"They fall deeply, indeed."
Aisa felt the stinging sensation of the hunter's wepaon around her torso, the sensation sliding through the red tattered dress as if it wasn't there. Even Aisa was forced to wonder at the rather tame nature of the doctor's weapon, pulled against him. Her weapon and form was tainted with his human blood, from her scythe wound, crimson as the dress she wore. Her favorite color, undoubtedly.
There was also no doubt that Aisa would have slipped from the hunter's whip, if not for the sudden barrier of blue light that erupted. Her gaze traveled wildly, recognizing the hints-- How had they not noticed? Haste did have it's drawbacks, Aisa was forced to remind herself. Opponents were important but their surroundings even more so .. She fell slack in the hunter's restraint, her sight faltering, spinning and blinded by the repulsing eccentricities of the blue light. Her belt slid painfully to her side, the skulls digging into the snowy ground with a vengeance, leaving a path of overturned gravel. The words she said next, revealed the sudden absorption of their fear's effects, breathless, struggling to regain it back.
"You're full of surprises, aren't you?"

Aisa's could feel the warm heated breath of the doctor, brushing against her cool skin with a fiery path. She despised how her body went slack aaginst him, her shoulders tensing as his weapon began to move, biting with teeth that threatened to drain her very last fear from her being. Lifting her head upwards to brush her lips against the rough and distinctly male stubble of a human male, her lips brushed past his chin. Ignoring the chaos of Caelius, Aria and the artifact, only the low hum of Dr. H and the instrument piercing against her ripping dress took prominence of the moment.
"In the face of Death, I'm sure you realized how .. fleeting it is. The scent of death you hold is sweet but overripe. Your pungent odor is certainly a surprise to me."
Her hand ripped at Marie's blades, the blade slicing closely into her palms as she pulled the confining grip away. It didn't pull far, the weapon's ferocity keeping to it's standard as one of the leaders of the Hunters but Aisa took the gap to drag her shoulders downward, escaping the confines of the grip. Her hands were sliced and bloodied, the same for her shoulders, scraping painfully against Marie, along with the wounds leftover from the brief constriction.
She practically was bathed in crimson, her own and the good doctor's essence mingling. She couldn't attack but she could move, in her own wounded way, against the confinements of the barrier. But could she move again?

"No one else is leaving their posts." Caelius didn't wait for affirmation from the communications set before shifting his attention from one trapped specimen to the other: their assault on the barrier had not gone unnoticed. "Horsemen. It is always nice to see that you have an impeccable ability to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope your escort back was pleasant."
Without bothering to follow up, he continued to move forward until he stopped at the original three perpetrators, a sneer at the black-hooded one's behaviour as his scythe weapon bit into them relentlessly. Circe dragged behind him as he stopped in front of Arel. "I would like the artifact back, please."
In return, the secretary simply curled into a tighter ball and said nothing, holding something in his hands.
There was a loud crack as Caelius slammed the blunt end of his weapon against the ice demon's ribs, causing Arel to effectively let go of whatever they were holding. From a small distance, it looked like the Death Hunter had found it: the spherical artifact containing Amityville, that is until Caelius picked it up, and shattered it against the ground, the object breaking into a thousand tiny shards of ice. A hastily made replica.
He literally pulled away several Hunters that were re-constructing the barrier. "Spread out, find the artifact." His grip tensed against his weapon as he took out his cell phone and glanced at it for just a second. "It looks like we still have time." Once again, the Death Hunter's eyes flickered from the Heirs to the Amityville staff. "Judging that you are indeed working together, the treaty will be carried out then." It was not a question.

AMITYVILLE STAFF: THE BARRIER - They must disable all 4 points of the barrier for it to break: Roll a 6-sided dice and select a barrier point (NORTH OR EAST). If odd, you break free of the stun and move to disable the barrier. Roll your attack as normal (Fear attacks are disabled). Each dagger has 20 HP. MAKE SURE TO NOTE IN YOUR ATTACK POST WHICH DAGGER YOU ARE ATTACKING. - Even if they are finally free from the barrier, the effects of being inside the barrier still linger, it is hard to move, let alone attack... - There are TWO BARRIERS LEFT, the south and west one has been destroyed, the others have replenished HP back to 20/20 (This is considered ROUND 5, the barrier has no effect on Hunters, who may be inside or outside the barrier)
STUDENTS: YOU HEAR A NOISE! Maybe you are an Amityville student or just a visitor- It is mass chaos outside of the Maul. There are people yelling, some people being grabbed by ??? - its dark, its dense, and you can't really tell, there are way too many figures around and they all look like regular Maul-goers - you try to make your way through the chaos, finally breaking free only to find - - the parking lot, with some figures trapped within a barrier that seem familiar to several students. What are they doing? What are they talking about? You can choose to LISTEN (please post LISTEN at the top of your post), or TAKE ACTION (please post take action at the top of your post) - If you choose to LISTEN, your student simply hides and listens in on the conversation for this turn. They can have unlimited reaction posts, but they can only LISTEN until the next round. - If you choose to TAKE ACTION, your student stumbles into the fray, right outside the barrier, exposing themselves to everyone in the parking lot as well. But what do they do now? Who are these people? - Please note, stepping inside the barrier/parking lot/ going to assist the staff will cause your student to become paralyzed
OOC:SUMMARY SO FAR While Arel might have been first to discover the snowglobe containing Amityville, it looks like the Hunters have caught on too. Thankfully, several Amityville staff and ToTers came to his rescue, though after a light showdown, the Hunters currently have them all trapped in a barrier, with the snowglobe nowhere in sight - is it safe? The other question though is regarding word of this treaty, what exactly are they talking about?
