He looked up with a snort, bits of gore on his face with the blood. A piece of the liver dangled from his mouth as he soon sucked it in like a noodle. "You going to just sit there or you going to eat?" He looked at the elk and gave yet another snort. He'd have preferred to eat the think alive and squirming but this way.. this way would suit well enough. Tearing out bits of oufall out with his paw, he looked for the more choice left overs and set to eating them too before starting on the rest of the carcass. He was going to enjoy this meal and when he soon became full, he walked a bit away to leave the rest for her. He'd killed and eaten and done as he would for his sister had she been there with him instead. More out of a habit. He didn't often hunt with others but occasionally he let Frost tag along to give her a bit of a reprieve from watching the den. Sprawling out in the dead leaves, he watched the female.

She wrinkled her nose at the remains. "Well, it's hardly fresh now," she said, absently as she stretched. "I only eat fresh meat. But this was certainly an entertaining diversion before I hunted my own breakfast."
And with that, she jumped down and sauntered off to find her own prey, not expecting him to follow, not caring if he did.

Heziah shrugged nonchalantly as she turned down his offer. "So be it.. I didn't think you'd be able to tolerate the screams and cries of the pathetic thing so I snuffed it's life out." Eyeing the still good meat, she picked it up and watched her wander off. He had her scent now.. but he needed to leave this meal where his sister could get to this. It was his turn to observe this female's hunting abilities. See if she could be of real use to his pack after all.
His ear gave a twitch towards the direction he knew the rest of his pack to be. Ah yes.. he could just leave this here and expect either his sister, brother, father or mother to come across it. Not bothering with trying to even hide the carcass, he shifted to his feral form and slunk off after the female.

Kali picked her way daintily through the forest, her ears twitching every so often as she listened for the sounds of a potential meal. She was soon rewarded by the splashing of water. Following the noise, she smirked as she came across a small herd of deer.
For a moment, she lay in wait, watching them, picking out the strongest. There was clearly plenty of fight in him, and enough meat on his bones to satisfy her. With her eyes on her prize, she snarled and leaped out, startling the herd. Very much as Hez did, she chased her chosen victim, allowing the stag to stay just ahead of her, just out of reach. Allowing him to think that he could escape, all the while nipping and slashing at his flanks.
When she grew bored of chasing him, she went for the figurative kill. She took her feral form and bounced onto its back, digging in her claws while he bucked and tried to free himself of his burden. And then... she took a bite out of his back, savoring the screams of pain. She ate, while the stag still struggled, and when she was full, she jumped free and sauntered away from her still living breakfast.
Oh, it wouldn't live for much longer, but she didn't care.

He was able to keep her in sight, waiting to see her hunt. Just as he'd thought he'd grow bored, she leaped into the chase. This was proving to be a bit more amusing to him after all. She seemed like she was an adequate hunter. Leaping into the trees, he kept to his feral form as he followed her chase, staying back far enough to keep an eye on the show.
Her choice in how to eat amused him greatly. It'd been just how he'd have usually eaten his own meals. She was as malicious as he was, this strangely pleased him. Sitting on the branch, he watched as she devoured the beast, it's screams and agony music to his ears. He was finding she was a female after his own pleasing.
How strange.. to once loath a creature so.. to now see her in a new light all together. He might just have to keep her around after all.. See what more she could do and how she could be of service to him. He was starting to become more interested in her as he watched her. Well toned, strong, and perfectly malicious and sinister. All qualities he liked.. they were after all qualities he had in spades.

Kali wandered a bit away before sitting and proceeding to clean her bloodied claws. "Bored yet?" she purred without looking up. She couldn't be certain that he was actually there, but she was pretty certain that he was. Her snowball didn't seem like the sort of male to allow her off in his territory without monitoring, so she thought it a safe guess that someone was watching her.

"Amused mostly." He said with an eerie purr as he dropped down from the tree he'd been watching her from. "Your hunting skills and mine seem terribly fitted, kitten." His tail flicked as he lifted a paw and just now began to clean the blood from it. "Perhaps it would be more amusing to keep you around..." His eyes lit up in that cold way that said he was clearly thinking of the delightfully horrible things two such skinwalkers as they could reap throughout the lands.

