Like... eating in front of people. He didn't know why, he was just embarrassed when eating around others. Not a full meal anyway, he'd eat chips around others with no problem.

 Penelope nodded and ordered a sandwich. She walked back to the table with a tray full of sandwich and other fruits.

Noctis uncertainly reached over and grasped a small strawberry. He examined the juicy crimson fruit and reluctantly ate it. Eating the leaves and all, even though he knew you weren't supposed to. He rarely ate human food to begin with. He usually drank AB+ blood to satisfy his sweet tooth. He grimaced, not exactly finding strawberries as his favorite."Bleh."

Penelope laughed,
"Well, you're not supposed to eat the leaves. I'm assuming you don't eat too much fruit?"
She grabbed a piece of honeydew and ate it. It was getting dark outside, sooner or later they'd have to leave. It wasn't the safest thing to walk in Iridescence City in the dark.

Noctis grinned with the slight ghost of his disgust still evident on his visage."I think this is the only time I've eaten a fruit, and it'll probably be the last." He commented a matter-of-factly. Noctis too, took heed to the darkened skies blinding the streets. He never really worried about strangers lurking in the night. It not to kill, his abilities would do him many.

"Do you want to head back now? It's getting dark and we have to be back by midnight. It's a long walk back as well, and the buses aren't starting up until tomorrow. They try not to use them in winter, it's far too cold to work them."
She asked, with obvious panic lining her voice.

"Sorry, I've forgotten you've only just gotten to this school. We're going to the dorm part of the academy. It's about eight blocks down, then we take a left and walk another few blocks, go down an extremely steep hill, and then we get to the dormitory. It's much faster than the .. other way of getting there."
