That last flurry of attack wasn't without sacrifice - the snapping giftboxes came tearing at her once the blades stopped flying, biting at her arms once more.
The frost demon could only land a punch or two, taking out a small amount but that might have worked better if she were armed.

 30/100The swarm had been cut down by a full 2/3ds. The group was doing pretty well - - OR WERE THEY."WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY BABIES???"The Mother Of All Boxes Has Arrived.The box swarm - rather, what was left of the box swarm retreated to huddle behind the giant present. The Mother Of All Boxes pounced first upon Danny, visibly the most formidable of the box warriors, her fiery nature the biggest threat. GULP. Perhaps, if the brave warriors could hit the massive present, they could get it to spit their hapless comrade back out. OOC To chase off the Mother Of All Boxes, you must hit it five times. That's all. However, with every turn you take, you run the risk of being SWALLOWED WHOLE. A character who has been swallowed cannot take any actions until they have been spat back out. One hit inflicted on the Mother Of All Boxes will induce it to spit out one character. If all characters are swallowed before the Mother Of All Boxes is defeated, they will later wake up at the infirmary with 0 HP and a persistent ringing in their ears, much like jingle bells. This effect will persist through the next three combat rounds they participate in. It is distracting, and will add a -1 to your attack rolls (-7 instead of -6). With each turn, roll 1d6. If you roll a 1, you have been swallowed. If you don't roll a 1, you may then roll your normal attack.

Sliding around a corner, a small robed figure ran away from the conflict with all her admittedly limited might, a cat familiar racing at her heels.

With a startled cry, the ghoul skid to a stop, "Nononononono! They're everywhere!" There was a burst of smoke, and suddenly she was holding a very feline cannon, "G-GO AWAY!" The cat-cannon's cheeks bulged out and it horked a nice-sized hairball right at the rabid giftbox.

There were lots of scuffling and thumping noises coming from within the box.

Danny was actually feeling pretty confident when it came. A great shadow that swallowed up the entire field.
JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK.
Danny was swallowed whole. She tried burning the inside of the box, to no avail. What, was this thing made of water? Ewww. Danny put that thought out of her mind. Then Edel came plopping in afterwards. Danny didn't even have to time EXACT REVENGE on the ghoul.
Seemed as though the present wasn't too happy having Danny shoved down its throat. All that fire was making for a pretty spicy meal. She was being spit back up as soon as she was thrown in. Danny shook her head and looked at the ghoul who was busy whacking the present. "Thanks buddy!" she said, running in to try and hit the mother-of-all-boxes box.

Well Danny definitely wasn't going to just sit and look stupid in the snow like some people. No, Danny was already on her feet and hitting the box again.
Hitting it with fireballs of sweet, sweet justice.

The frost demon plucked herself from the ground, turning to glower at the Mother of Boxes. Forming an ice sword, Edel stabbed the thing with such passionate fury.
She turned around to wave at Emily after that.

The box just gave birth. The box in front of her had just given birth.
Oh Jack the spawn had seen her. One was setting it's mother on fire and the elf one was waving at her.

Emily began slowly backing away from the group, eyes wide and chest heaving with panic. She raised her cannon again and fired, somehow missing the spawn but hitting the mother, "F-FAMILIES SHOULDN'T FIGHT!" She turned and ran off, tears streaming down her face. Why would they set their own mother on fire?!

Oh well, Roch thought, bringing up his guitar. Time to kick some jackin' box hard! He twisted, doing his favorite spin, building up the momentum on the guitar body, then slamming it hard into the box's side.
He hit it HARD.
