"Well, I don't really know when the baby will be born, Shortstuff," he scratched his chin thoughtfully. "Well, I guess what we can do is have Adiemus pull the wagon over here by the stables, so we can keep a closer eye on her. Then we'll be sure to be here when the big event happens. How does that sound?"
Hopefully good because there was no way he was sleeping with the sheep. But he didn't mind moving the wagon over for a bit. It shouldn't be more than a couple of days, at best based on how she looked. "Have you see a baby's birth before, Munchkin? Because some people find it a little gross, you know."

"Okay, we can sleep in the wagon!" She cheered. "And ive seen baby animals be born before! I always watched my Daddy help the horses have babies! They were so cute and little!" She exclaimed with a big smile on her face. "I bet Puffy's baby is going to be really cute!" She exclaimed.

"Alright. Well that sounds good then. So...do you want to come with me to pull the wagon over, or do you want to stay here with Puffy? I don't think we'll be seeing a lamb come out anytime today, but it's totally up to you." He went across the stable to Adiemus' stall and started to get the horse ready to head to the wagon.
"Well? How about it, my little Shortcake?"

"I want to stay in the wagon with you Gray!" Pilot exclaimed as she chased after him and began jumping up and down next to Adiemus. She had forgotten that most horses didn't like frantic movements, though some didn't seem to be bothered by it. "Baby sheep! Baby sheep! Adiemus we are going to have a baby sheep here in the stables! You two can be best friend and we can go for walks together all the time!"

"Okay, calm down just a little," Gray said, touseling Pilot's hair. "Don't want to spook Adiemus. He's a pretty docile lad but let's go easy on the old boy, alright?" He clucked his tongue and started leading Adiemus out of the stable, grabbing Pilot's hand on the way out.
"Right then, lets get the wagon moved over here." Fortunately the stable had electricity so he could hook everything up. It was a little cold to be surviving off his small wood burning stove. And he wasn't sure they had a stash of firewood anywhere, anyway. "Have you started thinking about names yet?"

Pilot happily held Gray's hand as they went along. "I don't know of any names yet! I need help!" She she exclaimed. She hummed to herself as she walked with him, "I wonder if it will be a boy or a girl... " She put a dirty finger to her chin as she thought. She stil hadn't gotten a bath yet so she was still rather filthy.

"I don't know," Gray said. "It's probably best to pick out one of each so it doesn't matter which one it is. Also, don't think I've forgotten about your bath. You are not getting into bed covered in mud so we'll have to get you cleaned up after we get the wagon moved. And don't even think about running off again, Mademoiselle Rugrat. After all, Puffy needs to you stay close by, right?"

"Aw! But I dont want a bath!" The small girl fussed. Her eyebrows narrowed in frustration. That was one thing Gray would learn real fast about Pilot and most other kids, fits and tantrums. Pilot hand't thrown a tantrum in front of Gray yet, but that didn't mean she wouldn't. Right now she was just being fussy, partially because she was tired, and partially because she didn't feel like taking a bath at the moment.

 Pilots eyelids were heavy and she was almost asleep before they even left the ballroom. By the time they got outside and to the barn she was sound asleep, exhausted from her very busy night. Upon reaching the stables Pilot and Gray would have a wonderful surprise, Puffy was having her baby. Though Ayame is not going to explain the birth of a lamb in detail. (xD)

(xD) ((I have no idea what to do. Should we assume he woke her up, delivered the baby sheep, then put her to bed? Or should we assume he put her to bed, delivered the baby sheep and......yes? LoL ))

When Gray got to the stables, Pilot was already asleep, but he decided to take a peek in and Puffy, and found that she was most definitely in labor. He gently managed to wiggle the gate open and stepped inside the stall. "Pilot," he said, shaking her awake. "Pilot. Wake up. Puffy needs you right about now."
He set her down near Puffy and stood. "You stay here and I'll go get a few towels and other things. I'll be back in a moment."
He quickly strode out of the stall and toward the wagon to get some water and towels and such. He was glad they moved it over so close. This was a lot better than hiking across the grounds.
[EXIT]

Pilot grumbled ans groaned as Gray woke her up. She blinked when he sat her down the hay, a bit confused until she looked at her sheep and realized that it was going to have it's baby. She smiled and sat up on her knees, watching the sheep. She wouldn't bother Puffy unless the sheep actually needed help.

then speak like a gentleman...Gray returned to the stables, carrying all the thing he's gathered. It had probably been no more than twenty minutes since he'd left Pilot there so he wasn't sure how far along things had progressed. But the first thing he did was go to drop one of the blankets on her shoulders before he crouched down beside her. "How are things going?"

"She hasn't done anything yet. Shes just walking around. So she will have her baby soon," she told Gray with a smile. She pulled the blanket close and snuggled into it, then leaned against his shoulder. "I can't wait to see the little baby! I think its funny that it's being born on Valentine's Day!"

Gray smiled slightly as Pilot snuggled against him. Everything that had been off kilter since finding Rose in his wagon, felt like it was settling back into place. Life was going back to normal. Though it was a little weird that 'normal' for him, meant sitting snuggled with an orphan he barely knew, watching a sheep give birth. He might have to contemplate his definition of normal later on.
But for now, he just chuckled quietly and said, "Well, I guess that means we ought to name it Valentine, don't you think? It's a name that works for boys or girls so whatever it is, that name would work, right?"
...and no one will notice
