"Oh yeah?" Abby said, her face now as red as her hair due to her anger. "Well, I'd say ya also need THIS!"
Without any further ado, Abby brought her foot up and kicked Arell as hard as she possibly could in the nuts; and considering the adrenaline pumping through her at the moment since she was worked up, and the sensitivity of the male nether regions (and not to mention Abby's good luck powers amplifying the attack for her), the kick would hurt. A lot.
"Yer welcome, arsehole!" she said as the kick landed.

Words could barely describe the pain of a broken spirit and some heart pains. But being kicked in the nuts beats it by ten. However, this guy was a glutton for Punishment, as Arell staggered back, his cojones screaming in pain.
"I KNOW I'm an a*****e. No need fer you t' scream it." he said, his low Cajun growl now up several octaves, and fell over with a "THUD!" blacked out from the pain of the nut-shot. Keep in mind, this guy was a badass . . . but then Abby sent him packing.

((Note for Soulless: Have Tim react the way most guys would react to seeing a 6'4", 250 pound, armed-to-the-teeth man go down (and get knocked out) after being kicked in the groin by a thirteen-year-old, five foot tall, 110 pound girl who has no idea how to fight. xDDD))

((And if anyone calls god-mod for Abby kicking Arell in the nuts, I not only gave him permission ('cause in my mind, Arell has been a total p***k this mission) but encouraged it, enjoyed the idea of it, and if there was a video of it, would highly suggest it up on youtube.))

Crystal had rolled her eyes when Arell went to leave and stood up, getting out of the boat. He didn't understand, she didn't know that the disease was still active, she hadn't shown any signs of becoming weaker or tired. This was because it was running slower, delayed because of the original alterations.
Artemis' eyes went wide as he looked up at Abby. "Where in the world did that come from?!"
Tygrus gasped and ran over and picked Abby up, pulling her away from Arell. "Calm down small one. There is no need for violence."
She struggled to get back up to the building in her exhausted state. When she finally made it she stopped to catch her breath and saw Arell on the ground. "What the ********?!"

Arell was still rather out cold, seeing stars. However, there was something in his shirt pocket. Something that looked like a note. One could catch a "-al" on the front. Like he wrote it for someone.

It would be an obvious statement to say things had gotten quickly out of hand. Tim stared at Arell, a fully grown man, laying flat on his back after taking a (rather low) hit from a young teen girl. Wittnessing such an event in and of itself was painful, and Tim winced big time when it happened... but at the same time he was guilty of a hidden satisfaction from Abby's actions.-- Arell had after all been very "difficult" the entire mission-- not that Robin would admit to the odd humor that would come from this situation. He looked up at Abby and then to Crystal when she arrived, giving them both the same startled face.
"Okay.... let's... just get out of here."
Tim coughed a short *ahem* and approached Arell; he'd drag the Cajun to the boat if he had to. There was work to be done in Gotham, and Arell was not going to get up any time soon from the looks of things.

Crystal shook her head. "I have to stay, for now. Dorian was the one that originally made alterations to my DNA and he's the only one in the world that knows how to work with it. Besides, as long as the last change he did worked, it shouldn't be too long before I can leave."
Tears started down her cheeks. "I don't want to die.... Not like my mother did... She was miserable, and I knew it, no matter how much she lied and pasted on a fake smile."
Tygrus looked to Crystal, his ears down in sympathy. "Please do not cry sister."

Abby initially struggled in Tygrus' grip, but she stopped when she saw Crystal.
"Wait... what? Who said you were gonna die?" Abby asked the cat-girl, and the redness in her face drained away.

As Robin crouched down next to Arell, he looked up to Catgirl again. Whoa, wait, where did this come from? She might die if she doesn't stay?
"...hold on...."
Tim's face twisted into a frown as he looked back down at Arell... he spotted the corner of paper from his shirt pocket. After a moment of contemplation, Robin's curiosity got the better of him and he lightly pulled at the paper.

"When I was a small child, my mother fought with a genetic disease that killed her from the inside out and for years she was in and out of hospital after hospital. No one could do anything, there was no cure, they didn't even know how to stop the pain." She looked to her hands that now had that slight coating of peach colored fur. She looked back up to the others. "After she died, the doctor who's care had been the best and the one she died seeing, insisted to test me for the same thing. His theory what that if she had me after the activation of the disease it was possible that I had it as well." She watched their faces. "The test came back positive. For the next year, year and a half, my father went mad. At the time I did not realize it was from the fear of loosing me after he had lost his wife. He spent all his time in the cellar, trying to find a cure. Finally, he found it and decided to use it on me. The time this was going on is still a blur to me but I decided to leave his custody and, frankly, ran away." She looked down at Arell. "I went to the only place I really knew, back to New Orleans... Trust me, crossing the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway was not easy. All of this caused me to become a 'street rat' for the nest couple of years till I decided to adopt myself into a family." She paused only momentarily. "But that's a story for another day, and can actually be found in my file on the Batwave Computer." Crystal took a big breath. "Well s**t happens and yesterday... I think... I was nabbed by Dorian's henchman and brought here. He explained to me that the alterations he was performing before were never finished and that it was possible that the disease was still able to activate, which it had, and that he had found another way to actually break that genetic anomaly that made up the disease that would be less stressful on my body and could be performed in one go. I agred to cooperate for a reason. If this goes as he planned I won't have to worry about dieing a most painful death." She sighed. "I didn't even think that there was even a possibility for it to even be active, much less have to be here."

