Victio took off his glasses and tossed them on the desk, rubbing his temples in frustration. Victio heard the voice of the girl but dd not look up right away, Victio merely grunted and kept his eyes closed. After a moment he looked up at the girl, he did not recognize her. "Who are you and how do you know alphonse?"

Victio shook his head and put his glasses back on. "I have tried to talk to him and he either doesn't want to talk or when he finally does I say something innocent and he explodes. Without going in to specifics about the boy which are confidential, I can say that I have tried my best to figure out why he drinks and despite several conversations I am at a loss!" Victio sighed. "You say I don't listen, what makes you think that?" Victio questioned "What information have you managed to ween from the boy that you think I have not?"

Victio thought to himself, remembering people in his past feeling too scared to talk to them about how they really felt. "I don't understand why he is afraid to tell me. Why are people so afraid of showing me their weaknesses, Its my job to fix them, I want to fix them." Victio said. "I know he reacts very powerfully to discussions about his family and his brother, there is certainly alot of pain there." Victio said, breaching confidentiality and exposing himself to professional malpractice "He admits he has imperfections but that he is not using the drink to cover them up so the drinking is related to something else, his family in some way I suppose. "Gah, what am I missing!"

"Do you have any information on this brother of his?"

Victio thought several moments about what Rayna had said. "It must be tough not having people around that you can put your total trust in." Victio said sadly. "It would be even more tough to think that the people around you are interested in you only because of the possibility of receiving money from you. I bet the fact that I am receiving payment for my services to him picks at that fear." Victio said.

"I think I should start talking to him more about what exactly his issues are with his parents and especially with his brother." Victio began. "He has said that his parents 'wanted his brother' but not him." Victio continued "And I am starting to think there has been a history of physical abuse in the family due to his reactions to me touching him in any way, perhaps by his brother or maybe the parents." victio paused for a moment before continuing "It is interesting though that Alphonse utterly adores his brother and would seemingly walk through fire for him, while at the same time be upset with his parents for doting on the brother instead of alphonse. You would think he would dispise his brother for that but he does not. Maybe the parents have been grooming the brother for activities that Alphonse views unsavory but Alphonse has been unable to stop the parents and blames himself for that failure, for failing to save his brother." Victio said

"What do you think?"

Victio's face turned from curiosity to dread as Rayna told him that Alphonse's brother had died in a car accident "What? How did this happen? Was Alphonse involved in any way? Were his parents?" Victio asked, leaning forward in his chair eagerly awaiting the answer.

VIctio sat back in his char, and sighed "Oh my, it happened on his birthday? I really must talk with him about this, I wonder if he blames himself for what happened in some way. Thank you very much for your help Rayna, I cannot believe this fact was not included in his file. Is there anything else you think i should know?"

Victio smiled "thank you very much Rayna you have been a huge help, If i have any other questions I will be sure to seek you out." Victio continued "But be sure to keep this conversation confidential or I will lose my license." He smiled, turning back to his desk.

Victio looked over his notes from prior sessions with the boy and tried to figure out how best to discuss this with him. Considering Alphonse's current state of mind, perhaps it would be best to wait until Alphonse comes to him rather than to pursue the boy directly. Victio decided to give Alphonse a week to cool down before they had any further discussions on this matter.
