Severin was getting a headache. He didn't even notice the little pink fairy float in either. There were too many things happening at once. Since when did he need a lecture about... what exactly was he being lectured about? What did these people care for a genuine smile? If he had a choice, he wouldn't smile at all. He was suffocating in this room full of... of... monsters.

Severin had to back away from Suzanne and Zhori. At this rate, if they kept touching him, he'd just have too peel off his skin rather than take a good scrub down in the showers when he returned to his dorm.

"Well then, if that's the case, I will look forward to getting to know all of you. As of right now, we've just recently met and I hardly know most of you. You don't expect that we'd all just start smiling genuinely upon meeting each other, do you? Let's all work hard and have a good year together." Severin replied. He was actually lying through his teeth. He just wanted them to leave him alone and do his own work. Especially the demon, the naiad, and the fire elemental. The witch didn't seem so bad since she seemed like someone who didn't care about anything. He doubted he'd be seeing her much.

Silveril ignored Vivian's jab. However, he was surprised that she even spoke up about the matter and even gave a brief lecture. Normally she would remain silent and just... eat or sleep. Perhaps the brat was in a good mood. "One doesn't need to smile to be happy, Vivian." Silveril remarked.

About the subject, Silveril didn't have much to say. He didn't care if they all got along or not. However, he noticed that a pink fairy had suddenly appeared. He was certain it flew in just recently since she didn't even introduce himself-- Silveril blinked. No... it was a... man.
"How nice of you to join us. Who exactly are you...? This is a staff meeting, so if you need anything from anyone here, it can wait." Not that this meeting was about anything important anyways...

Blinking away from his earlier distraction, Briar made his announcement for his self-introduction with a beaming grin.

"Oh! I'm Briar, and I'm a part of the staff too! To be specific, I'm the janitor, but it's still nice to meet y'all. I'll certainly do my best to make clean your rooms until they sparkle. Shiny things are always a pleasure to look at don't ya think? The only thing I ask is that you don't install any bug zappers, especially the shiny kind. I don't enjoy being tricked by such that stuff."

"I ended up.... sleeping. Yeah. Sleeping! So I missed the conversation. But anyway, what about you?" The bubbly fairy zipped up to the man who had asked about his macho self and held out a hand to shake for pleasantries. How was this supposed to work?

Silveril blinked, unsure how to address the tiny pink... fairy man. It could be likely that he had fallen asleep, but it wouldn't be that hard to notice a pink light... could it? Well, whether or not he was here to begin with, he was here now and he was sticking a tiny hand at Silveril. What was he supposed to do? Shake it? He's break the creature if he tried.

"I see. So you're the janitor." That was the only response Silveril could manage. He wondered how a small fairy could be the janitor for such a large school. But since he was hired, the headmistress... probably knew what she was hiring... maybe. "Er... perhaps we can skip the handshake. It's a bit awkward due to our size."

Grace smiled when she saw the very peppy ferry. "Hello Blair," she gave him a cheerful greeting with a wave of the hand following afterwards. She hoped that everyone would feel comfortable in the school because school was a place where everyone should feel the equal opportunity to learn and teach.

".... Are you discriminating against my size? I'll have you know that I can still get by just as well as a... giant!"

Briar huffed out, frustrated that people couldn't see past the differences in height. Yeesh! He knew what he was doing. He wasn't that fragile. Hovering close to the man's hand, the fairy grasped a hold of a finger with both handsOkay, he had to admit that there were limits to his size... and shook it with enough might to resemble a rather enthusiastic... handshake.

"See? Handshake all done!" Briar triumphantly boasted before completely forgetting about the man as he made a bee line straight for a female that caught his attention. "And why hello to you too, beautiful~!"

Sylthfreiyn was currently in the middle of shredding some paper dolls he made in the paper shredder. It wasn't enough. He wanted to see something more gruesome. Of course he couldn't go find a live target, so he tossed a cherry inside the paper shredder. It wasn't blood but it had a similar appearance. Cherries were just too drippy but it helped satisfy Sylthfreiyn's sadistic nature a bit.

Sylthfreiyn ate a cherry, letting the juice drip from his mouth.

"Suzanne, I don't understand why you've settled with this kind of boring lifestyle." Sylthfreiyn said as he started to crush the cherries in his bowl so it could resemble a pool of blood. He picked up the bowl and tipped the juice into his mouth.

Suzanne was sitting at a couch reading a book. She glanced up from her book to look at her little brother who was enjoying his cherries. He was probably the only person in the world that could interrupt her when she was seriously reading. "It's only boring because you say it's boring, Sylth. There's a lot of fun in this school. There are so many interesting people. You should try meeting all of them."Suzanne told him as she grinned from where she sat.

She was aware that her brother missed torturing people, but he wasn't the one banished from the demon realm. He could always go back if he really missed torturing others that much.
"If you want, I could make an agonized wail for you." Suzanne offered.