She hid a smirk behind the paw she was licking clean. Kali could barely suppress her own purr of satisfaction. She had him, she knew it. All she had to do was decide if she even wanted to keep him or not. He was entertaining enough for the moment.
"Assuming I wish to stay around," she murmured, contemplating playing hard to get. It would be a tricky ploy...

His shoulders twitched in a shrug. "Stay, leave.. you choice.. I can't very well order you around since you're not of the pack... not yet at least. That is if you're still interested in our pack." He wasn't going to play games of hard to get . Hell he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to keep her just yet.. He wanted to study her for not but she had caught his attention which was more than could be said for any thing else he'd met along his routine days of hunting.
He allowed his still slightly dirty paw drop back to the ground. He'd find a spring and lounge in it later. He knew of a hot spring and it was like his own treat to himself to steal away and soak in it, letting the heated waters work at the muscles.

She smiled knowingly. Alright, hard to get wouldn't work on this male. That was fine. But she wasn't going to go panting after him. That simply wasn't in her nature. As interesting as he was, he wasn't THAT interesting. Besides, why beg for something she could take? Once she decided what she wanted from him, anyway.
"I do like to keep my options open," she purred.

He shrugged once more as he eyed her over, sizing her up as he did so. His attention waned to the bushes and the direction he knew that hot spring to be. How his muscles would love to have their soak, the only issue for the moment was the female before him. "I think this blood needs more than a rough tongue to loosen." He stated. He wasn't terribly vain, he just knew if blood was able to be detected on him his chances of sneaking up on game were slim. "You're welcome to follow I suppose.. " He stated as he started off in the direction of his hot spring. "That is unless you don't like to get wet." He looked back at that smirk that was in it's own way a challenge to see if she'd squirm at the thought of water.

"I'll admit I'm not a fan of water," she said, easily as she followed him. She had the feeling this was some sort of test. A shame she didn't much care if she passed. "I'm less of a fan of dirt. What did you have in mind, exactly, my fuzzy little lintball?"

His tail gave an idle flick as he walked in silence a while. "A long soak in a purrfectly heated spring." He gave her a light smirk. "It does a delightfully wonderful job at soothing the muscles after a nice hunt. Not to mention it keeps any would be muscle cramps from making any issues at the worst timing." Few things was he stickler for.. pure bloodline, lack of mercy... death mayhem and destruction. All the minor details to make a deviously evil mind happy. Good care for one's muscles was top of his list of things to be nit picky about. "I won't stand for shoddy care for one's body." Her purred the words as fact. He would expect even his own sister to keep herself in grand conditioning, a new comer he'd expect more from.

"Mmm," she hummed thoughtfully. She didn't like being wet, but she did like being warm, and the idea of a nice soothing soak would do wonders for getting the blood and grit out of her fur. "Alright, fluffy. We'll try this hot spring of yours. Mustn't let our muscles tense."
Yes, there was a bit of mocking in her tone, and yes she was goading him halfheartedly. They'd gone a whole minute without sniping at one another. Not serious sniping. That simply wouldn't do.

He sneered at her remark. "At least I take care not to wreak of past kills." He grinned mockingly at her, sharp teeth flashing in the light they caught only slightly. "Besides.. If you're really so loathing of water.. then don't join me.. you can stink up your own hunts in the future and when you pull or strain a muscle.. then I hope I'm there so see it." His eyes held no mercy. He'd surly take her out if she showed any weakness that jeopardized her ability to hunt. It was the way of the pack after all. If one was found useless.. they were disposed of.
His tail flicked idly as he walked on in silence, waiting to see what she did in retaliation to being called foul smelling and unkempt. He wasn't about to admit it.. but there was something about her wit and cheek he found almost charming. It was like staring at his mother with a different pelt.. And he respected her, Liked that she'd push back when pushed.. it was better than a dull thing who'd cower and just give him his way, after all.. what fun is there in ultimate dominance when no one tests your authority?
