He looked at her. stare
Then he walked over, and flicked her in the forehead. "You were there, with me, and I failed to do jack. As a year two, that was serious fail on my part, got it? And now you just expect me to leave my cute little underclassman to fend for herself? One that can COOK? Oh hell, no. What sort of depraved monster do you think I am, believing I would abandon a COOKING underclassman?" he ranted, dramatically.

Lark rubbed her forehead with her palm. From her seated position, she punched him lightly in the thigh with her free hand.
"Pfff." She shook her head and smiled up at him.
"Yer th'most crash hot friend a ghoul could ask for, Roch." Lark chuckled. He'd called her cute? That was something that Lark had never thought applied to her. There was nothing cute about her lean, long-legged self. Awkward, maybe. Cute?
Naaahhhhh.
"Now yer jus' bein doofy," she added, rising to her feet. "But if ya want to keep takin' pictures w'me, I ain't gonna tell you to rack off, Roch."

He grinned arrogantly. "I am hot, aren't I?" he said, either misunderstanding her accidentally or on purpose. It was probably on purpose. "Come on, let's take more pics of us to show your childhood friend! How about in front of the school? Or out in the scarefari? Or I could show you the maul! You been to the maul yet?" he asked, reaching for her hand.
He planned on dragging her EVERYWHERE.

Lark's laughter echoed throughout the auditorium as Roch led her out. He was incorrigible, but she could appreciate it. She would much rather deal with someone who was honest with her as opposed to someone two-faced. That thought had her frowning, but she wasn't going to let that get her down.
"All of them!"
Her laughter bubbled after them. She was so lucky to have him as her friend.
