Amaterasu heard Lillian and her friend Shiro approaching, so she decided to meet up with them. She walked along the hall, flowers blooming as soon as her feet left the ground to step. She hoped she wouldn't seem to large, or scary.

She knew her good friend Amy (Her wolf from her past life) was a big wolf, but it seemed her good friend the Earth had made her form bigger to take on the Goddess role. Her face gleamed when she reached them, and greeted them with a warm, loving smile. "Welcome." She spoke, her voice powerful, demanding. Her green eyes showed welcoming as well, as flowers bloomed all around her feet as she stopped.

Lillian couldn't help but to barrel straight into her entity upon hearing her voice. "Lady Amaterasu!" She squeaked, childlike, her tails wagging furiously. It takes her several moments before she can regain her posture. When she does, she takes a step back and bows formally to her Goddess. "Sun has retreated from the battle, but not before I was able to do extensive damage to them." She reports, her eyes flashing the haunting sadistic humor that sometimes lingered after a fight. "Shiro has escorted me back because..." She trailed off, knowing Amaterasu would be able to guess at the transformation, and probably the all-too-sudden change back. It had been painful and confusing, and she was obviously still a little unbalanced as she was sitting rather than standing.

Early morning, burning flame...

Solaris raised his head as a soldier hurried in and whispered something in his ear. The entity says nothing, but raised his wings with grace and flies once more out of his window. He flew over the flames, wingtips barely grazing it. To anyone else, the fire would have burned badly. But not for Solaris. The great phoenix landed about a foot behind the healers, and his eyes gleamed with recognition of the two. "I was wondering if you'd come." He said with a slight hint of laughter in his voice. With a sweep of one giant wing, a hole spread in the flames wide enough for the three to go through safely. "Equi, Sol, the two of you are always welcome in my Kingdom, but please take no offense at the extra defenses you are seeing." He spread a wing as he spoke, indicating the ranks camped just outside the Kingdom walls and the impregnable wall of flames that blocked any ground attempts to penetrate the forces. "I have a feeling that Sunmoon will be quick to lash out at my withdrawal, as that is not what they wish..." He trails off, but there is a look in his eye that says he already has a few strategies running through his mind. Warriors step respectfully aside as the Entity escorts the two to the infirmary. "The flames will remain open until you leave, then they will close on their own."

Come to me, shed your fame.

Қala and Ϛcythe

Kala weaves through the trees of Sunmoon. He'd seen it before, the source of power for his Kingdom. He'd discovered it himself, but wondered why it was so far from the center of the Kingdom. He shrugged it off easily, even though the source itself gave him a sense of foreboding. He could touch it without being harmed, but he could feel the amassed power and secrets, waiting restlessly to be unleashed. Only, everytime he'd tried his attempts had backfired on him. More than often it had caused him to black out. He suddenly vanished into a hidden underground tunnel, following the path until he came to a clearing. The trees were deep shades of poisonous purple and the grasses iridescent green. On an alter in the center was the most beautiful gem he'd ever lain eyes on. The black, light violet, and sapphire swam across its surface endlessly. He circled the altar, ears twitching. He didn't touch it that time, but he merely circled it. The strange trees were grown too close together, their tops forming a canopy that would have sent the entire clearing into pitch blackness. Had it not been from the powerful glow the small gem gave off.

Amaterasu smiled and paid no mind to her childish reaction to her. Her face was a little serious now, "Did any of them bare a message?" She knew she had to ask those type of questions, so she would know whether to prepare to fight, or prepare to offer peace. Her eyes were knowing as to why Shrio escorted her Lillian back. "I thank you for escorting her back, I am sure she is more than happy that you did so."

Her green eyes looked at him. Her powdery, soft white fur glistened in the high sun. Flowers danced all around them now. "Ah, Earth you are frisky today." She smiled. She made a mental note to send a message out to Sun if there were to be a bad message sent to her. She would not back down, nor would she relieve herself of her amazing kingdom.

