C.J. looked over, cautiously leaving Misty's side for a moment to take a look at this robot that walked into the house. He inspected it carefully, an eye of a semi-trained mechanic. He let out a slow whistle as Arell hung out with Crystal and Dundee kept the bar.
"Sooooon . . . this kinda technology ain't been invented yet! Woah, wait 'til the folks at home see THIS!" he said, looking carefully.

Steel stared at the robot, then looked back over at Deadpool and blinked. "Date? I...don't believe robots have that kind of social function with one another." she replied. At least....what she read up on dates didn't apply to any robots she'd ever met.
Misty and Alex exchanged a look, then turned their attention back to the robot.
Shadow silently kept her attention on the machine as well.

"Really?" Deadpool set the bag down, lowered his mask all the way again, and looking at Stella, he pointed his thumb at the new robot. "Well, this one's from the future, so who knows? Maybe they've written it into his programs! Let's go say hi!" He walked up to him, and said, "Hey, robo-buddy! What's shakin'?" As he got closer, he really began to take in the whole scope of advanced tech on it. "Yo, man, you got some pretty serious hardware. You look like a dr-"
"Don't even think about saying it. It's already bad enough Disney owns you."
"Dammit! Well, you're lookin' pretty slick!"

Brigade responded first to C.J. "Incorrect. The technology to build mobile platforms such as this one has existed for over 300 years. The Creators saw fit to improve this technology every so often, and the geth have made their own improvements on the basic mobile platform design over the centuries as well."
Then it looked to Deadpool. "Logical error in questioning: Nothing is shaking at this moment, not counting miniscule vibrations created by movement upon the ground when one walks. Additionally, we are not a man. We are a gestalt consciousness of approximately 1,200 geth runtimes within a single mobile platform."
Aiden scratched his head, and Lucas gave a soft, nervous chuckle. This machine seemed to take things too literally. Then again, it was a machine, so that was to be expected.

C.J. looked stumped. As in the look of "did I just get corrected by a bolt pile?" Well, he did. The Marylander took a further look, trying to see how the robot worked. "Well excuse me for being surprised. First time I saw a machine that talked back." he said.
Arell smirked and watched from a safe distance, also keeping an eye on Dundee, who he and Antigua were working on the bar.

Deadpool shook his head. "You are one LITERAL S.O.B., aren't you? In that case, I'd really hate to burst your pseudo-mechanical bubble, but the years you pulled up from the internets are completely correct. It's 2011 right now, and by the time this RP is done, it'll probably be 2012, so both are pretty much valid."

Brigade looked to Deadpool for a long moment, analyzing the words the assassin had said, as well as Deadpool's mask, looking for a matching picture. Within a picosecond, it had sorted through literally hundreds of thousands of references, and by the time one second had passed, Brigade's runtimes had successfully located, and hacked into, SHIELD databases, looking into the mercenary's information.
"You are Wilson, Wade. Birthplace: Unspecified location in Canada. Your medical records highlight your augmentations; in particular your insanity. Therefore, your words cannot be taken seriously. Current data records from the Gotham Gazette and Daily Bugle have contradictory timestamps. At this very moment, one of these publishing entities believes the year is 2011, while the other believes it is 2012. Why is this?"

Brigade seemed to consider Deadpool's words, and a moment later spoke: "Please clarify your meaning."
To be quite honest, Lucas himself didn't have a very good idea of just what Deadpool was talking about. Then again, the guy was crazy.

Deadpool suddenly looked at his wrist, as if there was a watch there. "Aaaand BING! You're time's up! You have officially stopped being more interesting than food, Fresca, money, or women. I am going to go back to what I was doing now."
"What, talk to a robot? Gee, THAT sounds familiar..."
"Well, yeah, But the other robot at least looks like a woman. And isn't as literal."
"Touche."
Deadpool looked at Roxy, and said, "You know, I feel bad for him. I really do. I used to be an overly literal robot like him. Then I took an arrow in the knee..." And with that, he walked right back over to Stella and said, "I can see why robots don't go on dates now. No personality."

Brigade, far from being offended, actually appeared to lose interest in Deadpool the moment the merc began speaking to it. The consciousness within the mobile platform had decided that Deadpool, being insane, was not a reliable source of information, and looked to the others in the room.
"We wish to inquire as to the reason the dates we brought up in our discussion with Wilson-Wade are contradictory," it said to everyone. Lucas glanced over to Alex. "You, uh... wanna explain?" he asked her.

Roxanne gave Deadpool a puzzled look, then shook it off and turned her attention elsewhere.
Stella gave Deadpool a little grin when he came back to talk to her. "Only if they're built built with the right programs. I was made with just enough a.i. to have one. After a few more programs were added, the personality grew a little more."
Alex gave Sapphire a side-long glance, then sighed. "Well....as far as I know, it has something to do with a god-like being smashing a couple different universes into one. Timeframe's pretty messed up. Everywhere."
"People making it into this universe from different points in time. Like...two spidermen, same person, just different points of his life kind of different. And there's also the fact that it's one time in one city, the next day in another. It's litterally like sun over here, and moon over there. It's just....messed up." Sapphire replied.

C.J. stepped back away from Brigade. He and Arell went outside, the latter to smoke, the former to go get the hog from outside in and on the table. Arell looked at him a little surprised.
"How come you ain't inside wit' Misty? I put dat mistletoe dere for a reason, che'." he said, ribbing the Marylander a little bit.
"Ehh, the robot, that was a surprise. Then again, this is one wild adventure, so I really shouldn't be shocked at this point." C.J. replied. Pretty soon that hog would be ready to bring inside. He pulled out a bottle of Coke and smirked.

Brigade was silent for several long moments as the 1,200 geth programs within the mobile platform communicated amongst themselves the implications of what Alex and Sapphire had told them.
"Logical impossibilities exist within your statements. While the theories of time-travel have been explored, it has never been proven as fact to our knowledge. The rotational period of planet Earth allots for a 24-hour day, roughly split between 12 hours of light and darkness depending on what region of the planet a being is on. The locations of Gotham and New York City have differing day-and-night cycles despite being in the same region of the planet. ERROR."
Lucas sighed. "Brigade, I apologize, but quite honestly, very little has made any sense to anyone here, and this Multiversal Merge first occurred months ago. The effects of it are still being felt by pretty much everyone, especially here on Earth, and judging by your arrival, people from wholly different universes are showing up sporadically. It's utter chaos. You might be a robot--"
"Correction: We are a gestalt consciousness within a single mobile platform designed to--"
"Whatever! But the point is, attempting to make complete sense of this situation is utterly futile for even the most logical of beings. It's best to simply accept it and go with the flow," Lucas finished. Brigade fell silent once more for a few moments.
"We have reached a consensus: Ellison-Lucas' assessment is a viable solution to our inquiry." Brigade announced.

C.J. poked his head in real fast. "Hey, any'un want anything while we're out here? We're gonna bring in the hog in a bit here." he suggested when he heard the robot confirm something. Oh cool, so it ain't here to make a monkey out of everyone here. he thought, smiling.
