naming Since childhood, he would run up and down the mountain peaks, like meltwater at the first sight of spring. Bright as a flash, like a silver stream running down the mountain. And so, they called him Silverrun.

ANISE sweet as summer

about Kind and gentle. She is a nurturer who is good with other animals and children. Dislikes conflicts and is timid. Anise startles quite easily but she is trying to become braver. Is self-conscious of her own "plainness".

about Quiet, withdrawn. In her youth she was painfully shy and often stuck to her brother's side. Despite her Tidewalker lineage, Darkling Plain has little interest in the sea, or the harsh lifestyle they lead. She has outgrown her anxiety but retains her solitude. Hard to talk too. She's a better listener than she is a talker.

about A glutton. Her bright coloring is a source of pride for her. Despite being a totoma, she was born and raised in the swamp. Unlike some other swamp-totoma, she has absolutely no interest in the totoma homeland. Likes swimming and fishing.
naming She ate carp from the swamp waters so much as a child, for it was her favorite food. Little Blue, they used to call her, for her little blue ears. But when she grew up no one called her Little Blue. They saw the bright orange of her coat, and the slight shimmer in her scales, and they laughed and said "You have become like the carp you love to eat, bright and shiny."
