xxxxxSanguine nodded as he looked at the landscape in the distance. He noticed that higher up on a plateau, a few miles out there was some darker vegetation. He pulled some binoculars out of his back pocket and looked through them at the plateau. Yup, that was rain forest vegetation alright. "We're going to be heading to that plateau in the distance, though, we'll probably have to stop for the night about half way there." He told her. Sabele snickered and faded away. He appeared next to Shock. "Kekekekekeke" It said. It wasn't like most pokemon, who use part of their name as their form of speech. His was quite, peculiar.

Alitira nodded before pulling a bottle of water out from her bag. She drunk a bit before closing the bottle. "Okay. Good thing it won't take us long to get there." Shock looked over at Sabele before flicking his tail in response. He usually didn't speak to anyone that was rather odd to him or people that were unfamiliar to him.

xxxxxSanguine put his binoculars back into his back pocket and payed more attention to the trail they were walking on. Looking for any booby traps or signs of ambush and the sort. He couldn't help it. He was a very precautious and paranoid man. He was used to having to avoid fans, adventurers, hikers, people form the TV, and challengers for the title of Champion. Sabele's smile(his straight face) turned into a straight face(His frown). He disappeared again and reappeared upside down right in front of shock. "Keke?"

Alitira followed after him, staring at the ground looking at every little detail. It was natural for her to look past what every person sees and look for the most important details. Shock kept his head up as he walked but stopped short when Sabele appeared in front of him. "Lux." He said before walking once more.

xxxxxSanguine was so busy watching his surroundings and making sure he knew what was going on, that he was paying absolutely no attention to the mischief making Sabele. Sanguine knew that everyone had only recently left, and that the good shelter spots were not all taken yet, but he wanted to hurry, so he could get the best. one. He looked up at the sky, and noticed that clouds were starting to move in from the west, but he determined that they wouldn't be here for a day or two. Sabele got a straight face once again and yet again, he disappeared. Suddenly, he was standing on Shock's back, though, he weighed virtually nothing. "Kekeke" He said to Shock. He was just trying to learn more about him. Though, his way of doing it was probably a bit annoying.

"So Sanguine. Quick question." Alitira said breaking the silence between them. "How do you know this place so well?" She asked glancing up from the ground to look at the back of him. Shock just continued to walk, even when Sabele was on his back. He huffed before glancing back at him a couple of times.

xxxxxSanguine was silent for a moment before . "I have a scout pokemon out there. Our minds are linked. So I know what he's thinking all the time, and he knows what I'm thinking all the time. He is how I know" He told her. Sabele walked up Shock'a back and, using his ghost abilities, put his hands into Shock's head. It probably wouldn't hurt or anything like that. It most likely would just feel weird.

"Linked minds? That's a new one." She mumbled playing with the cap on the water bottle. Shock shook his head a bit before flicking his ears a couple trying to get rid of the weird feeling in his head.

xxxxx"Kekekekekeke" Sabele chuckled as he pulled his hands out of Shock's head. He sat down on the air and floated right above Shock's head, laughing at his mischief. "Yes. It's a long story." He told her. The long story was how he managed to get Garde. Yes. A very fond memory.

"Well I'd like to hear it. I like stories." She said. Shock made a low growl, and flattened his ears. Alitira glanced back at Shock when he growled but looked ahead.

xxxxxSanguine closed his eyes for a moment and gathered his thoughts. "It was a couple years ago. Four to be exact. It was a month or two after I defeated the champion. I had traveled down to Dewford and explored the cave where I found Sabele and Aegear, whom you'll meet later. I then traveled way North, even past the Kanto and Johto regions, to a place called the Sinjoh Ruins; the place I trained until recently. Anyway, there was a village nearby, so I stopped to get supplies. I asked around about the Sinjoh Ruins, and figured out that it was the birthing place for the first humans, in legend anyway. I also discovered that there were some shady looking characters hiding there. That was about all I got out of the townsfolk. So, I traveled to the Sinjoh Ruins. There I found the supposedly disbanded Team Magma. I still don't know what they were doing there, nor do I really care. All I know, is that they were disturbing the place big time. There were a lot of Pokémon there, but they all had been captured and were being forced to work. Using my first Pokémon, I managed to take down Team Magma. In the process, I met a Ralts. It saw how close me and my Pokémon were, and we didn't even need to talk to communicate, so it linked our minds, and made our bond as strong as it possibly could. After that, it helped me drive out Team Magma." He said to her. Sabele floated away from Shock, his smile turning into a frown. He grabbed onto Sanguine's pant leg, and because he weighed virtually nothing, Sanguine didn't even notice. "I guess it's not really that long of a story." He said, mainly to himself. "Kekekeke" Sabele said as he looked up at Sanguine.

Alitira listened speaking. "It's been awhile since I've heard anything about Team Magma and that must be some strong bond you two have. I would love to meet him sometime if you don't mind.." She said with a chuckle. "Hmm." She mumbled tapping her chin. "Maybe you can even meet the rest of my team." She suggested drinking the rest of the water.

xxxxxSanguine looked down and saw Sabele practically asleep on his leg. He bent over and picked him and sat him on his shoulders. "That could be a small problem. He doesn't really like people. He's never really shown his face to people other than me and the previous Hoenn Champion." Sanguine said. When she mentioned showing him the rest of her team and smiled a little. "That would be cool"

Alitira frowned but nodded. "I understand. And you'll see them whenever we stop for a rest." She said a smile coming back to her face. "They need to get out of their pokeballs once in awhile."

xxxxxSanguine looked around and noticed that it was starting to get dark, to the point were extra light would be a necessity in about half an hour. "Go look for some firewood." He said to Sabele as he shook his head a little. Sabele nodded and disappeared. They were only about a mile from the land rise now. Sanguine then let out Aegear, his abnormally large Aagron. "Move on ahead to the edge of the high rise. Make a shelter" Aegear roared and walked to the side of the path, then started digging. Sanguine let the other Pokémon in his arsenal out of it's Pokéball/ "Garde, move forward and scout the area for any threats. Let the others know the second you find any." Garde nodded before flying forward. Sanguine put his hands in his pockets and started walking slightly faster.
