Jukka stopped in his tracks when he realized that someone had spotted him. Instead of getting mad, or even scared, he merely grinned. "Well, I wasn't planning on doing such a thing in the first place. I was merely looking for a quiet place to play my guitar, smoke a cigaret or two, and think about life" he replied to Angela calmly. Even though Jukka was missing an eye and currently doing something sneaky, he seemed oddly calm and relaxed. Its as if he didn't have a care in the world, which he didn't. "What exactly are you yourself doing out here at this time of night anyway?" He asked.

Angela shrugged, stepping out of the shadows and into the light. "I just felt a bit restless inside. It's too beautiful a night to spend it locked in my dorm room. And I don't really know any of my house mates anyway so there wasn't much point in staying there. I thought it might be nice to get some fresh air. That's all there is to it, really."

"I didn't expect anyone else to skip curfew on the first night either. In any case, I'm more of a night owl. I don't really feel tired so.." She shrugged.

She wondered why the boy was still smoking when he had just been trying to cough up his innards. Perhaps he was the sort that thought it made him stand out--or perhaps he was a hopeless addict. Either way, it was kind of sad. That cough hadn't sounded particularly pleasant. Must be sad to have a body that held onto contaminants like that. Though it begged the question why he continued to forcibly shove them in, if it was impacting his health.

If Faeries were strange, other races were just as bad, in their own ways.

Jukka snickers, "I hate being inside. my family are merchants so I spend a lot of time on the open sea, under the stars." he smiled. "What kind of family are you from? If its okay for me to ask such a question.... I do not mean to pry or anything...." he added as he took another puff on his cigaret.

"Stuffy, stuck up and overly shiny Fae nobility of the Seelie Court," Angela said. "Well, I mean. The only ones I really have left are my father and uncle. I supposedly have an aunt, but she's buggered off into oblivion and I've never met her."

"So yeah, they mostly just dance around and come up with annoying ways to screw around with mortals and all that. It's actually a bit of a relief to be away from them." She grinned at him. "I'd love to have a life where I could just sail all day. I'm rather fond of boats. They're better than the constant onslaught of fancy parties. There's only so much singing and dancing a girl can handle before she wants to smash her head against something just to make it stop."

"Anyway, what made the guitar playing son of a merchant meander his way over to this school? I was sort of tossed here in the hopes it would improve my attitude or some such."

Jukka smirked, "No one in my family has ever been fortunate enough to go to school. So my parents saved up money to enroll me here. I am very happy about it actually, I could use the education. Id like to become a business man or a musician," he replied, puffy his cigaret some more.

"Well at least you have the opportunity to come here, and then chase whatever dream you wish," Angela said. "I'm likely to spend the rest of my life running around doing my father's dirty work. It seems to be the only reason he likes having a daughter and considering that Fae live...a very, very long time...well, you can imagine how encouraging that is."

Ugh. She didn't want to discuss this. Hell, for all she knew, her father had some sort of ulterior motive for sending her here, and he just hadn't told her. That would be so, annoyingly, like him. Like that time he'd randomly dropped her in that swamp with the bizarre alligator horses and she had to put up with that knight and that stupid cat lady.

Ahem. Anyway.

"So, right then, let's hear it then. I'm curious about just how good you are with that guitar of yours. I'm pretty much rubbish when it comes to instruments."

Jukka grinned at the idea of playing his music for someone. "Why id be honored to play you a little tune~" he replied as he sat down cross-legged in the grass. Jukka took a puff on his cigaret then grabbed his guitar case from his back, unzipped the bag, then pulled out a natural colored acoustic. He held the instrument in his hands and began playing a soft tune, nothing too upbeat, just something that was right for the current moment.

Jukka was very good at playing his guitar. He often played it on the fishing vessel when his work was finished. Sometimes he played it for his mother and father, or for other visiting family members. But most of the time, Jukka played it either outside or in his room, when he was by himself. It was a very pleasant thing for him, and helped him to relax.

