With a golden sun shining high over head, a swift breeze flew through the mountains surrounding Kumogakure, shifting the dense, ever-present clouds the village was named for as it snaked its way towards the village proper. Gusting past a lone tree that had managed to flourish despite the rugged environment, the breeze tore away a number of leaves to join it on its journey. As the wind flew down the final cliff face and into the busy streets of the Village Hidden in the Clouds, it breezed past a young man, rustling his azure locks. Stopping where he stood the young man lifted his gaze skyward, his clear, blue eyes like two frozen pools as they followed the leaves on their unwilling journey.

Fixing his stare straight ahead once more, Kane continued on his way towards the Raikage's office. He wore a long, dark-blue coat, white snowflakes embroidered from his cuffs to his elbows, and beneath his coat he wore a fine white shirt. His white pants were also well cut, widening out at the bottom for allow freedom of movement. He swaggered with confident arrogance of the nobly born, long, flowing strides carrying him swiftly through the crowded streets to his destination. Rounding the corner, Kane stopped to sweep his gaze up and down the length of the imposing Raikage's Tower, its peak hidden behind the clouds it soared above. Mouth twisting into a smile that never touched his eyes, Kane made his way across the courtyard to the large double doors barring entry into the tower.

Pushing the doors open easily on their well-oiled hinges, Kane stepped into the room and pushed them closed behind him as his cool gaze swept over the occupants of the room. Dozens of people were sitting in the towers' lobby, most waiting to proposition the Kage with a mission for the village to perform, many wearing impatient scowls. Meeting the expectant gaze of the woman sitting at the lobby's main desk, Kane ignored her as his eyes sought out the stairs. He was no commoner here to wait on the Kage. He would have his audience, and he would have it now. Sweeping through the room towards the stairs, Kane ignored the irritated stares of those patiently waiting for their chance to meet the Raikage. As he took his first step up the stairs however, Kane felt a sharp tug on the right sleeve of his coat. Stopping with one foot on the stairs, Kane turned to see who had the gall to stop him, his eyes as cold and furious as a winter storm.

Taking an involuntary step back from that cold gaze, the woman who had stood at the desk now stared at him with uncertainty in her eyes. There was a slight tremor in her voice as she said,
"You, you have to have an appointment to see the Raikage... sir." Mouth twisting into a sneer, Kane's voice leaked venom as he simply asked, "And will you be the one to stop me?" Snatching his sleeve away from the woman's limp hand, Kane turned back to the stairs and began his ascent, the woman already forgotten. Reaching the top of the winding stairs, Kane stopped at the door to the Raikage's office and lifted his right hand to rap lightly on the door. Lifting his hand up in front of his face, Kane admired his new, fingerless glove, a metal plate with symbol of Kumo worked into the back of it, as he waited to be granted entry.

--------------------------------

((Sorry, I didn't get a notification that you had posted here like I should have. Why doesn't your character have a background?))
Nagisa Aburame walked quietly through the doorway, staring calmly at the crowd before her. Had they known her identity she would surely have trouble passing through the lobby as most clients who would seek out a village tended to be in a rush. No longer adorned with her heavy cloak, but a tight-fitting turtleneck, Nagisa was one of very few Aburame whose face was known. This was not something the Raikage particularly enjoyed, but being known as a village jounin made it easier for her to keep her true role a secret. Pushing her way through the dense crowd she recognized several faces of Nobles (or their servants), who usually provided good training missions for Genin, but there were several unfamiliar faces as well.

One in particular was a young boy, who had walked past the lines of waiting visitors and straight up the stairs. She followed him silently, observing him without standing out from the other workers in the building. He was dressed well, probably from a good family, but also wore the tell-tale signs of a shinobi. On his right hand he wore a plate bearing the village insignia. It stood out, but not quite as much as the usual headbands. He must be one of the new graduates. I've met, and even worked with most of the active shinobi, besides most of them are out on mission. As he pushed his way past the secretary Nagisa calmed her and the hidden ANBU with a quiet hand gesture. They would be ready if needed, but she suspected the boy simply believed to have a larger priority than the people who would provide his paycheck. Perhaps he came from a clan? Most would teach a certain level of respect. Possible just a rich family then.

