I've been trying to stay out of it, attempting to play the neutral thread Mod.
However, I think I can share my two pence while remaining neutral.
Here goes..

Over the course of the last year, I have watched the rise and fall of Gz with much interest, and at times, held bated breath in hopes that Amensu would be able to pull the magazine out of the lows, and hopefully bring production levels to all time highs - which would place the overall rating of Gz, as a functioning publication, at a satisfactory 'Meh' Middle Ground. Not in the red, but not in the green either - just dabbling in black ink.

But then, while GOM was trying to pick up speed in order to keep up with Gz, Amensu began to have crew relation issues. The problem? He didn't seem to know how to properly balance the work loads between staff members, and his ego-guppy was growing far too large for the Gz fish bowl. A Guild Captain is only as good as his support staff, and once they leave, your efficiency rates drop, production comes to a halt, and if the unhappiness of the crew persists, the project shuts down entirely. In this scenario, the CEO of Project Fish Bowl is panicing and looking for a bailout.

So, while the metaphorical Gz plane was in for repairs, other publications took to the skies - some for the first time, others regaining their footing. During this, Gz lost more and more crew due to the attitude they felt was not befitting of Gz's CEO. Other staff stayed on in hopes that he might make a change for the better. And that leads us to today. Yes, there was some embezzling along the way - and someone did it, so why isn't that being looked into more seriously? Usually, people would want to clear their name. Just sayin'..

Conclusion: Gaia-zine will fail in its current state. That I promise. I give it six months of people leaving, and stragglers will hang on until the last, but in the end - there's nothing to stay for. The majority of the staff will go on to better things and others will simply stop writing. Which would be a real shame. My recommendation, Amensu, is that you stand back and take a real hard look at your management plan. I think some changes are in order. Remember, an unhappy ship doesn't sail - so keep the crew happy, and all is well.

Regarding Candii & Gz: Candii was never hired on at Gz. If Candii was, that fact was never made clear - thus why there would have been no activity, and thus would result in termination from Gz. However, this never occurred, because Candii's name was on a PUBLIC WINNERS/LOSERS HIRING LIST. As if not being hired on wasn't depressing and embarrassing enough. Candii then came back to GOM and was taken on, as were several others from the Gz rejected listing - because everyone deserves the right to work for a fan-zine in some degree.

ACTUALLY.. I've blatantly told you repeatedly why I don't like you.. Don't quote what isn't fact. I never EVER said I hate you "for no good reason". I have plenty of reasons for why I don't like you. THAT I will admit to, but not that it's "for no good reason". neutral
