Quite frankly, Deryk was feeling pretty awesome right now. He also felt somewhat ready. The reason why he had been late? He had been in the library, scouring the hunter database to see if there was any information on how to best do this snow sculpture business. Having lived in California, he didn't encounter the fluffy white stuff all too often.

Coming on in, he grinned as he spotted Robert not too far off.

"Robert! Heeeey!" he called out while walking up to give a hug.

Marcus had no idea what just happened but all he knew was that Julie just smack Caelius down. With her bells. And won.

Oh.
Sweet.
Mother.
Of.
God.


This was clearly a sign that she was by far, the most powerful hunter on the Island.

Team The Three Wise Snow Balled Men(Women).

Dakota was sure something was going to go down when Caelius walked away to handle the attack of snow from the mist hunter leader and slowly chewed on his candycane as he waited.

He could almost feel the aura of death emitting from the Hunter, which had him chewing anxiously on the candycane in apprehension. Though...the candcane worked as a sedative and totally had the young moon hunter relaxing as he continued to watch Caelius make his move....

Oh...He's in...He's going for it...and...OH INTERCEPTED BY THE JUDGES. Dakota snapped his fingers as Julie turned the older hunter away and back to the group. Reaching out as the man returned to them, he patted the Death Division Leader on the back. There, There.

"You may have lost your honor this time Boss, but there is a way to redeem it." He held on to the Death leaders coat before clenching his fist, almost in fist pump action, "WE WILL CRUSH HER SNOW SCULPTURE. like literally...no wait...we can't...literally but...WE WILL BUILD IT AND IT SHALL CRUSH HER." He nodded sadly, there was no way that they could do that. So he looked at Ceres instead and held his hand out for her. "Do you realize that you look absolutely STUNNING in the snow? We'll build a snow sculpture of this guy here....and then I will take you to get some Peppermint PRESENTS." He instantly went back present mode.

"TO THE SNOW." Boss...Are you okay with us modeling this after you?" His eyes practically sparkled at the other man.

And then, even as he was pulling Clarice away, he felt Deryk slam into him with a hug. He turned around, going from enraged to ridiculously joyful, and reached out to pick up the man in his arms. "SUP BRO!" He howled, heaving Deryk up and bouncing him one, two, three times while laughing. Then he put Deryk down, and slapped him on the back.

So it seems... their Boss was defeated.

Something in the back of her mind was screaming at her, trying to command her attention. Personally? All she could hear was "just hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring ting tingling too".... Julie defeating Cael would need to go on the backburner.

Moving towards Cael as well, she did something that she would probably regret once this Joy nonsense was over with. That was? Reaching out she gave cael a BIG 'OL BEAR HUG.

And then patted him on the head.

"Dont worry, our Sculpture of you will be the best EVER." After all if they were his assistants... and they were making a sculpture of him. Cael would only need to stand there and pose! Reaching a hand out she grasped Dakotas, and she all but pulled him back towards their team sign. "Flattery will get you no where Dakootttaa~." She grinned at the other stupidly anyways, giving his hand a squeeze before letting go just as her eyes sparkled. "Presents? I will hold you to that, after we win this." The last bit was no more than a whisper. Competitive streak, who, HER? Nah. Never.

"Wooaaah!"

Getting lifted up like that might have freaked Deryk out, if he wasn't too busy laughing right now. Once he was put down, he stumbled a bit from the slap on the back but quickly straighened up with a big ol'grin on his face.

"I feel great man! All psyched for this snow building thing. Never really snowed at home. So never even built a snowman before. But I am ready. Oh man. I. AM. READY FOR THIS."

Team Kill-Jerry

Looking Jerry up and down, Killzone thought a moment, took another step back and looked him again. After several tense minutes, Killzone pulled Jerry to him and began petting his hair, "Man, Jerry...just...goddamn, you look like you were born to wear the power of positivity, man." He seemed to be getting a little teary-eyed at this, "Seriously, I was a little worried, what with you being a skinny little white dude, but you rock it Jerry, you ******** rock it."

With a small sniffle he let go, "Alright man, I've been meditating on out plan while you were getting dressed, and I feel we should create a piece of art that calls forth our pure and spiritual selves. So before we start I want you to think about Jerry's Spirit Animal, that badass Jerry Beast that's just prowlin' around in you, got it?"



Team Winning

The blonde elf nodded at the warning, eyes flickering around to give the other teams a suspicious glare. Especially the Death Hunters. Those guys were always up to no good and oh god Caelius, she always knew that man was out to get her, and this was proof. Clarice did her best to sweep the area Robert led her to for spies, but apparently one still managed to sneak through her guard. The attack was swift and...affectionate?

What was this manly show of fun and goodwill? Who was this Death Trainee? Why did she feel strangely left out? Where was his elf costume? Crossing her arms, Clarice gave Deryk a thorough once-over and greeted him warmly, "If you're spying for Caelius, don't think we'll let you carry intel back to his team. You'll be staying with Team Winning for the duration of the event." She pointed to her eyes, then pointed to back to him, silently mouthing I'll be watching you.




Team IFYMLN

Somehow, without anybody really noticing, Dr. H had already built himself an arm chair out of snow, upon which he was currently lounging with a bottle of peppermint Schnapps. He hummed Oh Come All Ye Faithful while watching the proceedings with the air of lazy, yet typically sadistic, interest.

"Intel-wut?"

Having arrived rather recently, Deryk was a little lost on any sort of animosity that might have been going on. But apparently he was a spy for Caelius's team. Damn, he must have been one HELL of a spy if he didn't even know he was one! Wait. That didn't even make sense.

"How did you know I was looking through the databases for snow sculpture tactics?" he blinked. Maybe that was what she was referring to. Shrugging, he thought for a moment. Her voice sounded familiar. Wait. He remembered now! She was the one the doctor shot! For a moment, the blonde looked a little solemn at this thought, even though she was obviously very fine. It soon vanished though, as he now realized that Clarice had more or less recruited him into her team.

"Wait. So. Got a team now? SWEET. Was thinking of going solo but this works too. Life and Death do work together a lot yes? Yes."
