Percy Mikelovitch
"Wh-Wha?" Percy had looked up as... Kathy? No, Kasie! Had entered the room. He had only briefly glanced at her before returning to his notebook. She was the other girl who had been in the library when he had changed forms, and he was just about as interested in explaining himself to her as he was to Angela. So of course, he tried to tune her out and be unnoticeable... and, as usual, he failed. Miserably.
"Wh-wha?... Oh! Um... Hello... Kasie, right? Nice to see you again." Percy said politely. Well, there was not getting out of it now... or was there? Kasie didn't even mention the incident... But he knew she had seen him change. Maybe Tshila was right... about people really not caring about his "Ability" after all. Wouldn't that be something?
"I... I've been doing well" Percy smiled warmly, focusing on Kasie's nose, attempting to follow the rapid stream of words flowing from her mouth. I... It's just a notebook. I was seeing if I could write a song, or poetry or something while I was waiting for class to start... But meh, it's not working out so well." He shrugged lightly. "Er... How's it going with you? I didn't know you had this class."
Well duh. He thought to himself. That was an obvious thing to say now wasn't it?...

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... Angela lifted her head when Kasie came in and started rambling per her usual M.O. "Oh...yeah." Angela glanced down at her hands. "Well, they're okay I guess. Um, just really sore. Not really something the infirmary can help with, I guess?" She laughed sheepishly, looking at around to see who else had come in. She'd heard several others and noted that Veith was there, as well as the boy from her art class.
"And I sort of transferred in recently when there were some other scheduling conflicts. Is it...normal for the teacher not to show up?"Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’ - A strange complaint to come
Wow, it really has been a while since they met since it took Kasie a moment to actually remember the strange quirks Percy had such as staring at everything but her eyes and sprouting a bigger chest than she and Angela combined. Eh, she's seen stranger, but it would be nice to know how to go from flat-chested to ba-bam!
"That's good to hear, and the same goes for me too." Kasie returned the smile. "The writing sounds cool to do. Me? I don't have an ounce of rhythm, rhyme, or whatever you call it, but it's still fun to mess around. It's like those moments where things randomly come to you when you least expect it, but when you actually want to do something, nothing hits you." She was such a babbler, and that was fine by her because she still had more to add on. With a teasing grin, she poked fun at the obvious. "Of course, I do. I didn't know that you have this class either. Same with Angela!"
She looked back over at Angela and sympathetically grinned. "I know what you mean by that. I have to head into the boiler room to fix up my leg during any breaks I get, and boy, does that boring."
"As for the teacher thing, isn't that a norm for all the teachers? Well, for this one specifically, we don't exactly see her until the very end of class."

Veith glanced at Kasie when she addressed him suddenly. He was about to reply when she awkwardly added in a "um yeeah" but much more longer. Veith blinked. What was this all about? "Yes. It's been some time. I wonder what was the cause. I doubt schoolwork was the issue." Veith said.
Another student came in and everyone in the room seemed to know each other. Veith must have been too busy studying to even keep up to date with all the new people. He vaguely knew Angela but not the new student at all. From the conversations, he figured that the by's name was Percy.
"I think it's been an off week." Veith added in about the conversation about the teachers. "Well, hopefully the... offness will wear off and we can return to our normal schedules."
Veith glanced at the one named Percy and gave a polite nod to him. "And I haven't met you yet. My name is Veith." Urgh... was he supposed to add that typical 'nice to meet you?' or can Veith just leave it like that? He'll leave it like that. The pause was already too long for him to say it without making it sound unnatural.

Percy shrugged. "Yeah... the last time I had this class the teacher was super late. It was a shame really, I'm rather fond of mythology... I find it... ah... most interesting."
He relaxed slightly. Kasie certainly didn't seem as though she had been bothered by "the incident" As Percy was now calling it in his mind. She obviously remembered him, so she must just not be calling attention to the fact that she had seen him change... something that he was most grateful for.
Percy turned when Veith introduced himself and nodded in return. "Percy Mikelovitch," He said. Well this was nice. the first real bit of interaction with another boy that Percy had had since arriving at this school. He smiled politely. "I think you're right about it being an off week... my english class was cancelled last period. I wonder if there's something going on with the teachers? like... an illness, or a strike or something?" He shrugged. "eh.. probably not."

