The monster was indeed going down, the others were hitting into it, and Ofelia let out a rebel yell before she hit the sides of her hands together. Rue started to blaze, her voice cackling inside Ofelia's skull, and together the pair moved up and started wailing into the creature. She was getting injured in the process, sure, but man it felt good to hit things.
YES YES YES MORE MORE MORE MORE. Rue's voice grew louder and louder with each punch Ofelia released, her strikes strong and heavy thanks in part to the FEAR that her partner had tasted. It was like they were just having a good time, punching away at a punching bag rather than at something that could have killed them. The fear that the teen should have been feeling at the situation, the fear she might have been feeling if she properly understood, was completely gone.
"Ehehehehehehe! Go go go go go!" Ofelia ended the attack with a kick from her boot, sending the monster sailing backwards. It had felt amazing to pound so much damage in and for a change the hunter trainee felt relief. She'd been hitting so weak lately, or missing altogether, so to punch down her sorrows had been a delight. "More! Ah wanna tear it down som'ore!"

At the end of the Deather's Charge Attack, Before could make out the portal from the corner of his eye! "Good job, Al! Totes awesome!" he cheered, holding his wheel out to act as a shield as he tried to usher Al towards the portal. "Go on! Move it! Path's clear for you!" he ordered and was about to call for Ofelia when he saw the Sunny continue to tear at the hounds.

He inwardly sighed, she was a Sunny, this was their job but, "Priorities, Offie! Get your butt through that portal, NOW!" he yelled, reaching out for the Sunny to try to pull her towards their ticket back to Deus.Marushii We're exiting unless you still have a finale in mind?

Aleister didn't need to be told twice, he was moving with Before to the portal, pausing when Offie was still attacking. "Offie. Can we please get out of hereeee....?"
He whimpered slightly, "What if Mama.... whatever it is comes." There had to be a reason there were so many of these things, he still had Pookie out ready to swing at something if it tried to bite at him.

"But it's not down yet! Ah wanna make sure it can't get up anymore, Ah wanna make sure it stays dead!" Ofelia didn't really like being grabbed at by Before and she yanked her arm away, glaring at him against the blood that happened to be running down her face from her arm. She was having fun, this was so much fun, but to be told she had to stop downright pissed her off. Rue was in complete agreement, she wanted to taste more FEAR, but the sounds of desperation coming from both boys was sadly winning over the Sunny's favor.
They both looked so desperate, why so scared? Ofelia thought it was fun, she was having fun, so why did they need to go? It wasn't like they were dead yet and these things couldn't possibly take down three strong hunters. She wanted to fight, wanted to destroy them, but instead she cursed loudly and turned to follow the others. "Ah won' ferget how ya made me stop havin' mah fun." Her words towards before were low, deep, and her look was serious.
Ofelia had enjoyed it.

As the trainees paused to bicker amongst themselves, the Fear-created shadow seized the opportunity. They did not waste any time in darting in and attacking the trainees. It seemed that the trainees had better make up their minds soon. After all, if they were going to stand there and discuss whether or not to go into the portal in the middle of a battle right in front of something that was going to attack them then that was their decision. Take -10 damage!

Alesiter squawked when he was bit. "AKKKKKK...... COME ON LETS GO BEFORE WE DIE!"
He tried to tug the other two behind him but if they followed or not was his problem. He planned on either dragging them with him or letting go and running right through the portal to the other side. I'll get them help. If they want to stay there. They can't be mad if I send someone back!!!HP 7. crying [Exit Stage Left.]

s**t. s**t! Before was glad that Al had the sense to know when the hell to GTFO! Offie, however, in all her stubborn attempt at guilt-tripping him so she could stay behind had forced Before to just grab her by the coat. He strained to pull her into the portal before he could, leaders are supposed to be the first to enter and the last to leave.
"MOVE MOVE MOVE MOVE MOVE!!! ohgodI'mgonnagetaherniafromthis MOVE!!!!"

Boooooo it was just getting interesting. Ofelia was about to start complaining when a sudden shove from Before sent her in, not before everyone took what felt like a really strong blow from behind. The sun trainee staggered into the portal, tripping over her own legs as her FEAR shield threatened to shatter itself from the impact. Inside her head Rue was screaming that it was unfair, that she wanted to go back and taste more FEAR, but they were inside now and there was nothing that could be done.
Maybe once they got back Ofelia could ask why she wasn't allowed to play further?