Severin walked into the teacher's lounge so he could get some sweets since there were usually some treats left in the lounge. When he walked in, he wanted to walk right back out since the demon siblings were already inhabiting the lounge.

Suzanne was reading a book and Sylth was drinking... blood? No it couldn't be. It was far too... Well, Severin didn't really want to know. However, he couldn't just walk out now since he didn't enter quietly since he thoguht there would be no one in the room.

"Ah... hopefully I wasn't interrupting anything. Dont' mind me..." Severin said with a frown as he turned away from the two siblings.

Sylthfreiyn paused from his drinking and set the bowl down on a counter and wiped the red dripping liquid from his mouth. He almost returned to his gentlemanly appearance, but he figured that since Severin was a "comrade," it wouldn't hurt to show him his real self. Highly likely, Severin probably would start avoiding Sylth after seeing Sylth's real self. Most people were like that. Suzanne was the only one who treated him the same no matter what personality he took on.

"Ah, Severin. How've you been? Suffering from a hurting face as usual due to all your fake smiles?" Sylthfreiyn asked as he turned to face Severin. "You know, your acting is rather lacking. You should always go the extra mile if you really want people to swallow your pretend pleasantries."

Suzanne was too busy reading to care that Severin came in. She was going through one of her moments when she's stuck reading a good book. For once, she didn't care to tease anyone.

For once Suzanne didn't seem to be suspiciously enthusiastic today. She was curled up at the corner of a couch reading. She seemed... a little more likeable that way. Sylthfreiyn was different today too. He seemed more... barbaric than usual. Actually, he usually was a very pleasant person. Well, demons are demons. Severin didn't want to bother think about what could have caused their personality changes. He didn't care at all.

"No need to rub it in. I don't like getting involved with troublesome things. As long as I prented to be nice, they shouldn't complain." Severin said to Sylthfreiyn as he walked over to a bowl of candy corn and popped some in his mouth.

Morgan trudged into the lounge, feeling slightly drained. He hadn't gotten to cover anything despite being one of the earlier people arriving. He groaned and flopped into a nearby chair, watching teachers walk by and converse with themselves.
Maybe this really wasn't his kind of thing. He couldn't be certain. Ugh, he wanted a nap. At least he was finished for the day.
Ah... his jacket. He sat up. Crap, that girl had run off with it. Bloody fae people.

And the wonderful book came to an end. Suzanne closed the book, feeling energized to run around and cause trouble. Of course she didn't plan to openly cause trouble. She would do it secretly since it wasn't befitting for a teacher to cause trouble. Besides, causing trouble around the school was her mission. Somehow, she had to make this school collapse or something like that. She forgot the reason why her alliance wanted the school to fall apart. It had something to do with races... maybe? Well, Suzanne forgot. No point in trying to remember it again.

She got up from her seat. Severin and Sylthfreiyn were busy chatting with each other. There was another person in the teacher's lounge. It was a teacher she's never seen before and he sure seemed like he was in a pretty exhausted mood. But at the moment, Suzanne had to get back to the library. It was time for free period and she couldn't trust students to take care of the precious books in there.

But before that, Suzanne didn't like to leave with a question still in her head. She had to ask the newcomer what he taught.

"Who are you? Are you a new teacher?" Suzanne asked him.

Morgan looked up at the woman looming over him, blinking a few times as he processed her words. "I... um... yeah, I'm the new astronomy teacher, Morgan Isaac." He stood up slowly, holding out a hand for shaking. "Sorry, I just... had a rough first class. Couldn't get them to calm down on time."

Well! Suzanne couldn't understand that because she wasn't a teacher! But it probably was frustrating if no one was listening. Of course, Suzanne would take advantage of the chaos and humiliate the most troublesome student in some way where she wouldn't get caught for her own amusement.

Suzanne grasped Morgan's hand and shook it.

"Astronomy? I don't know much about the subject. Maybe I'll go look for some books on it. That aside, you can call me Professor Malevolyte. I'm the librarian of the school. Since it's free period right now, there may be students loitering at the library. It's a shame you couldn't really get some work done. Hopefully tomorrow will be more fruitful. The more knowledge you feed the students, the more faster the world war-- ah-- the more faster the world will be a better place!" Suzanne replied.

She had almost blurted out her dreams about the world war that she wanted to witness out of simple amusement. Her thought process was that knowledge was power, and if everyone had a lot of knowledge, there would soon come to rise a big argument that would upscale into a large war. And through it all, Suzanne would sit back and watch.

"Malevolyte? Interesting name. How do you spell that?" he asked with a small laugh. "Perhaps I should take a look at this library. I haven't been there yet. Perhaps I can find some books to help aid the students in my class as well."

He could only hope he could help that much. Honestly, he should get an air horn to silence them next time.
