"Just because I'm pretty......  Ayu hurriedly reach for his cheek and make him face her. Her brows met as she wiped Kentoy's tear with the back of her finger. Seeing him like that saddens her too. "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to... Don't worry I'll be fine.. Please don't be sad.. Smile for me Kent.. Please.." she smile at him.. Somehow, that could ease his worries away.
After that, she held his hand tightly, her fingers entwined his. Kentoy's always been there for him, and she would be too. "What would you like to show me then? You promised.." she giggles.. ....doesn't mean that I'm happy!"

He closed his eyes when she reached to touch his cheek. That relaxed him and put the emotional levels of the situation decrease. He sighed. Then cupped his hands over hers. "But promise me Ayu.. Promise me you'll tell your secret one day.."
He smiled for her. It wasn't that hard to do. Smiling for her was inevitable and easy, it was like breathing.
Kentoy laughed when she reminded him of what he was going to show her. "Come with me. It's best seen during twilight." He got up from sitting on the sand and offered his hand for Ayu. She seemed confused but he just winked at her. Just before he wrapped his hanky over her eyes, serving as a blindfold.

When they reached the beach, it was a short walk from the narrow road, over a few scrubby dunes, to the expanse of white sand. The tide was coming in and the air was cold and crisp with the smell of salt, and the sea. The high wind caught her hair--which she'd forgotten to pull back, drat--and whipped it around her face, despite her attempts to keep it somewhat under control. Maybe she had a hair tie in her bag. She started to rummage for one, but could barely see for the blasted white strands obscuring her vision.
"Well, here we are," she said, finally giving up on the hair band. She satisfied herself as best as she could, by scraping her hair behind her ears and holding it more or less in place with one hand.
With the sun so high, the sea was a shade of deep blue, with white crested waves crashing on the sand and scaring off the flocks of gulls.
She wasn't used to these sandy beaches. Where she'd lived previously, the beaches were rocky, and full of dangerous crags and caves. This was nice, but somehow it seemed a bit more desolate. She wasn't sure why, but the sea always evoked deep feelings in her--awe, fear, longing. It was a little uncomfortable for her to be on the bare sand without the cliffs and rocks to shelter her from the wind. She wrapped her arms around her body and squinted out at the waves. "What do you think?" she asked. "Is it nice?"

Storm smiled so big he actually burst into laughter. It was gorgeous with its many colors and textures all mashing into one as the waves rolled in. He could almost feel the spray of saltwater hitting his face as the wind blew here and there.
Angela's hair was flying around wild and make her look like a gypsy goddess. He stepped in front of her and ask, "do you trust me? i want to try something."
((sorry this is short, im babysiting cuz someone woke up alone...and everyone else is at the hospital...))

Angela was startled when Storm suddenly asked if she trusted him. She couldn't really answer that she did because she barely knew him. But she didn't really get bad feelings from him either so it wasn't that she specifically distrusted him either. She faltered for a moment, unsure what to say.
"Well," she finally said, giving him a tentative smile. "I don't distrust you. And I trust that if you do anything that pisses me off, I can beat you senseless and leave your carcass in the surf for the starfish to nibble? So...try whatever it is you have in mind?" And she figured if he tried anything creepy or weird, she'd just kick him in the bollocks and run.

If everyone loved and nobody lied ------------------------------------------------------- Storm laughed at her response and grabbed her arms to lower them from her holding her hair, which then proceeded to fly around wildly. He then ran his fingers threw her hair and proceeded to untangle and eventually tie into a strong Knot. That was one of the things he loved to do, Tie knots. It was odd he knew this, but when your out at sea you never know what kind of things you need to tie down. He stepped back from her and gave her a gentle smile. Then he turned around and ran towards the waves, arms outstretched. He felt so right in the world.

Ack! He touched her hair! Angela flailed inwardly. That was...actually kind of sweet, to be honest because now it wasn't all in her face. But he touched her hair! That was just...well, normally it wouldn't matter but it was kind of this Seelie thing that had been ingrained into her since she had been living with her father. You didn't let people touch your hair because it was just hugely intimate and, well, she'd always scoffed at it because that was just stupid. It was hair.
Sticking your hand down's someone's shirt was intimate. Touching their hair was nothing. But somehow, the moment he did it, her face went flaming and lit up. Gah! She didn't know what was worse. That she was standing on a windy beach, in broad daylight, glowing like an idiot, or that she'd somehow been indoctrinated by her father!
"B...bloody faeries!" she muttered.
She watched Storm run toward the sea, wondering why he seemed so deeply connected to it. She followed behind him a little slower, stopping once to pick up a small piece of wood that had been worn completely smooth by the waves. After a moment, she gave up and broke into a jog so she could catch up to him, stopping right at the edge of the surf. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

