on the desk in front of it. "Shun's shown a lot of it, but what about our charming Admins?" The sarcasm in his voice was clear. "Mitsu's right, Shun's risking a lot, and we're all risking a lot too. We're all out in the open, we can tell who is who and we're all at risk by voice recognition alone...so why are we being lead by an unknown with a masked voice? Isn't that rather suspicious?" He paused, lightly strumming his fingers on his desk.

Snarling, Jericho was about to make a retort to a few of the ones defending Shun, but held back as Shehk barked his name. Gritting his teeth, he just got up and moved away from his desk, tossing his headset aside. Right. He had made a promise to her. And so, he just stormed around his room a bit to fume. Did he like this situation any more? No, he did not. He still was very wary of the Reaper at this point.
After a short while, he returned to his chair and put the headset back on. He did not, however, say anything this time around. Lest he end up snapping again.
----
Twitching from the sudden accusation, Shun shook his head to himself while listening to the things sparked off by it. He was surprised to hear Mac defending him for sure. And as Mitsu got riled up herself, he placed a hand on her shoulder to try and get her to calm down. No, he was not particularly pleased with Jericho's reaction, but it didn't take him by surprise either.
But then some of the suspicion shifted from him to the mysterious admin. It was a good question really. And right now, he was slightly torn on how to feel regarding it. Yes, it was safer to keep ones identity a secret, and the Reaper had a bit of a tendency to have a 'just do, don't ask' type of mindset still.

Shehk seemed to notice when the admin was deemed to be 'mysterious', frowning a bit. "That's a good point. I don't know about you guys, but if the Admin approaches any of the Horsemen anonymously, that...might not go down so well." she added in, but she didn't seem to press it any further, just leaning back to type into her phone again.Blade Kuroda I'm sorry for yelling at you. For her two chat-companions, all Shehk did was frown at her phone and kind of make a sort of guilty looking face, as though she'd handled that entire thing incorrectly.
She felt bad.Another Text to Jericho I did it because I'm worried about you accidentally alerting everybody to what is happening........ am I worrying needlessly?

Mitsu was all but baring her teeth at the computer screen, like it would do any good, but the sudden hand on her shoulder snapped her out of the fury that had taken over. Her eyes easing back to their normal state she looked over her shoulder at Shun, a look of apology there to greet him. She hadn't meant for something like that to happen. Thankfully the majority were on Shun's side but she never would have imagined they would have accused him of being on the wrong team.
"I'm sorry," Mitsu whispered, being sure to avoid the mic. "I didn't think something like that would happen.." Hopefully she wasn't wrong by suggesting Shun bring this to light though now she was a little leery of the dragon. Would he do something rash if he came around? Mitsu was semi certain she could handle him if he stayed in his student form but if he transformed even she would be out of her league.

Still rather unhappy, Jericho soon checked his phone as he received a few more texts from Shehk. Rubbing his forehead, he closed his eyes and took in a few deep breaths. Rather than saying anything, he just started to text back to the Pricolici. Text to Shehk No. You're fine. I still don't trust him though. ----- Looking at Mitsu softly, Shun shook his head as he gripped her shoulder gently. "Don't worry about it. You might not have expected it.. but I did. I don't blame him, nor anyone else that might not have vocalized it,"All in all, if this hadn't gone well, it would have just prompted him to continue trying to tackle the issue on his own. To him, that was not a huge deal. Despite what Mitsu or anyone else may feel.

Riley shook her head in disgust. Listen to them, mia cara. Defending the boil with the closest connection to our enemy that we have had in .. well, ever. Riley's skin itched, and her claws scratched against the skin of her side angrily. So convinced that the bonds of friendship are enough. That this boil they've known all of a year or two couldn't possibly be lying to them. That we're all on their side, and trust should be handed out so easily. She growled, and several other unhappy sounds left her tentacles.
She pushed herself off her seat, and leaned over the computer. Her hand pressed against her chest, ripping her skull pin off and placing it on the desk below. A few seconds worth of rippling, tearing transformation, and all of her tentacles were now on her face, covering the round, toothy gape of her mouth. She turned the microphone up towards her abruptly, and hissed directly into it.
"The matter of who is the admin is the least of our problems, boil." Her voice was throaty, and wet. "Stop wasting everyone's time. In fact, simply to make you feel better, we are the admin. Does this soothe your infernal questions? Can we get back on topic? Or should we spend some time discussing what the admin is wearing today, so we're sure that the admin can make the right fashion forward decisions for us as we face our destruction?"
She resettled the microphone back into place, and her fists clenched tight, as if she was desperate to overturn the entire table and be done with this meeting. Instead, she scratched her nails against her chest, leaving vicious pale markings on the silver and purple skin.

Worried, Malodore reached out and gently captured her wrists in its hands. " Mia cara... don't take your frustration out on yourself." It had been rather startled when she tore off her pin and slipped back into her natural form, but she was beautiful in whichever shape she chose. It looked at the microphone briefly, worried, then shook its head. It wasn't worth interjecting at this juncture, especially when it had nothing in particular to say. The entire issue was extraordinarily troubling, but the plague doctor had always been one to listen, compile evidence, and think before acting.

Shehk actually recoiled from the chat as the voice of Riley growled over the speakers, almost feeling like her senses had been assaulted by that voice and trying to not growl back into her mic. She'd expressed enough anger over it for one day, and instead angrily clicked the 'mute mic' button on her chat application so that the angry noises she did make wouldn't be heard over it while she listened to the others have their exchanges.
This was a disaster.
A surefire sign that trying to work as a group was full of..push and pull, as it was. Dammit, her own stress level was kind of taking a hike too. Not crying yet, but dammit, she was definitely getting herself worked up. She needed to go for a walk or a spar or something after this.

It took a lot of fighting with the tatzel over the location of the "any key" but soon the pup and kitten found their way into the scythe call for couriers. just in time to hear about Shun and his involvement with the Kuroda family smuggling.
"Not to be the rain on the parade, but if Shun has a connection to this, he might want to be hands off on the mission." Demi said strangely rationally. "This way there could be no chance at a claim of sabotage or the chance that his family would find out about their mole leaking information." Far be it from him to defend the quiet reaper, but someone had to look out for all their interests.
meanwhile pepin's giggles did cause the pup to tilt his head in wonder.

Shun furrowed his brow at the fairly new voice. Was that.. Riley? She sounded different. Well regardless, it seemed she was claiming to be the admin of this whole thing, and quite frankly, he could see it. Though the identity of the admin wasn't one of his more pressing concerns in the first place.
After raising an eyebrow at the little exchange between Pepin and Bul, he soon narrowed his eyes with Demi's suggestion.
"I am not sitting out of this," he said plainly. If they were that worried about him ratting them out or whatever, simply having him sit sidelines would not fix that problem. They would essentially have to have him under house arrest, which was not something he wanted. At all. It would also work poorly for him on the other side, That aside, he felt that he was fairly responsible for the situation.