When the boy finally reached the door, Nagisa stepped behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hello my name is Nagisa Aburame. I am one of the village's Jounin and am the reason noone's pressed a knife to your throat yet." She stepped out of his immediate reach in case he did something stupid, but her voice was calm. "The Raikage is currently rather busy as you no doubt have seen, and I Will be the next person to see her. In the mean time let me explain the proper etiquette. First you inform the secretary, as I have just done. She will beep the Raikage so that she knows the next visitor has been cleared, and how urgent the visit is. Then you wait in the reception office rather than in front of the door." It was a pretty straightforward procedure. If someone tried to visit without being cleared they would be stopped by the ANBU. It was a good way to ensure a meeting, but hardly a pleasant one, and usually not with the Kage. Standing in front of the door was discouraged as a safety so noone could listen in on other's meetings. This was mostly a redundant measure due to soundproofing, but it was still protocol. "Would you like to try again before matters get worse?"

(Sorry for the delay, been having some issues with my class registration and we just got our new schedule last week as well! DX Stupid life, why do you have to be so stressful!

Was going to right up the background, but haven't had the time, I will try and get it up in the next couple of days though

I have started writing for this post already but I have to get to work now, I should have it posted up around 10:00 is tonight though smile )

As he stood waiting on the Kage to call him in, Kane tore his gaze away from the glove he still held up to his face as he felt a soft tap on his shoulder. Turning his body slightly, Kane ran cold, calculating eyes over the woman in front of him. More than a head shorter than himself, the woman barely stood as tall as his chest. Her hair was silky and black, cascading down to to the middle of her back, and framing her face as it fell just above her shoulder, a stark contrast to what little of her pale skin he could see. She had a pretty face, with a nose that was perhaps a touch too small, and a brow that was a might too large to be considered truly beautiful. Most of her body was covered by form-fitting black cotton, plain and boring, perfect for someone wanting to go unnoticed; the only article she wore that might draw the eye was a navy sash around her waist adorned with the crest of Kumo on a metal plate. No, she was the sort of person your eye would pass over and not see. The only truly distinguishing feature in an otherwise plain face was a pair of dazzling jade eyes which held a deep intelligence, the sort of eyes that can see right through a man.

"Hello my name is Nagisa Aburame. I am one of the village's Jounin and am the reason no one's pressed a knife to your throat yet," she said matter of factly before taking a step back, a hint of amusement in her voice. As Kane's icy blue gaze met the woman's own deep green, he could see caution, but there was no fear, as there had been in the woman below. Turning fully to face this Nagisa Aburame, Kane put on a pleasant smile that didn't quite touch his eyes. He didn't know who this diminutive woman was, but he was not so foolish as to assume a threat uttered by a jounin was idle, even if it was veiled.

""The Raikage is currently rather busy as you no doubt have seen, and I Will be the next person to see her. In the mean time let me explain the proper etiquette. First you inform the secretary, as I have just done. She will beep the Raikage so that she knows the next visitor has been cleared, and how urgent the visit is. Then you wait in the reception office rather than in front of the door," Nagisa continued, that feint amusement leaking into her words, "Would you like to try again before matters get worse?"

Letting the threat hang in the air, Kane's smile faded as he held Nagisa's gaze, chilling blue meeting vibrant green. Ice is patient. I am ice. Kane thought to himself, repeating the mantra his father had taught him. Walking forward, Kane was silent as he slid by Nagisa, but that chilly blue gaze remained locked to hers until she was behind him. Clenching his fist and gnashing his teeth as he made the long descent down the tower, Kane fumed on the inside. "You're too full of fire.", Kane could here his father's voice, echoing in his head. Taking a deep, steadying breath, Kane let his hand go limp and his jaw relax. There would come a time when he wouldn't have to stand for such insults, but now was not that time. I am Ice.

Stepping back into the lobby after his trek down the tower, Kane flowed toward the lobby's desk, and the woman seated behind it, an irritated frown furrowing his brow. "I need to see the Raikage for a squad assignment", Kane said coolly.

((Okay, so there are clearly missions to be done. Do you wish to be thrown straight into one or two or would you rather start training? also, do you intend to use the endless possibilities for really lame puns a Hyoton user gets access to?))

