"Not that I think we need to hide our conversation from people, but really, you never know. Considering the situation, it might be best to be careful."
"If what you're saying is true, it's possible someone is trying to...sabotage the school, or go after someone. Or both. So it may be best to keep discussions to close quarters for now."
She started out into the hall, relieved Vivian seemed to be pretty sensible, in spite of her appearance.

Mafuyu was stuck in the office late. She was hearing a lot of complaints and the incident with Javor was difficult to explain. After all, she was the one being blamed for hiring such a shady man and the whole accepting just about anyone started to look like a bad idea. What was happening? Mafuyu couldn't let her parents' hopes and dreams be crushed so easily. She will definitely find a way to make this school look better.
She glanced up when someone walked into the room. Who was-- Oh yeah! Ichirou's friend and also the school counselor! Sylthfreiyn!
"Hello, Sylthfreiyn. What can I do for you today?" Mafuyu asked him as she smiled at him.

Mafuyu was clearly flattered. Working hard? She heard a lot of comments and it's mostly been her being not much of headmistress. Of course she's also been dealing with complaints about her school and her lately so hearing some praise really made Mafuyu's day.
"Not really. If I want this school to keep running, it's necessary that I'm here. I wish I had more free time but with all the chaos happening, I can't rest. I will answer all the complaints and I have to promise that Rosentale Academy is a safe place." Mafuyu said firmly. "I don't want to disappoint the children who made so many new friends here."
Mafuyu was surprised with Sylthfreiyn's request. Now he was a hardworker! After all, he had it easy just sitting around and having a lot of free time and being paid for it but he wanted to do more work! What a great guy! "Well if you insist, there's a lot of work that needs to be done." Mafuyu admitted. "There are these that I've never gotten to filing. I've been busy with other things so the filing stack kind of... grew. I hate to bother you like this so if you feel tired, you're free to leave it to me."
((Lightning. Joo are tricky. >w> We need some of our distrustful people to shoo Sylthfreiyn away. ))

All these compliments were making Mafuyu embarrassed! It was hard not to be after days of dealing with only complaints only to be overkilled with compliments in one instant day.
Not to mention there was someone to help her with work and everything. Mafuyu took an instant liking to Sylthfreiyn. "Thank you very much, Sytlhfreiyn!" Mafuyu said to him happily. "I can't wait to go back to my wandering days instead of being stuck in this room! Let's work hard together and get all this work finished! Time for me to speed write!"
Mafuyu was fully energized now. She was writing through all these complaints and was managing to figure out how to appease them all. She will definitely have to work hard to build up Rosentale's lacking reputation. Perhaps she should do a school field trip! It has to be somewhere safe though!

Mafuyu was looking out her window when Vivian walked into the office. It had been some time since Mafuyu saw her. She did chat with her briefly during the winter field trip, but Mafuyu had to return to the school early and couldn't stick around for very long. "Hello, Vivian." Mafuyu said. "I was reminiscing about the past for a bit. We got many new teachers and Rosentale has grown considerably."
Mafuyu glanced back out her window to see the full expanse of the front yard of the school. "I'm surprised. I didn't know I had the ability to govern this place and help it grown. I was certain that during my time here, it would be the collapse of Rosentale." Mafuyu admitted. "But the people here are very open-minded and there are many groups of friends that I would see with each other and each race would be diverse. I want Rosentale to stay the same forever and to be this kind of environment to students."
((PPSSSSHHHH. Mafuyu did nothing. XD))

She was very flattered by Vivian's words. "I think the computers were a bad touch." Mafuyu said, unable to help a smile on her face as she said that. "I can't understand how to use them at all and there are just too many buttons and cell phones are horrendous and touch screen... don't get me started with that."
But she certainly wanted to give it a shot. Mafuyu was never really a determined person and her strength wilted at the sight of any kind of adversary, but for Rosentale, she wanted to be determined and she wanted to do all she can for it.
So no matter what got in her way, Mafuyu wouldn't back down. At least, she hoped she wouldn't.
((Fine. D< Sleep well then. I guess I should try to get some sleep too. XD))

Mafuyu had been looking out the window for dramatic effect because she felt dramatic, gosh darn it! It was an emotional moment for her because she finally realized that Rosentale was doing okay--minus the monster attacks and the doctor's questionable actions and the complaints that have been sent to her about some of the staff that she had badly chosen.
So she wasn't looking at anything. When Vivian went to stand beside her, she squinted out with such concentration as if she was searching for something. Mafuyu frowned. What? What was she looking for? Mafuyu decided she would look with Vivian too until Vivian spoke.
"What? Sparkly?" Mafuyu repeated as she tried to find it and she did. She was about to remark about her discontent with littering but poor naive little Vivian thought it might have been treasure since she wanted to check it out. Either that or Vivian was pro-earth and wanted to pick up that litter right away.
"Um... I'll come too!' Because she wanted an excuse to wander!