Storm looked at her completely beaming.
"its gorgeous, magnificent, Wondrous! Its like the bringer or life, Like the change of time! Its... "
He slowly went silent. "Its my life..."
He looked at her completely serious now. "sorry i must sound utterly crazy..." He gave a soft smile out at the waves, endlessly pushing and pulling. He has never felt more at home than on the sea and he was glad that this beach was so close.
((sorry this is short.. isnt he a charmer tho? is the water cold? ))

"Not really," Angela said, shaking her head. "I actually like the sea as well. I've been sailing a few times but not often enough. I actually really love it, though. When you're out on the water it gives you a sense of...freedom. Like there's nothing else in the world but your boat and the water."
"Is that what you did before coming here? Were you on a ship of some kind?" Actually, he had mentioned something about his 'captain' hadn't he?
((I would say it's fairly cold, yes. At least going by the beaches where I live. XD ))

Storm nodded about everything she said. She was smart and beautiful, able to see the world as it truly is, or so he deeply hoped.
"yes, i have made my living as a sailor for many many years. I have fallen madly in love with this ocean and its many wonders." In some ways Storm felt like the ocean was apart of him, even the deep dark creatures lurking underneath.
"iv sailed many ships in my lifetime, my favorite probably has to be one with many sails. They are hard to handle but so much fun to race. " He got a devilish look in his eyes.
((sorry for the late reply...storm is def my alter ego, also iv nvr been to an ocean... crying ... not sure if you'll notice that im back so i'll quote ya xD))

"That's sounds really amazing," Angela said. "I would love to do something like that. I've always been sort of...trapped on land, I guess. I mean, I've never been able to just, you know, go. Or do my own thing." She started walking down the beach, along the edge of the surf. "I mean, it would be nice to just be able to spend a few months on the sea, I think. Not that I have that much experience with it, but it would be nice to try?"
She turned and looked back at him, grinning. "See that rock? Race you to it?"
((Angela's original self is a sky pirate. She's totally down with sailing. LoL))

So she was trapped? He knew so many like that. By their families, by their abilities, by their curses. Freedom is something forever cherished and missed. Maybe he could steal her away for a weekend and just sail around a while. Of course he'd first have to get his hands on a boat. Or maybe he could ask one of his mates to stop by and pick them up? that would make her smile for sure.
Storm mirrored her grin and nodded. "im down with a race, just dnt be a sore loser if i win." he teased pushing her a little in the arm.
((sky pirates? lmao nice!! i hardly ever do futuristic rps anymore. so storm is def old fashioned. is this race on land or water lmao))

"Don't be a sore loser if I cheat!" Angela said. "We Fae are just mischievous like that!" With that, she shot off toward the rock. Well, she didn't think she'd win because even if she was fast, he had those blasted long legs. But hey, head start. She'd at least make him work for victory and if all else failed, she'd just tackle him before he could get ahead of her.
In any case, she was tired of talk of being trapped and wanting to be free but the more he talked about sailing, the more she kept thinking that's exactly how things were for her. So a race would work to get away from that subject and onto something else.
((LoL, if you have him catch up, is it okay if she tackles him? XD ))

He took off as fast as he could which in the end resulted in him almost slipping in the sand. He figured she would do something like get a head start. He didnt mind because he knew he could catch up.
He figure she was actually the type of girl that would feel alittle better about herself if he allowed her to win, but was also the type that could spot someone letting her win a mile away. so he caught up to her almost half way to the rock, then bolted a little bit ahead of her. He could hear her breathing and his begin to match. Sand was flying everywhere in the wind. 'push her, but dnt break her' He remembered one of his captains saying to him once when they had horses aboard one of their ships. He disliked horses no matter if they were standing still or full gallop. He was never much of a land creature anyways.
((totally cool with it... If she wants to do it, let it happen lmao. ))

Gah! There he was. Sure enough, it didn't take long for Storm to push out in front of her. She was able to coax a little more speed out of her legs, but she just didn't have the stride length to overtake him.
Well, she'd said she would play dirty and with all the sand flying every which way, it was already pretty dirty. A little cheating couldn't make it much worse. She lunged at him, tackling him at the waste and dragging him to the ground. Only she miscalculated a bit and instead of dragging him down toward the side, where she could push off him and keep going, she twisted wrong, and pulled him down right on top of her.
"Gaaaaaah!" she cried, half laughing and half terrified of being crushed by his greater weight and height.