Nagisa watched as the boy pushed his way back to the receptionist. He was clearly trying to hold back his anger. He had some measure of respect, It was likely that it was not her rank but the strength it suggested which he feared. Most new Genin felt similar, although few were able to restrain themselves as well as he. Most graduates who made it this far would not have backed down until there was a knife at their throats. She would have to meet with the Academy heads on a calmer day and discuss this growing problem.
Without speaking a word to the boy as he walked back down Nagisa quietly unlocked the office door and slipped inside. As the lights flickered on the short woman slapped a stack of files onto the desk, slipped some "light reading" back onto the bookshelves and buzzed the receptionist. "Please send that boy straight back. I've already explained procedure, and as much as I'd like to make him wait we don't have enough shinobi at the moment to deal with this rush of business."
Stepping out of view provided by the window, Nagisa's hands folded into a simple set of seals and watched her beloved insects pool into the room in front of her. It was a hot morning and she allowed them a brief bit of "play" before calling them to duty with the declaration "Mushi Bunshin". First it was just five or so clusters in the buzzing storm of insects, but eventually they grew, connected, and then formed a shape not unlike a human. Before long a short woman with long black hair, simple clothing, and a Kumogakure sash stepped from the swarm and bowed. For while the clone formed the real Nagisa had adorned herself with the robes of the Raikage. The arms, when loose, hung past her gloved hands and the long robes piled on the ground despite the extra two inches of her platform shoes. Her face and long hair was hidden behind the shroud of the Kage's hat, completing the transformation from Nagisa Aburame to Natsumi Rei, ruler of the industrial shinobi in the clouds. The Mushi Bunshin then left the door open as she made her way back down into the Lobby. Should the boy bother speaking to her she would only respond "The Raikage is waiting".

------------------------------

The receptionist listened to the call and said nothing, despite how she would have like to speak out. Shortly after the call she saw the boy and heard his demands, for lack of a better word. He did at least try to hold himself back. Without even attempting to do the same she snarled back at him. "Alright go ahead I've cleared you." Normally she would have asked for more information but he had been called in. Besides she already knew exactly who he was, and what he most likely wanted courtesy of the Kumogakure's shining ANBU forces and the personnel files in her hands. A recent graduate from the Academy.

(Preferably I could get some training first. And yes, yes I do mrgreen )

At the receptionist's curt reply, Kane put on his most arrogant smile before dipping into a bow as he said in a mocking tone, "Thank you so much for your assistance, you've been most helpful." Rising out of his bow, Kane chuckled humorlessly at the outraged look on the woman's face as he turned back towards the stairs. A part of him was irritated at being forced to walk pointlessly back down to the lobby, but at least the Raikage was not making him wait, and with any luck he could begin his real training soon. Making his ascent, Kane took care composing his face into the picture of icy calm. He had no way of knowing what the Raikage would be like, but it wouldn't serve to let his emotions get the better of him.

Taking the final step across the threshold of the tower's top floor, Kane lifted a single curious brow as his aquamarine gaze was drawn to Nagisa, standing outside the door to the Kage's office.
Curious, I thought that she had business with the Kage. Why would she be standing guard now, and in plain sight like a common bodyguard? Curious, Kane thought to himself as he passed by the woman. Tucking aside the abnormality for a moment, Kane composed his face once more before opening the door to the Raikage's office.

Stepping into the room, Kane's eyes were immediately drawn to the enormous window situated behind the Raikage's desk, taking up much of the wall in which it was set, to give a breathtaking view of the village. At least it would, if the clouds dispersed enough to see past. Closing the door behind him, Kane flowed across the room, his gaze sweeping admiringly over the bookshelves lining the wall before settling on the person he had come here to see. Clothed in the robes which marked her station, it was difficult for Kane to tell much about the woman other than that she was in fact a woman, her hat and shroud hiding everything but her eyes from view. But as the woman's eyes met his own, Kane couldn't help but furrow his brow in confusion.

Her eyes were a dazzling jade, an intelligence gleaming in their depths as she studied him studying her. They were the type of eyes that could see right through a man.
Surely she isn't... but those eyes. Those are not the type of eyes that one sees twice in the same day. Not in different heads... Kane thought to himself, stopping where he stood half-way across the room. It seemed too simple a mistake for a Kage to make; after all, even he could change his appearance with a simple jutsu. All the same, it was a curiosity. They may be the same person, or perhaps not. In either case, accusing the Kage of hiding her identity would be foolish at best. Let her keep her secrets. Perhaps it will be a useful secret to know one day.

It took only the briefest of moments for Kane to begin making connections, and just as quickly he regained control of his features, his face becoming a mask of cool composure once more. Sweeping into a deep bow, Kane held it as he said i a passionless tone, "Greetings Lady Raikage, my name is Kane Hyoko, it is a pleasure to finally meet you."

Nagisa watched the boy enter quietly, waiting for him to speak his piece. She wouldn't mention the earlier mishap and he didn't seem the type to point out his own mistakes. If there was a repeat incident he would have to face a more direct punishment. As he stepped cautiously into the office he took his time checking his surroundings, admiring the office and then sizing up the Raikage. This was an intelligent way to behave in new surroundings, especially for a shinobi, although there wasn't much important information to be gained from the scene. Nagisa scratched her nose through the shroud and resisted the urge to point out the guest chair. Kumo nin were getting too lax lately and some formality was just what they needed to remember their place.

