"But... G's not fireproof," Roch pointed out. "He's your pet, right? You haven't killed him yet." Then he shrugged. "And hell, is it that big of a deal if you do? It'll dissipate and all that, but... oh well," he finished. "Or if you grill it up right it might make a tasty snack."
He really should have given her something fireproof. Or edible. Oh! He looked up, then headed into the kitchen, digging through the cabinets and pulling something out. He came back with a clear plastic box with a chocolate skull inside. "Here, this is for you, too," he said, handing it to her.

"You kept it all this time?" she said with a laugh, already distracted. She grabbed at it and put it on her pile of things. With a smile she changed the subject and said, "Roch's turn to play!" She gestured for him to take "center stage."
Honestly she felt bad that she couldn't play something for everyone too, but with her guitar back at Amity, there wasn't much she could do. Well she could play Roch's, but somehow she doubted that would work. He was just so touchy about his guitar.

Eh, no point in explaining that he'd been stealing stuff from his granddad all night for this. Roch grinned ad headed for the stage to the side, stepping up and summoning his guitar.
This really wasn't that bad of a way to spend Christmastival, if you asked him. It was surprising. But he didn't mind.