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... "I can't quite understand the purpose of this class," Angela said. "It is studying things that Humans consider mythological but considering Humans would consider Kasie and I to be, you know, mythological...then shouldn't the class just be more about magical races or something? It seems a little offensive to call it mythology. It's like telling half the student body they're not real."
Not that she cared overly, or was particularly offended but, really, the logical had always eluded her. She'd only taken the class when a scheduling conflict forced her to rearrange her classes.
"At any rate, if the teacher is always late, it doesn't seem we'll be doing much learning anyway..."Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...

Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________A security guard? Teaching a class? Well that wasn't something he was really looking forward to, but when he walked in and saw Angela, he felt happy and sad. Whenever he said something, she always had something else to say and sometimes he couldn't really keep up with all her words and talking and she often used terms that did not go well with Tarik. Terms that Tarik didn't know.
But he was asked to substitute the class. Well, perhaps watch them. He didn't have much to teach them but he could try to give them something to do. "I am Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid. I will be substituting today." Tarik announced to the class as he strode confidently to the front of the room. "Do whatever you do in this class." Tarik said with a wave of his hand and a very genuine and triumphant grin.
Yes, that should do the trick. He was the best substitute ever._________________________________________ "My greatness is revealed only when I'm naked." - Prince Ludwig

Susan Chang Mythology. Susan had not yet been to this class. As she entered the room, she saw Percy and Angela. She approached Percy. "Hey Percy, didn't know you were in this class too" she said and giggled.
Was Susan in every one of Angela's classes? It seemed that way.

.:l Kasie Harper l:.
”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’ - A strange complaint to come
Kasie pondered upon what Percy and Angela mentioned, speaking her thoughts outloud. "I know what you mean by that. Well, I was a human too, so I never would have expected awesome creatures I hear from fairytales to be real. I'm really glad to be a part of Rosentale now. Hm, why don't humans hear of other creatures more often? You know... that way we can not be racist?"
"C-Cause? What? It's not like I'm trying to purposely avoid you because that would be silly and immature of me to do so just because you have a very intimate relationship with Markus." Oops. That one slipped out. She didn't really mean to answer Veith. That was why she was trying to distract herself with Angela and Percy! Plus, she panicked. She thought Veith was catching on. Well, he will now. "Because.... I'm not."
As a sub entered, Kasie looked over and recognized him from the library. Yes, she was changing the topic yet again. Tarik was Angela's friend no? Pffft, he was a pretty cool friend if he allowed them to do what they want.

"Well, I would suggest a study session to at least make up all the time we lost, but then it would be pointless to have teachers if we did that. I'm sure they'll figure it out. But if you want, we can always complain about it and have their paychecks drastically lessened." Veith said with a shrug. He didn't really mind the teachers' lateness since Veith mostly studied on his own anyways.
Angela did bring up a good point about mythology. All the myths that he'd heard of were actually all in fact true. So why was there a mythology class? Why was it called mythology? "What exactly is mythical then when you think about it that way?" Veith asked Angela. "So far, everything that I thought was mythical was kind of proved... not mythical at all."
He stiffened at Kasie's remark. "Of course I'm not having some kind of affair with Markus. That guy likes to joke around? You do remember when he wanted to tease you right? Apparently all he really wants is a good show. Just stop thinking about it already. I actually want to forget too." Veith had his share of trauma from the experience. He even resorted to carrying around pepper spray. But that's a secret.
The substitute walked into the classroom as well as a straggler. Well... the sub was useless. Veith sighed. Even if he did ask the sub to teach something, he wasn't sure if it was worthy to learn.