Tweaking her voice slightly the Raikage spoke quietly. He would have to pay close attention to hear her words. "You are one of the few who graduated from the academy this semester, congratulations." She opened the bottom right drawer of her desk and pulled out two folders. There were two notable graduates, Kane who stood before her, and Shikaku who managed to pass with the worst scores since the academy was re-established. She opened the folder on Kane. "First I would like to verify some of my information. What is your age?"
"Are you a member of any clan or do you possess any bloodline of which you are aware?"
"Has any member of your immediate family ever reached Jounin status or served in the Kumogakure special forces?"
She asked each giving just enough time for the boy to answer before moving onto the next. Then she finished with the big question "Why are you a shinobi?" It was a popular question, but especially in his case an important question. Many became shinobi wishing for status, or power. Kane was very likely one of the former from the way he treated others. There were three major things she wished to make clear before the meeting was over, and the fact that shinobi are servants not kings was one of them.

(so sorry for the wait, internet's been all wonky at my house the past week sweatdrop )

After a moment without a return introduction, Kane lifted his eyes to see the Raikage scratching her nose through the veil covering her face, her eyes drifting towards the chair sitting in front of her desk. Brow furrowing slightly in irritation, Kane realized that he would not be sitting during this meeting. I don't know what I had expected, but so be it. Lowering his eyes back to the ground, Kane softened his brow to regain his icy demeanor.

Another moment passed with Kane still bowing before he heard the Raikage's first words,
"You are one of the few who graduated from the academy this semester, congratulations." Rising from his bow, Kane resisted the urge to smile as he walked forward to at least stand by the seat he was not offered, keeping his face blank as he met the Kage's gaze. Watching silently as she began rummaging through her desk, Kane's eyes followed as she pulled out two folders to lay on her desk. Opening one of the folders, she kept her eyes down as she said in a level tone, "First I would like to verify some of my information. What is your age?"

Kane stared down at the symbol of Kumo worked into the front of her hat for a moment as he thought over her words. "Fifteen", Kane said smoothly, his face belying no emotion as he tried to catch a glance at the contents of his folder. She said she was verifying information, how much does she know then?, Kane wondered, eyes darting away from what little of the folder that was not hidden by the Kage's hat.

"Are you a member of any clan or do you possess any bloodline of which you are aware?", came the Raikage's next question, the question that Kane had feared he would need to skirt around.

"I am a member of the Hyoko clan, though I'm sure that's not the sort of clan you mean. As to whether or not I possess any sort of Kekkai Genkai, not that I'm aware of", Kane lied, his voice passionless. He had expected the question to come up, and so the lie came easily enough. If she was allowed her secrets, then why shouldn't he be allowed his own. If people know your strength, it is a simple thing to make it a weakness, his Father's voice rang in his head.

"Has any member of your immediate family ever reached Jounin status or served in the Kumogakure special forces?"

"I am the first of my family to become a shinobi", replied Kane dryly. He wasn't sure what need the woman had in asking after the members of his family, especially when that information should have been easily available to her, but perhaps she was simply trying to get a sense of his background. A long moment passed with Kane waiting for the Raikage to say something else as she poured over his file. As he began to open his mouth to ask if he would be assigned to a squad now, the Raikage cut him off with a final question.

"Why are you a shinobi?"

Kane let the question hang in the air as he mulled over an answer. This was certainly not the sort of question he had expected, though in truth he should have. His answer, though, was complicated, at best. He had become a shinobi at his Father's insistence, in the hopes that he would be able to lead the Hyoko in their vengeance against the Daimyo of Snow, who had exiled them what seemed so long ago. His own reason, however, was simply to please his father, as was the duty of a loyal son. But what answer should I give... Kane thought to himself, frustration creasing his brow. His father had not prepared him to give an answer to this question, but he could imagine the sort of answer his father would expect.

Finally, Kane opened his mouth to give his answer, allowing the barest hint of emotion creep into his voice,
"I chose to walk this path to find conflict, but I suppose I should explain. I want to grow. I want to become stronger, but real strength cannot be attained without conflict, without struggle. Conflict forces you to grow... or die.

