"You will like her. We are sure of this. The Calamitas likes company when she can have it, though she is very lonely, the Calamitas..."

How much of that was out of choice, though? Part of it was out of oddity, Dormin suspected.

Gideon sat there and stared at the staring creature for a while, completely confused. They just made the contract? But...he hadn't made his wish. Maybe he didn't have to? Maybe the contract knew the wish of his heart.Yeah, that sounded like it would work.

His focus went back to the ladies, before noting the disgruntling Poms was still approaching Eva. It didn't seem to know when to quit, did it? He huffed and trotted over to place himself between the Poms and Eva and Kari. "Stop. Now. Come closer, and you will be hurt." His claws came out as part of the threat, along with bared teeth.

Wait, was the staring thing talking to Kari? Should he tell her not to listen or...?way about it."

'Skully' was making a strange (but possibly happy?) gurgling noise in the back of his throat now as he inched ever closer. Or wait, they were calling him thing? Was that his name? Thing?

Thing continued on his way towards the two females and the male who was using big words that Thing didn't understand. The fact that they all looked very unhappy with his approach did not even register with the slow zombiefied poms. What he did understand were the sudden words being directed at him by the Princess. Stop. Stay. These were familiar words that he somewhat understood, especially when spoken with such command. He suddenly stopped in his movements, hunkering down to the ground with ears drooping. His tail still twitched, and he whined a little, trying to inch his way forward just the tiniest bit if he thought nobody was looking at him. But now the male was telling him to stop as well, and his head finally lowered to the ground sadly.

Nobody wanted him. Thing was so unloved.

Merel watched as a rather shiny looking minipet had fallen into the pit after losing balance. Poor thing but she didn't have any particular interest in helping her out she wasn't a mouse let alone a friend.

Instead she decided to climb her way down into the pit and nestle her way under the mushrooms, now that her temper had cooled off she was bored and looking what else there was in the mushroom pit to look at.

Merel paid the sparkling mini no mind as she weaved in and out of the mushrooms. It was apparent that some of the minipets had eaten or at least nibbled on causing the black mouse to winkle her nose in disgust. Despite their smell she wouldn't have eaten them, her preference was nibbling on cookies with tea.

Merel let out a large squeak as a flash of paws leapt out towards her, she wanted to run but her brain to her little feet were not in coordination.

"You really do not wish to," she assured Kari. To the boil protecting them she called out, "thank you ever so much." Then she glanced at the creature the zomboil had brought. And sighed. It looked sad, and as pitiful as it was it had stopped. "Stay. Good boy, stay." Was it even a boy? She had no idea, but she should at least praise him a bit for what he had done.

On the other side of the fence a certain mantodae was approaching, perhaps not as quickly as he would like but that could only be expected, hampered as he was by the zomboil he was all but dragging after him. Alexander was asking him about his conversation with Mademoiselle Temes, and he did not plan on just avoiding the question, no matter how much he wished to...but it could wait until after he had seen Princess Eva. When he approached the fence he noticed that his Princess was with several other pets, and seemed to be doing fine. But when she looked up and their eyes locked it stole his breath away. She looked so...so perfect with her ribbon on and surrounded by lesser pets that only enhanced her beauty. He may have unconsciously squeezed Alexander's hand as he gazed on her adoringly.

Princess Eva excused herself and quickly made her way to the fence, skirting around the creature. Her boil was here. She was almost to the fence before she noticed the zomboil, who did not smell nearly as bad as usual. Miracles happened after all. And he was holding on to her boil's hand. Well that was not acceptable, not in the least. With a small "Yip!" she looked up at her boil, clearly voicing her wishes.

Yin happily obliged, letting go of the zomboil's hand (they would not get lost or separated over here and crouching down the scoop his Princess up. He held her to his chest, fussing over her a bit before turning to Alexander. "I told her about Princess Eva of course," it was rather hard for him to talk normally and not coo at the rabo, though he did scratch under her chin and then went to work rubbing lightly behind her ears with the hand that was not holding her against his chest. "Is she not the most magnificent ghoul here today?" Princess Eva purred her approval.

He laughed delightedly at her, which led to the other half of the question. "And as for someone in love with me? Who would even think about me in such a manner?" He chuckled again, then looked thoughtful for a moment. "Except for you Princess Eva. You love me, correct?" He received a nuzzled response and grinned before reluctantly setting her back into the pen. "This was a marvelous idea Alexander, was there something that you wished to do? They have video games," even if they made even less sense than the one they had played at his house, "and there are refreshments too if you are hungry. Oh! And how was your time with Miss Xiu-Ying?"

"Yes, we think that would be an excellent plan, a meeting of the Calamitas with your Reaper, yes." Dormin approved whole heartedly, seeming content to medle as only minipets truly could. The masters liked to think they meddled in the affairs of each other, but as it stood, they didn't know how to meddle as they did.

Why else were minipets stubborn? Why else would they purposely lead their masters into 'trouble' of sorts? It was all in their plans.

"It will be a fine meeting indeed."
