"Nah, I'm fine," he said, feeling a little bereft from the loss of the hug. He casually draped his arm around her shoulders, tugging her into his side. "But I'm tired of singing... so... got anything else you wanna do?" he asked her, looking down at her curiously. "Anything at all!"

Sure, Taryn had some ideas, but none she was willing to relay. She fell against Roch's side and put a hand to him as she began out of the room with him.
"I don't know... I'm easy to please. We could watch skellyvision?" She hadn't watched SV in... wow. Over a year?

"Okay, but you gotta sit on the bed with me if we do that," he said. "Every time Amrita comes over to watch something we wind up sitting on the ground and my a** starts hurting. And that desk chair sucks. I really need to get some more chairs in here," he said as he led her to his papasan chair like bed. He dropped down on it, tugging her down as well. They were good enough friends for that, right?
And seriously, the floor got HARD after a while.

"Oh..."
That was all Taryn could manage. She had never been in anyone else's bed, especially a boil's. It seemed improper, almost, even though she knew nothing would be going o-- woops! Down she went like a sack of potatoes, flopping against Roch and falling into his chest. Alright! Well, this was new! ...warm, too. Comfy...
Taryn settled in beside Roch, feeling only slightly horrified, and looked to the SV. Hmm, there should be a remote somewhere, right?

He dug under the pillow for a bit, pulling out the remote control and flipping on the television. He wasn't quite sure what to do with the arm she was leaning on, so he brought it up, draping it on the back of the chair as he flipped through the channels. Clef, his solar flare, jumped onto the bed, looking at Taryn for a long moment before climbing into her lap and curling up.
"Don't mind him," Roch said, barely glancing down. "He's not mean or anything. He's just lazy."

Taryn didn't mind the adjustments Roch made and instead smiled down at the mini that joined her. What a sweetie...
"He's very handsome," she commented, petting the Solar Flare and scritching him behind an ear. She'd never been allowed to have minis, herself. "What's his name?" She had yet to give the SV another glance.

"Mmm? Clef," Roch answered. "He's my buddy boil," he added with a grin. "He's the only one of my pets that likes toys." He reached out, his arm brushing against her side as he rubbed the solar flare's head. "I buy him balls and stuff all the time."
The channels flicked, changing and changing until he landed on the music station. It seemed like it was one he watched a lot. But the irritated expression on his face was surprising. "Johnny Danger," he muttered darkly.

Of course he'd be named something musical, what else could she expect from Roch? When his hand brushed against her she tensed somewhat, but relaxed again soon. They were friends. Close friends. They could do this.
"Why does that sound familiar?" Taryn asked, squinting at the screen. ... what?! "I saw him! In the tent!"

"Yeah," he drawled, snorting. "Jacker only knows four chords," he complained. "He doesn't deserve to be famous like he is. But hell, anybody will buy the same four notes played a bit differently with new lyrics. Music has seriously taken a turn for the worse when guys like that are at the forefront."
Somehow his hand was now resting on Clef's head, his arm against her stomach. He looked down, abruptly realizing it, then put it back over the back of the chair where it belonged.

"He seemed offended that we didn't know who he was..." Taryn murmured, furrowing her brow. He'd also made her feel remarkably uncomfortable, and so she didn't like him much. It might have been from that alone that she felt his music grated on her ears. She reached over and pressed the 'channel up' button quickly. Fame was a killer, for sure.
"I've never really gotten into the more modern music. I'm somewhat boring." The ghoul shifted, resting her head against Roch's extended shoulder.

So... here he was, on his bed, with a ghoul curled up against his side... He was still in love with Xiu, right? This was just hanging out with a friend. It wasn't as if they were doing anything bad. Hell, he'd done something somewhat similar with Amrita not that long ago.
Yeah, this was fine, he decided as he let her take over the channel changer. And slowly, even without his realizing, the boil drifted into a light sleep.

Taryn hadn't noticed either as Roch napped, and within minutes herself was feeling sleepy. She had had no intention of staying the night, but it was too late by the time she opened her eyes again. It was morning. She had fallen asleep on Roch.
There was a moment of confusion in the beginning. This was not her room. She didn't belong here, where was she? Then the red fur in her lap, the purple hair beside he-- OH JACK. OH, JACK, NO. Okay, alright... escape. Make a break for it. Taryn began to move slowly, trying to not disrupt the sleeping boil as she began to pry away.

Silver eyes opened and he looked at her a bit blankly. Wait... he'd slept? Not much, not as much as he needed to, but he'd slept!
... wait. That wasn't that big of a deal, because he SERIOUSLY couldn't ask Taryn to come and sleep with him nightly or anything, because that was DEFINITELY a dangerous situation. "Mornin," he said, barely covering a yawn.
Oh wait, he'd just slept with a ghoul...
Well, that kind of didn't mean as much after he'd listened to Vegas.

Woops! Taryn froze, watching Roch stir, with an arm in the air and half-bent out of the bed. Her glasses and hair were deeply askew, and she glanced away. Could she still make it? ... no. No, probably not. Roch yawned and she yawned, clapping both hands over her mouth.
"Ah haurry!" she said mid-yawn, and then shook her head as if to clear it, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to fall asleep! I should go..." Taryn continued to get up, but unfortunately for her Roch's bed hadn't exactly been made for easy dismount. It was impossible to be ladylike and keep herself covered while pushing herself up. Oh, they were at an impasse.
Abigail awoke from the other side of the bed and turned to Roch, looking startled. It only took a moment for her to dive up under Taryn's shirt.
"No, no, stop that!" the host yelped, smacking at the new lump against her back.

He looked at her blankly. "It ain't like we did anything," he said, although a hint of red was creeping up the back of his neck. Her being so embarrassed--and him, he didn't really feel comfortable with the whole "ghoul spent the night" thing, either, to be honest. But it'd happened. Can't change that.
"You ah... you're still my friend, right? Nothin's changed, right?" he asked with a hint of worry.