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... GAH! What was he doing here? Angela resisted the urge to flail and instead focused on hiding her bandaged hands from view. Then again, this was Tarik. He wasn't exactly the brightest light in the harbor. He probably wouldn't even notice her hands were injured, much less have the attention span to listen to her explain why.
So...all was well.
She sighed slightly and shook her head when he basically told them to do whatever they wanted (though she was pretty sure he hadn't quite meant it that way). Really? Well done, Tarik.
"Perhaps we should petition for change," Angela said, only slightly teasing. "We could have the journalism club write up an article about discrimination and prejudice and all that. Actually...that might be a really good article to write, all things considered...."
She watched the exchange between Kasie and Veith. What on earth was Kasie babbling about? She honestly had no idea and it seemed Veith was...disputing her rather odd claims. Bloody hell. Their relationship was almost as screwed up as most of hers. She sighed a little. "well, I'm honestly not sure what I would consider mythological. Perhaps some of the older, archaic pantheons? Or perhaps the class could even study why some things that are real--like faeries or ghosts--eventually become myths in the first place. Like, exploring why Humans often have such difficulty accepting the supernatural as real? I don't know...Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...

Percy Mikelovitch
"Oh, hello there." Percy smiled at susan, focusing on her nose. "Yeah I just have a... love of mythical... things, I suppose you'd call them. So I... just had to take this class, you know?" He had quickly switched his terminology in light of the current conversation his classmates were having. They certainly made a good point, it seemed like there was one of everything here at Rosentale. The place made his ability seem normal, and that was odd. From the way his classmates talked, it appeared as though none of them were actually human... Was he the only one? Susan obviously wasn't, or at least, not all the way? Apparently Kasie used to be? It was all very interesting.
"I... I'm just in the class so as to learn more about the creatures and people that I used to think just belonged to myth." He said hesitantly, joining in the discussion. "I mean, now that I know a, say, werewolf or a genie aren't just creatures from the fantasy books I read, I'd like to know more about what they're really like you know? So... ah... like Kasie said... I can... not be rascist?"
He shrugged, smirking awkwardly before turning back to Susan. "Er... any particular reason that you wanted to take this class?" He asked, focusing on her mouth. The substitute had said to do whatever they usually did in this class... which was, honestly, a complete unknown to Percy. So... might as well just keep conversing yes?

Susan Chang "Yeah I get what you mean. Honestly, I just love mythics. I love learning about it, talking about it. Reading about it. This is my first time in this class, last time, I was sick" Susan said to Percy.
Was the teacher absent today? Did the sub know what to do? Susan had no idea what they did in this class, as it was her first time in this class. She was excited to start off with, but now, she wasn't to sure.

Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________Is this all they do in class? Just talk! Why...! What a boring class? What class was this anyways? Who cares!? The teacher isn't here so he figured he should get these kids doing at least something productive. This chitchattering was pointless like a... a... a woman's words? Er... yes. As pointless as a woman's words!
Wait, they were talking about mythological creatures? Tarik knew of some. Yes. He did. Angela should know better. She was the one who told him. "Wait students." Tarik said as he held up a hand to silence them. It probably wasn't going to work, but he wanted to do it anyways since it was a habit. Darn students should quiet down and respect the teacher anyways. "I know of some creatures that are not real and are definitely of myth. The great Dr. Seuss makes great epic poems of these mythological creatures. I... do not know if they even have a name."
Tarik wished he had Green Eggs and Ham with him to show the weird and not real creatures that were in the book. "They are definitely of myths since they are not real however their use in Dr. Seuss's literature deems them mythical!" _________________________________________ "My greatness is revealed only when I'm naked." - Prince Ludwig

Percy Mikelovitch Percy froze, staring at the substitute while his mind worked to make sense of what the man had just said. His immediate assumption was that the guy was joking, and he almost laughed, but... his tone was so serious. Percy just didn't know what to make of it all.
Fortunately, before things got any weirder, the bell rang, making Percy jump. He sighed in relief. He didn't know what was gonna happen with this strange substitute, but now, he didn't have to worry about it. He hurriedly stuffed his notebook into his knapsack and slung the bag over his shoulder as he stood to leave. "Well, " he began. "It's been a time and a half. I'll see you guys later then..." he smiled at Susan and waved to Kasie, as the other two seemed to be paying him no mind, and walked out of the room.
