Fox From Hell What ways can you get your pubs trimmed, cause there is so many ways. And which is what guys like most. A poll would be nice ^_^ (been shaving since hair started to apear and it has been hell cause I absulutly despise hair and stubble) Personally I think that the triangle that points down is sexy. But the hairs of the triangle needs to be trimmed short.

Well I shave and i take particular care doing it. I go slow and gently especially around the shaft and scrotum and I shave in the shower and I use both shampoo to clean before and after I shave and anti bacterial soap I think they make it for bathing and I use Aloe Vera lotion afterwards to help with the itching also for guys who are thinking about shaving I wouldn't recommend wearing boxers for at least a week cause it will snag and irritate your pubic area I learned the hard way.

luver_of_life I have the same question. I shaved yesterday and I still had some stubble. But now today as some of the hair is growing back in it hurts, itches and I have some small bumps. If I keep shaving daily will it hurt like this or will it eventually stop? And How do you stop the itching? Shave with traffic, this means in the direction your hair is growing [not the opposite way]. This wont give you 100% bare-smooth-skin shave .. but it will come really close if you go slow and pay attention. Its also almost garaunteed not to give you razor burn or ingrowns or cuts or whatever (as long as you use shaving gel and a proper razor). It also wont itch AS bad, but still might a little when the hair gets longer.
I also suggest you dont shave every single day.. you should space it out during the week (once or twice per week) and let your hair grow out a bit before shaving it again.

Does anyone have tips on shaving the pubic hair that grows between my labia (lips).
D:
I get hair that grows there, and in the area where my clitoris is as well, and it's really hard to get a clean shave. I always miss somewhere in there. ><
Or does anyone know any electric shavers that are for pubic area?

Is it normal for the area around my pubic hair to itch?
Is it just the hair growing?

Quote: Is it normal for the area around my pubic hair to itch? Is it just the hair growing? Yes, itching is pretty common since it's such a sensitive area. It certainly can be due to the hair growing in if you're going through puberty or if you remove any pubic hair by shaving, trimming, waxing, etc. But it can be caused by other things too. You can try a different soap, ideally one for sensitive skin without dyes or fragrances, to see if that helps. You can also try laundry detergent for sensitive skin. If you still notice itching even when your hair is all grown in, and if the soap changes don't help, you can talk to your doctor about it to find out if it might be a fungus, rash, skin allergy, etc.

Thanks.

I've been shaving down around my p***s and scrotum this past week. The hair that growing back on my scrotum doesn't hurt it's just the area from my "use-to-be" happytrail and downward. Right now I have bumps like non-other and it jurts so badly. I'm embarrassed to take my shirt off because I have bumps where my happytrail use to be. I guess I just want to be assured that after awhile of shaving down there I won't get the irritations or ingrows because I get that a lot and it's extremely painful.
What would be good to treat the irritation and ingrows/bumps, etc?
P.S. I've learned that shaving every two days is better than everyday, learned the hardway. haha.

I asked my boyfriend, and he said he doesn't use anything when he does shave below the belt to treat the bumps. He just lets the hair grow in and it'll itch bad for a couple of weeks and then it'll be fine.
He did say though that apparently if you shave often enough, the hair will grow back softer so it should itch less.

I got it waxed once and it was quite painful but not as much as I thought it would be. I dunno if its what girls normally get but the chick gave me a "landing strip" (?) dunno if that is what its called. Normally I just trim it and leave it neat but I haven't waxed down there again. Guys: How do you prefer girls to have their V's?

This thread leads me to believe that not shaving (See: Me) is far from the norm, though admittedly this thread has given me some advice given the time arrives.
as to adry's question of which I can only assume you mean the pubic hair above the v****a, I don't really have any preference, sure I have seen some different examples but honestly anything trimmed would seem best in my opinion.