The boy appeared to take his time answering her questions, even those simple as his age. As a shinobi she had learned a lot about deception. Normally pauses were bad, although occasionally people just liked to consider the question before answering it. He no doubt was a little confused why she bothered to ask questions to which she already had the answers. It would help her get used to him as a shinobi and allow her to verify he wasn't going to go rogue like so many before him. He stumbled a bit over the bloodline question, which was curious, but that could mean many things. If he had any ability it would inevitably show sooner or later. "You became a shinobi for conflict. That is a dangerous answer and let me tell you why. First your duties as a shinobi will not always involve fighting, especially in just starting out. We take many missions which range from planting forests to keeping the local Tea fields running." There was fighting on that one, but he didn't need to know that. "I should also remind you that due to our... lenient past we tend to keep a closer eye on any shinobi searching for power. Do know that any shinobi who is declared rogue will be killed if they are lucky." The village was beginning to become known for it's contribution to the rogue community, including two particularly dangerous shinobi. As a result it was her job to make it clear that s**t wasn't going to fly anymore.

After a short pause to ease the moment she spoke again in a slightly kinder tone. "Keep that in mind. So, what can I help you with? Do you require training or would you like to start work?"

((Sheesh I need to add some more years to her age... she sounds like a grumpy old lady!))

(Meh, I didn't get that impression from her words, so no worries smile I'm still not really sure if she's actually looking at Kane or not though, I've just been assuming no since you didn't say she's looked from the folders or anything)

Kane listened to the Raikage's reply to his final answer, not surprised that she did not fully understand his words, just as he hadn't when his tutor had first shared them with him. Shaking his head, no expression marring his features, he said in a passionless tone, "You mistake me, Lady Raikage, I do not simply seek out fights, though that is one of conflict's many forms. In any struggle there is conflict, whether a struggle against an opponent, or the struggle in working the earth, though, in truth, tending to the forests and fields does not seem like the work of shinobi. Any common laborer could do as much." He did not know if his words would alleviate any fear she had of him defecting. That she did fear defectors was obvious by her talk of rogues, but, in the end, he supposed it didn't much matter, so long as he could continue down this path he had chosen. "As to how you can help me, I was hoping to be assigned to a squad so that I might begin my training. I would like to meet my squad and Sensei before starting any work with them."
PostPosted: Wed Aug 22, 2012 12:40 pm

((sorry to ignore your wishes, but it's a perfect mission opportunity. This mission takes place in the village center)
We do not currently run using a squad system as your teachers may have led you to believe. Because of our limited numbers we need to custom build teams to fit the mission at hand rather than build rigid squads, however if you wish to start your training then..." Suddenly her desk buzzed and Nagisa remained silent for a moment. It must be a quick matter for the secretary to interrupt their meeting. It could be anything from a minor memo to a full blown attack, although the latter was unlikely without other signs. A short man pushed through the door and dropped a small folder on the Raikage's desk and left the room wordlessly. Nagisa closed the graduatio folders and opened the new one reading it quietly and holding it so the visitor could not.

"There appears to be a mission suited perfectly to one such as yourself. As you may already know, Kumogakure has attracted some very high class individuals who have opened up shop in our village. A local fine dining restaurant owned by one such family appears to have an issue which they may need help in fixing. Two individuals are causing trouble at a very high class restaurant. The owners are convinced that the diners are going to attempt to dine and run, as they are not likely to be able to pay for their food." She handed the folder to Kane, which showed rough sketches of the pair. "You cannot confront them within the restaurant nor in front of it so that the customers are not chased away should things turn nasty."

In the midst of the Raikage's reply to Kane's request, a sudden buzzing sound was emitted by the woman's desk, followed by the entrance of a diminutive man clutching a folder in both hands. Kane's eyes narrowed as he watched the man approach the Raikage's desk, what could possibly be so important that it would interrupt his meeting? Turning to leave, the small man met Kane's chilling gaze, and shrank back at the sight, quickly scurrying past and out of the room. Turning his gaze on the Raikage, who had lifted the folder in front of her, angling it out of his view, Kane realized that his hand had curled into a fist. Ice, Kane repeated in his head, and with an effort, Kane relaxed his hand and carefully composed his features back to a cool impassiveness.

The owners are convinced that the diners are going to attempt to dine and run, as they are not likely to be able to pay for their food", the Raikage said before handing Kane the folder,"You cannot confront them within the restaurant nor in front of it so that the customers are not chased away should things turn nasty."