Angela flopped down alongside Jukka and laid back on the damp grass, closing her eyes as she listened to the sound of his fingers strumming over the guitar strings. She found herself beginning to relax as he played the quiet, reflective melody. It had been a long day--at the time, she hadn't thought as much about how much she was having to focus on her attitude and behavior but now that the day was over and she was laying here in the dark, she realized how much stress had been building, the entire day.

But this was nice. It was dark, and the cool air was soothing her nerves far more than being shut up in that dorm room would have. And with Jukka sitting beside her quietly playing, she didn't have to worry about conversation or being proper and polite and all that. She could just lay and let the pent up stress drain away.

All in all, it hadn't been a bad day, and she had met some interesting people. She was just going to have to get used to this environment, that was all. "It's nice," she murmured quietly. "You're really quite an adept player, aren't you?"

Jukka enjoyed the music as he played. He looked up to the sky and gazed at all of the stars. He always wondered what was out there, beyond those twinkling balls of fire. Sometimes he even liked to think that the stars were sparkling for him, a sort of compensation for him playing his music.

Jukka sighed lightly and smiled, then looked over at Angela she spoke to him, "Why thank you. I have been playing ever since I was a small boy," he replied. His ears twitched happily and he hummed a bit, then after a moment all of this was interrupted by his nagging cough. The humming had seemed to trigger some sort of imaginary reactor.

(And now theres been a time skip to the next day... lol )

Once outside, Sethrian knew even less what he actually wanted to do. He sort of hesitated going into the school since there were people in there. And it was a nice day so it probably wouldn't hurt to spend it outdoors. At least with his sunglasses, no one could see his eyes, so people were less likely to avoid him. That was some benefit.

He took to wandering the school grounds, eventually finding himself dithering at the school entrance unsure whether to go in or not.

”All say, ‘How hard it is that we have to die’
- A strange complaint to come

(( No prob! ))

Kasie had been such a... creeper since last night. Since she couldn't sleep at all, she made it her liberty to go people watching, especially the boys. There were just so many different types passing and going that she could have gotten diabetes from all the eye candy she was getting! Of course, she would never be out in the open and do that because that would be an invasion of their privacy, too late so she stuck with floating about in the trees. It was times like these that she was thankful to be dead because gravity no longer worked against her. In your face, gravity! And so, it was nothing out of the norm when some guy happened to come along with Kasie just staring away at the poor student. Oh, also, add the occasional drooling to that as well.

((Heh. I forgot that he can't even sense her presence because she's a ghost and has no body heat. Mwa ha...snakey senses thwarted!))

Sethrian finally made up his mind and started away from the school. For now, he would head into the city. He had an entire week of vacation so there would be plenty of time for reading and such, later on. Besides, perhaps he could find a book store or something and purchase a few books instead of dealing with other students and an the inevitable teachers in the library. He made his way to the school gates, stopping as he got there, to glance over his shoulder.

Odd. It felt...sort of like he was being watched. The hair on the back of his neck was even standing up. But there was no one in sight, and the only heat he sensed were coming from the obvious, visible sources.

He tried to shrug off the unsettling feeling, and shoved his hands in his pockets as he stepped onto the sidewalk outside the school and started walking toward the city. He briefly considered a bus, but dismissed it right away as an annoyance--too many people in close proximity--and decided walking was the more logical choice. If he could just get rid of that nagging feeling of paranoia...

(( Don't worry, she'll follow him nevertheless. xD; ))

No. No. No! NO! Why is this boy already leaving!? She barely got to look at him much less check out his *ss, so that wasn't fair! There wasn't anybody else out here either for her to stalk. Looks like it was time for a change of plans. Although, it seemed like she had to be sly about it since it seemed like he was suspecting. Of course, she was never going to be caught she hoped anyway else she die from embarrassment. Wait, she already was dead, so that analogy wouldn't work out. because this activity was the one thing she was good at. Gliding down from the trees, Kasie was now going incognito. In other words, she was going to be trailing this fellow until she was properly satisfied with her view.

"You fainted Kamil. You had me worried for a second. To wake you up I brought you all the way back here and sprayed you with a water hose. Hopefully that helped you. Oh yeah...and sorry about the ride. I should have known it was going to be too much for you."