Lillian hesitated, knowing she was unable to answer because of what happened. "I am not sure, Lady Amaterasu." She bowed her head in respect and acceptance of failure. I had lost myself once again, and valuable information may have been lost.. "I woke in the infirmary, but I did see Solaris' white flames in the distance upon emerging from my quarters of recovery." She added hastily, but formally. "Didn't Lunaris arrange for a dinner among the entities? If that is so, may I know your show so that I can personally deliver your decision to attend to Mistress Lunaris?" Lilly knew this was a stretch even to her, but deep down she secretly felt like a good run might make her herself again. She kept her respectful gesture until her entity was to speak again.

Amaterasu thought a moment. Going to the dinner would show respect and equality. She nodded, "You are sure you are feeling well enough to do so?" She asked, a hint of worry in her voice for her. "I am to show at this dinner. This is a wonderful opportunity to make sure peace is met and kept." She knew she would have her escorts there, but nothing threatening.

Lillian raised her head and gave a small nod, understanding her leader's concern. "I will not let my current state of health get in the way." She replied loyally. Part of being the head of the Guard was to carry out your duties until death. If captured and tortured in attempts to have valuable information forced, a member of the Guard would remain silent until killed or released back to his or her Kingdom. Lillian shifts her paws and stood back up, raising her head and staring Amaterasu straight in the eyes. "By the duties invested in me, that I have carried out since my earlier years and by my current position as head of your Guard, I swear on my heart and soul that I will not fail you Lady Amaterasu." The she-fox says, reciting an oath that warriors often pledged before heading into an important mission. "If he wishes, Shiro may accompany me on my way. Should anything go astray, he can use his speed to return to you and bring what news he must." She adds, thinking a friend/companion might further wane Amaterasu's concerns.

A love that will last within your heart...

Lunaris spread her tawny wings and flew high up. "Medics, please assist the wounded and return them to the medical ward. Everyone else, please clear out and let the medical staff do their jobs." she instructed, ushering back her soldiers. She glanced at Shayla, who suck her head shyly and disappeared into the crowd with everyone else.

The entity flew back to her quarters, shifting into human form and walking to her door, still open from her earlier chat with Leon. She closed it and locked the door. Anyone who truly needed her assistance would have to find another way to reach her. She sat on the stone floor, staring up through the window at the sky. It was quiet, and the silence beckoned her to sleep, though she resisted. There was so much she needed to figure out before she closed her eyes...

She sat, silent, wondering why Solaris had called off his troops. Could it have been he simply wished to withdraw from the war? Or perhaps she had managed to say the right things to the forever plotting entity. Lunaris smiled at the thought, and tilted her head slightly. She and Solaris were the oldest of the three, now four, entities, and they had known each other for a very long time. She vaguely wondered if it had simply been their past friendship that struck some chord deep within him.

Someone knocked on the door, but Lunaris ignored it. She found her mind dwelling on Solaris, not just his reasons for acting as he had. Lunaris was certainly not heartless, and it was only natural for her to develop feelings for those she had known for as long as she had known the Sun entity. But she, the wise, old owl, could not foresee any way the two of them could possibly unite their kingdoms in such a way. Lunaris knew that her kingdom could not get past the silly prejudices between themselves and the Sun warriors, and while it may help win the battles, the truce would end with war and she knew it well enough.

Lunaris sighed, hanging her head and wishing to get rid of the befuddled mess of thoughts in her mind. The woman fell gently to the floor, and closed her eyes, finally allowing sleep to overtake her. She may still be able to hope for a message regarding her dinner from Amaterasu.

((*sigh* I want that crystal >.>))

Leon woke up in the medical ward. He was heavily bandaged and it was hard to move. He didn't know what to do. He stood up from his resting place and the nurses immediately tried to sit him down. He growled and tried to get to the door. I need to think... He limped past the nurses and walked around the castle in thought. He had messed up, a lot of his allies died all because he got in a fight. He didn't prove his country proud at all.

Leon was not paying attention to where he was headed. He didn't notice the tempature dropping. He looked around eventually and saw he was deep in the castle. Then he saw it, the door leading the chamber where it was held. The crystal. The source of so much power, but he wasn't allowed to go near it. It taunted him so much. He approached the door but it was locked. He remembered how many times he was told never to approach the crystal. He growled, with the crystal he could take the sun kingdom, even stand up to solaris he believed. He plopped down across from the door, staring at it but not making a move. He idley wondered when the next guard would pass him.