A mixture of surprise and curiosity breaking through his careful facade, Kane took the folder and began raking his eyes over the papers within. In addition to the details of the assignment, including the name of the establishment, the Golden Clam, the folders contained rough sketches of the two would-be thieves. All that Kane could really gather was that one appeared to be a well-to-do lad, while the other was garbed in barely more than rags. An odd pairing if he had ever seen one. Not a week out of the academy and they're already sending me to work alone, I wonder if I should be pleased?, Kane thought to himself as he lifted his azure gaze to meet the Raikage's own brilliant jade. "The problem will soon be resolved. If you'll pardon me," Kane said in a level before bowing slightly. Rising from his bow as he turned to leave, creating a small flourish with the tail of coat, Kane strode across the room and out the door.

As he left the tower, Kane continued straight down main street and towards the heart of the city. He of course knew the the Golden Clam, his family were frequent patrons to all of the fine dining establishments in Kumogakure. It was no substitute for the clan chefs they had left behind in snow country, but it was palatable. Both of the suspect thieves appeared to be little more than children, so he doubted it would come to blows, though if it did he would have to be careful. Two still outnumbered one, even if they were smaller.

Nagisa watched quietly as the boy took his leave with a smile. The task was mostly impossible. Timmy the Quirk was the biggest failure on the village payroll, at least under the title of shinobi. While he had mastered all of the Ninjutsu below A rank (and within his elemental limitations) he had failed miserably in every other area. His first mission resulted in two dead dogs. His second a house fire. His third... Needless to say he didn't get a fourth. Even so, he was far above any Genin's jutsu mastery. Fortunately he rarely played serious, even when evenly matched. The other person was not a shinobi so Kane would return with at least one capture surely. However the point of the mission was to determine how he handles failure more than anything. She would of course pay their debt and Timmy would find himself in her office before long to see how he can repay her kindness.

A parrot flew through the village towards the Raikages office with tape wrapped around it's beak. By the time it reached the office it appeared to be tired from flying such a long distance. Once he spotted the window it began to fly faster only to hit the glass with full force and falling on the windowsill. The parrot got up and looked at the Raikage with an angry expression and his insults muffled because of the tape.

--------------------------------
The Raikage had spent the day dealing with the mob of "customers" from downstairs and was feeling very spent. She had spoken to a group of architects about the improvements of Shimogakure, denied several requests to shut down the factories, petitioned a team of scientists to find cleaner means of wast disposal, and logged several non-urgent missions. It was time for the switch. Most of the important paperwork had been taken care of, the rest had made it into two piles. Those Nagisa had to see to personally, and those she trusted her double to deal with. Within an hour she would be replaced.

After speaking with a group of ANBU, The Raikage pushed a small button on her desk locking the door and stepped to the side of the room and out of view of the office removing the robe and hat, revealing her normal clothing. After depositing the uniform in a hidden drawer the Raikage vanished and Nagisa emerged from the office. It was lucky that the kage robe was made of a thin material or she would have been sweating like mad. Instead it was simply uncomfortable. She would have to have improved air conditioning installed. It would of course make the office too cold for most folks, but that might help them get to the point faster so it was a win win. Nagisa Aburame nodded to the receptionist, who gave her a nod in return and then left the building. It seemed the young Aburame had passed her own examination and now was the third graduate from the academy. As a fellow clan member she deserved a visit from Nagisa before she met the kage.

Some artists paint or sing of peace...I?

((Enters from iHeart Medical Center))

To be honest, Shizuna had her doubts as to whether Hasaki would actually follow her or not. She wasn't going to force him to if that was what he decided but to her surprise the young genin did follow her. Smiling, Shizuna would swiftly make her way down the crowded Kumo streets avoiding contact with anyone in the crowd. Her destination was clear, the Raikage Tower. Once there, Shizuna would gather some relatively easy and mind distracting missions for Hasaki and herself to do. This way the male will be able to move from his depressing thoughts while performing something productive. 'Productivity and the feeling of usefulness is the start of change...'

Arriving at the grand building that was the Raikage Tower, Shizuna would take a moment to make sure Hasaki was not lost in the crowd before entering the building. Avoiding the receptionist, Shizuna would head over to the mission board and look it over for some current missions. 'Hm...these look good...' Plucking several mission tabs from the board, Shizuna would than head over to registration to put both Hasaki and her name down for them. Once approved, Shizuna would make her way back to Hasaki. This time though, she would take a moment to write him a short message - "Come with me. We're going to do some missions." Not letting him in on what missions they would be doing just yet, Shizuna gestured for him with her hands to follow her once more. Exiting the tower, Shizuna would head back towards the crowd, this time heading towards the village's shopping district.
