Time was dwindeling. Both Shevre and Zero Omega were very weak. After dodging one more attack Shevre took aim... He prepared to take a jab and sink his teeth into the Demi-God... Zero was weak but somehow holding on...
Shevre gave him an ultimatum, "I can't let you ruin Christmas Zero... I have no choice but to kill you if you don't stop this at once..."
"Its Pete Ain's favorite holiday.... I figured if anything could convince him to give me back my ape... then this would ... Try to stop me... You will fail " said Zero sadly
There was pain in the Demi-God's eyes, while Shevre gathered all his remaining strength. He lunged knowing it couldn't last much longer...

As Shevre collided with Zero, the Demi-God tossed him into the ground, then proceeded to kick him several feet into the air... Shevre was almost done... There was little that could be done to save Christmas now... There might be others who would try to defeat the incredible baseball announcer but no one would have the same drive... Shevre was crumpled on the ground and trying to get back up... Zero was turning away, assuming that shevre had been defeated. Shevre achingly got to his feet. and tried one last shot... He lunged at Zero Omega from behind with his last bit of strength, If his fangs didn't lock into place he would faint and likely die...

As Shevre leaped, Zero Omega must have heard the attack coming because he turned and retaliated with a strong kick in mid air, Shevre flew backwards and landed on his back with a thud, the metal blade of the machete sticking out of his side clinked as he hit the ground ... The Demi-God approached and looked into his face...
"It doesn't have to end this way... You can still save Christmas Zero" Shevre said as his vision began to get blurry..."
In the distance Shevre heard the demon announcer from Mortal Kombat shout "FINISH HIM!!"... Zero Omega bent down and tore his machete from Shevre's side with a twist of the handel, and Shevre blacked out...
He awoke the next morning, in his own bed with no recollection of the fight or events leading up to it... He had a pounding headache and assumed he had been on a terrible drinking binge... A massive scar on his side made Shevre assume he had done poorly while fighting a lycan the night before. Damned Werewolves.... Time would heal the scar but other things would not be the same... Christmas would be strange this year, an unexplicable shortage of candy, presents, and most importantly pie, made the whole holiday a little bit dimmer than usual... As Shevre uselessly searched through local stores for supplies he found that Christmas of 2011 was essentially a dud... Few people arrived at the clan party and very little food was available... If Shevre had known how hard he had tried to save Christmas he might have been proud and vengeful... But this year was a depressing Christmas... On Christmas day only 1 present arrived, an apology letter from a mysterious person with the initials ZO... Shevre looked forward to celebrating the new year with all his friends and throwing the best Christmas party ever in 2012