Shiro has very honored to be this close to the entity, he'd seen glimpses of her from afar but never this close. Upon meeting up with her, he bowed politely and kept himself in a respectful manner. His posture was slightly more stiff than usual as he listened intently to every word that was being spoken and was glad he had been of assistance so far. When the two began speaking of going to the dinner hosted by Lunaris, he was curious and wanted to help them in anyway possible. "I could accompany you if that is something you feel I could help with. I could scout the area as the dinner is progressing and warn you if there's any impending danger." Shiro knew his speed abilities well and knew very few that could match him.

Rei felt a shiver of fear spread like ripples on the smooth surface of a lake as she stepped inside the chamber. When hearing Xeklos plummet to the ground she knelt down and lightly tapped his shoulder once to check if he was alright. Figuring it wasn't much of her business to worry over him, she turned toward the entity and walked forward slowly and with nervous steps. "Yes?" She asked in a small voice as she bowed her head, avoiding eye contact completely.

A love that will last within your heart...

Lunaris opened onyx eyes, and wrapped her arms around herself. A coldness had overcome her, and she stood up quickly. The entity moved towards the door, unlocking it and racing down the corridors, her dress flowing behind her as she made for the crystal.

She rounded a corner, spotting Leon sitting in front of the door to the crystal chamber. "Leon!" she called sharply, approaching him fast. She moved in front of him, blocking the door from view. "You know well enough that this section of the castle is forbidden. You know very well, as I have told you how many times now?" Lunaris scolded, frown lines marking her forehead. "Please return to your quarters, you've caused enough trouble today, I think." she instructed, nit budging from in front of the door.

Leon winced from her tone. He deserved worse though. He didn't budge either, instead looked at her with a dead look in his eyes. Tell me why we can't use it. If we launched a suprise attack with it we could easily force the army back and make them take the defensive With your blessing I can control it! You know it's what we need to do! He was loyal to death to lunaris and the moon kingdom but leon was plagued with a desire for power that didn't fit his normal personality. The crystal taunted him and he often wandered near it not daring to enter the room, if he even could.

Lunaris sighed. "Leon, there are other ways to win a war. Solaris called off his troops, and I'm sure Amaterasu will not fight us unless provoked. I do not wish to divide and conquer, I will win this war with peace." she finished, stepping forward and taking up Leon's face in her hand. "We will never use this crystal unless the entire kingdom is about to collapse. Only then, will I ever take it from this room." she said, looking Leon in the eye.

With that, she grabbed his scruff and gently tugged away from the door. She needed to lead him away, keep him away, for she knew one day he would enter that room and take the crystal. And that would be the end of Leon.

In the back of Leon's eyes there was something dark hidden. He looked lunaris in the face before a whine escaped him. He let himself be lead away from the crystal. He slowly began to limp back towards his chambers following lunaris looking down. He made a resolve. Lunaris was too peaceful for her own good. If a drop of blood from lunaris was ever to fall in a fight, Leon would use teh crystal with her blessing or not.

Қala and Ϛcythe

Kala circles the crystal several times, musing how powerful he could be if he could tap into and harness its awesome power. It could be enough to give you your own physical form.. Scythe's voice comes to him, reminding Kala that he was not alone in thinking of what they might be able to do with power. The Twins had once attempted to fuse Kala's soul to an undead body, however that tactic proved too ineffective, and backfired as Kala's soul had been shot back into his host body - his brother, Scythe.

The thought of using the crystal's power to create a mortal form for Kala was an ingenious plan. However, only an entity can tap into the life-force that holds up their Kingdom. Kala sighs as his control slowly slips and Scythe's appearance takes back over. The two never fight over who controls who, it is more of a mutual agreement of when one takes over their physical form. This always proves most effective when the Twins are up to their usual fun. Scythe turns and, grudgingly, pads away from the place of power. He could never reveal its position to anyone else, nor allow it to be destroyed. If only there was some way, Twin, that we could get our paws on that power..