It was there that Arell was showing some signs of life. Or at least more than being blacked out did. However, deep within the realms of Arell's subconscious, the two sides of Arell (human and alligator) were deep within a debate between them. Mostly what THEY were gonna do now. After all, obviously the human side of Arell (especially of the previous actions of the short, redheaded one) had let this rescue of a loved one get into his head a little too deep.
Well, NOW we're in a tight goddamn spot. Got any MORE bright ideas? the human side of Arell asked. To those that were actually conscious, it looked like Arell was slowly getting himself together.
Well, after hearing the evidence, I don't think you and her are a hot idea, Arell. After all, you DID try to off Dr. Dad. That was NOT me! You ain't blamin' this bs on me! the gator responded.
Excuse me? What happened to "Let's just eat the sonofabitch?" Besides, you think I'm here just for a vacation? HELL ********' NO! I was here to rescue HER, but now she doan' WANT to be rescued! Arell's human side responded.
You also weren't thinkin'. Why would you try to go storm the proverbial castle underprepared and with Robin the Boy Wonder, the red-head Nut Buster and a talking CAT?! I swear, that just screams "bad sitcom" all over it! the gator responded. Who woulda thought that of all things, that gator would know pop culture?
Well . . . that was three more people that I wanted to bring . . . and I did it 'cause I love her . . . think I love her . . . pre- the human side was cut off by the gator.
OH FOR CHRISSAKES YOU SNIVELING, SOFT b*****d! Love and death are two things you can't be having second thoughts about. Either you love the girl or you don't. You either kill the b*****d . . . or ya don't! Right now, she needs you. She also needs Dr. Dipshit. But you know what? Since you just made a grade-a fool of yourself in front of EVERYONE with your idiot "shoot first, ask questions later" Detective Calahan BULLSHIT. Hand her the note, kid. We're savin' face. CLEARLY she don't want you around, THEY don't want you around, and Daddy-may-be-in-law and you have such a GREAT first impression. Hell, we share the SAME BODY and I really don't like you right now. the gator thought.
Outside of this subconscious debate, the human side of Arell was showing some signs of transformation. Slight things. However the note was now out of his shirt pocket thanks to Tim taking a look. He forgot about that note!
WAIT! Wait a ******** minute. I could get a chance to redeem myself! Arell yelped in his subconscious.
Oh here we go . . . another one of your DUMB ideas. the gator side groaned.
However it was here the transformation stopped and Arell came to. Looking up at the four. Even ARTEMIS looked taller than he was.
"Ow . . . where am I?" he asked . . . then looked up at Tygrus . . . Abby . . . Tim . . . Crystal . . . "Weird weird freaking dream. You had gotten kidnapped by a doctor, you three went with me to rescue her, I was an a*****e and then she kicked me in the nuts." he said, summing up everything that happened before he "woke up" DID happen.
I REALLY gotta start listening to that reptile. Something tells me between trying to comprehend what the ******** going on here and helping overthrow Castro, I think I'd have better luck down there. And cigars. Tasty big cigars. he thought.

When Arell spoke Crystal stood up straight and made a full out dash twords him, Tygrus jumping out of the way with Abby and Artemis.
The cat-girl pounced/glomped the big Cajun. "Don't you ever be such a d**k again or I'll be the one making the nut shots next time." She spoke through tears.
Tygrus looked down at Abby in his arms, now thoroughly confused but before he could ask what about the circumstances Dorian walked out of the building. "So this is where everyone was hiding."
He looked down at Crystal. "You'll be fine. The disease has halted as far as I can currently tell. I want you to come and see me within the next year." He looked at her almost as if he was second guessing himself. "I can trust you to do that, can't I?"
Crystal looked up at him, a stunned carp look on her face but still nodded.
"Good." The Doctor looked to Tygrus. "Come along. I'm sure they have more pressing matters to attend to." Dorian looked back to Crystal before walking back inside. "I want you to get some rest."
Artemis swung a claw laden paw at Dorian as he walked by. "a** hat."
Tygrus looked to Abby, setting her down with a soft pat to her head. "You are a sweet girl. I hope you'd visit me again?" Then he looked to Crystal. "Please do come back sister."

Abby looked up at Tygrus and blinked, unsure of what to make of him.
"But-- but... I kicked a guy in his daddy-bags. Yer pattin' me on the head after that?" she asked, utterly dumbfounded. Honestly, she was still trying to make sense of this whole ordeal.

"If he made an appointment this time, I wouldn'ta come down here tryin' to blow his brains out." he said with a low growl as they got up. Giving Dorian the bird as he went past.
"Next time you pull dis heah kidnappin' stunt I'll bring more bullets ya nuthless pile a' tick turds!!!" Arell growled.
He was just about to leave, staggering a little bit. "Crystal honey. Do ALL yo' doctor's appointments wind up like dis? Or should I watch out fer de dentist, too?" he asked. Hell I could use a haircut. should I wait for Sabretooth to kidnap me or should I just make an appointment?
