How dare a small group of marginalized people try and take away something from their huge-a** entitlement complex selves? Yeah! Screw those 99%, the 1% is where it's at. wink I mean, they're just marginalized and misunderstood! Who cares if other people don't explicitly like them or what they do and stand for?

Okay Maybe pinkie pie is schizophrenic but... Everyone is just blowing things out of proportion, that's not the central message at all. Actually it tends to say "do the opposite". So it's not like they are promoting every type of behavior present.

Which kind of sucks becuase if there were more it may have alleviated the issue. sad

It doesn't matter if most people didn't find it offensive. A good number of people did. This isn't political correctness, this is necessary tact. This is trying to prevent subconscious imprinting in children which would continue the trend of humiliation and discrimination against differently abled people. This entitlement complex is something up with I shall not put.

Furthermore: why are you and other folks against Derpy, but had no problem with Snips and Snails? Not that many people watch the show in general. The brony community is largely white, cis-gendered, heterosexual, traditionally abled males. Snips and Snails portrayal is substantially different, and I've been hoping, to no avail obviously, that people could see a difference between two bunglers, a traditional comedy trope, and a wall-eyed, slow talking, hapless character who other characters treat with exasperation and demands that she go away. I don't suppose you've ever encountered a parent of a differently abled child talk down to them, tell them they're worthless, tell them to go sit down before they ruin something else? I don't guess you've ever encountered someone adopt a countenance similar to how Derpy was portrayed to mock a differently abled person?
