Jude stared at Robert after this reaching to drink his own cup of coffee before setting it down and saying, "Sorry. It's the question not me. I had you figured for a lady's man."
He would have re-acted the same he supposed. He scribbled down the answer given to him and found that it was a rather...Nice answer. He approved of it.
"Are you single?" He asked finally.

Robert's smile slowly grew to a satisfied, smug grin. "Not at all. I'm engaged. Ever met Petra? She's mine." He seemed far, far too happy about his situation.

"Can't say I honestly have...Well I've seen her around I just...Never had the chance to talk to her," he replied quietly after he finished writing down the answer with a small shrug.
"That was the last question though. Thanks a lot." He even offered Robert a smile.

Robert almost looked.. disappointed. But then he started to wonder if this survey was for real, or if Jude was looking for a playmate. And suddenly, Robert was glad for his answers, and thankful for Petra.
So thankful, in fact, that he decided to pour her a cup of coffee and grab some donuts, to bring his fiancee breakfast in bed.
"No problem, man. Good luck with your, uh, project there." He waved a donut at Jude, and backed off to head back to his room.

There was a small thought that invaded his mind as he watched Robert back away and then his expression became somewhat panicked, "It isn't for me it's for the clowns in the higher ranks they're trying to do a matchmaking thing..something...Ah ******** it." He stomped his foot a bit, took his coffee cup and went looking for someone else to prod for answers.

Jerry was looking exhausted and battered as he limped into the cafeteria for his fift cup of coffee that day. Yes, blessed blessed coffee life blood keeping him sparkling.... metaphorically. He nearly slumped against the coffee machine wearily.

Jude still had a cup of coffee but it was due for refills so as he wandered back over there after trying to find someone new to take the survey he happened upon Jerry. He paused a little bit wondering if he should even bother the poor man who looked like he'd seen better days but...
...He had a job to do. Instead of tapping Jerry's shoulder or anything of that nature he simply spoke out, "Hey Jerry. You look like s**t right now but...I was wondering if you'd be able to answer a couple of questions for a survey?"
Slay 'em with honesty, right?

The Sun-trainee had fallen asleep with his forehead against the warm machine and at the sudden approach he jumped with a squeak, "RIP THEM ALL TO SHREDS, WITH A MIGHTY BARK!" He blinked, Jude's words slowly sinking in, and his face went red behind the tangle of scars across his cheek, "Oh! Ahahahaha oh, yes! Yes, sure! Sorry about that ahahaha... um...." At least his weapon hadn't been summoned.

Jude actually jumped at that sudden outburst that Jerry made using the clipboard as an impromptu shield for a second before it seemed Jerry was behaving 'normal' making him peek at the trainee over the edge of the clipboard with a bit more caution.
...Man did Jerry look like s**t.
"It is fine," he said clearing his throat after a moment and trying to relax. Sadly in the event of trying to shield himself from harm the coffee cup Jude had been carrying fell to the ground and most of the remains had spilt out. At least it wasn't much. Jude gave the spill a mournful look before he tucked the clipboard under an arm and began to clean up the mess with a handful of napkins he grabbed.
"So..Jerry let's begin. How old are you?" he asked as he cleaned up the minor mess.

Jerry grimaced, and not because of spilled coffee. "Um..... um. You're not... I mean... this er... isn't going to be er... p-passed around is it?" He glanced around the cafeteria conspiratorially before crouching to help Jude clean the floor with a few napkins, His voice low and quiet, "Twentysixasoflastmonth." His face had gone redder.

"As far as I know it is between you, me, and the higher ups I am turning this in to," he said quietly as he cleaned not understanding why Jerry would want to keep the subject of age confidential. The age of twenty-six didn't seem that much higher than the trainee he'd interviewed earlier. Still, after he finished cleaning and then discarded the messed napkin and put the cup on a safe ledge he got his clipboard and simply wrote 'Twenty-six, trainee wishes to keep age confidential'.
Hopefully they would honor that.
Jude uttered a small sound before he came up to the next question, "What do you look for in ...a...umm...romantic partner?"
Only took him a few tries to find a more neutral term.

"Romantic partner, eh?" that was a bit easier to think about at least. "Weeeeelll~ She's got to be pretty," Jerry smiled, "And love music! And hmm.. yes, smart and clever..." He straightened now that the spill was taken care of, folding his arms before reaching up to stroke his chin thoughtfully, "And be able to put up with a bit of a wreck, ahahaha."

He gave a small nod in response though he reworded the section where Jerry mentioned 'a bit of a wreck'. Mostly because Jude didn't see Jerry when he honestly went bonkers and even then Jude wouldn't be able to qualify that as a 'wreck'. Everyone had their thing. Everyone had a hangup.
"Alright then the last question - are you single?" Jude glanced up at Jerry hoping the other Hunter make some sort of weird assumption like Robert had.

To that, Jerry suddenly erupted in heartfelt laughter, "For the first time in my life, NO! AHAHAHAHAHA!" Still grinning, he threw an arm around Jude's shoulder to lean in conspiratorially, "You know that Mist hunter with the bladed boots?" His grin widened excitedly, "Heeheehee."

Jude blinked at the reaction Jerry gave to the question but confirmed that he was currently dating someone which was more than enough for Jude. There was a sudden leaning and an arm about his shoulders making him just freeze a little momentarily before relaxing and nodding a bit, "Candace right? That who you are dating?"
Honestly that was a bit surprising. He'd seen Candace and Jerry didn't seem her type. Different strokes for different folks he supposed.
