((Entering from Gauntlet))
Freya's Fear particles coalesced into a soggy, wet, curled up mess. She showed up just in time to hear Roch's scream, but she wasn't yet ready to move in reaction just yet. Instead, she unfurled an inch or two, and shuddered on the floor.
"Okay, I'm dones with this place now, please. Takes me homes, now."

"Xiu... Mot..." Roch muttered, slowly sitting up again. "Who else? How many did I miss?" he asked, turning to Taryn. "G, was G hurt like this? Danny? Why the hell is our group facing off against jackin' FISH when that b*****d is doing things like that to our friends??"

Taryn initially startled when Roch screamed, and even to her that seemed a bit dramatic. She knew he had a thing for Xiu (although she realized now she didn't know if any progress had been made), but everyone was being attacked now. The ghoul stayed back when the guitar was wielded lest someone get hurt, but when Roch fell she went down with him and considered wrapping her arms around him. It didn't quite work. She patted his back and rubbed it instead.
"She's fine. Just like you..."
Not enough attention had been paid to the screens to properly answer Roch's question, so she left it there.

Fitzy winced as the glitter boil with the guitar began screaming at the screen. Obviously somebody he cared for had been severely injured, maybe even dead. Did that mean it'd be here soon? Strange that only the two leggers from the one screen seemed to be popping up over here so far.
"Would you stop that screeching! Your making my head hurt!" He whined, while not giving a fig about the stupid boils friend or whatever that he was crying about.
And then the blonde ghoul was suddenly in the room. Just as Fitzy had mentally predicted.
Just perfect. -__-

Roch looked at her. "Do you really think I'm fine?" he asked quietly. "Do you really think that didn't hurt? Just because I reappeared didn't mean it didn't hurt like hell. I have no FEAR shield. It's a wonder I'm even standing. This is the third jackin' time I've had this happen to me, and each time hurt like a sonofabitch. I'll be fighting off nightmares for months again."
He stood. "All reappearing means is you get the happy memory of feeling your a** get blown up to keep you company at night."

And suddenly, a Freya.
It was probably a good thing, too.
Moving to Freya with a quickness that belied his size, Herryk crouched down next to the ghoul. He brushed the wet strands of hair away from her face before rocking back on his haunches so that his a** was planted firmly on the ground. Yeah, so he was smeared in bits of cookies and smelled like mint. He was also pretty naked. None of it mattered.
Scooping Freya up in his arms, he settled her against his chest and stared at the screens on the wall for the first time since arriving in the room. There was some kind of... winged behemoth... and there were faces he recognized there. Herryk's face contorted with confusion as he watched, idly rubbing a hand against Freya's back.

Dying wasn't so bad, when it meant you would be scooped up like a kitten in the arms of a doting draugr, and coddled against him affectionately. Freya unfurled and wrapped her arms around Herryk, keeping her eyes closed even as she nuzzled her face happily into his chest. "Okay." She whispered in contentedment. "Maybe not quite ready to go homes yet, if I get to stays here."
She pulled her head away and pressed her lips against his skin, then grinned up at him impishly.
"So what's goings on in this thread?" She finally noticed the screens, and her brow furrowed. "What are we watchings?"

Taryn's face screwed, and she abruptly pulled her hand back to her chest. After a moment she brushed her hair back behind her ear.
"Well, fine," she grumped, standing and stepping back. She wasn't sure what else to say. She only knew that she was offended. Feeling a bit nervous, she turned her back to Roch and pretended to watch the screens.

((Entering from Redux))
One moment the ghost had been sitting on the battlefield, the next he'd be struck and everything had gone back. Now he was sitting up with a rather unhappy groan, palms rubbing over his eyes, and wondering what the ******** had just hit him. A second or two later he realized he wasn't on the battlefield anymore, and a second after that it dawned on him what must have happened. "Great, just once I'd like to go on a field trip for this school and not die." Was that really too much to ask? Apparently it was.
At least he wasn't in pain anymore, or exhausted. That was a plus, though as his attention turned to the various screens displaying the chaotic scene on the battlefield he'd just left.. No wait. That wasn't t where they'd come from.. Glowing eyes narrowed, then went impossibly wide as a dark little figure on the screen demanded his attention.
It was Junko, Sprawled along the ground and covered in blood. There was lots of s**t going on around her, but the ghost couldn't take his eyes of her prone frame as he got to his feet and crossed the room to stand in front of the screen. Dark fingers reaching out to press against the surface. "Junko.."
Where the ******** was she? He didn't recognize the surroundings. He did however recognize the white and gold coats on some of the people darting around. Hunters.

Herryk grunted in answer to Freya, clearly preoccupied by the action displayed on the screens. He could see Lattice and Mot, Hel and Tess. It baffled the draugr. His attention shot to the side when a new boil appeared, and Herryk offered a brief nod in greeting before his eyes moved back to the screens. Another screen displayed others he recognized. Barth, Calder, Christof.
"A battle," Herryk murmured, kissing Freya's temple distractedly.

He could hear Xiu's screams, Mot's scream, the two mingled together, echoing with pitch perfection in Roch's mind. He dropped down on the couch, wanting to cover his ears, but not doing it. He hated this field trip. He hated it with a passion. Almost as much as he hated the hunter b*****d that had done those things to his friends.
And not quite as much as he hated not being able to do a jackin' thing except sit here and watch.

Now what was this? The two leggers had defeated the fish, and then there was a beam of light...
...and then they were gone from the screen? "Whaaaaaaat? What is going on?!" Fitzy whined, flying forward to whack at the screen with his arm as though that would make the two leggers come back. He was still upset that he couldn't seem to keep up with the action, what with being distracted by the fleshies that kept popping into the room.
And then another fleshie popped into the room. Great.

So many of the faces on the screen were familiar. She reached out, and touched the screen that flickered her sisters face with a single finger. Then her eyes moved to Lattice's image, and her silly, vacant grin fell from her lips. Her empty eyes filled with some sort of indecipherable emotion, and she pressed back against Herryk.
"Cans we not gets to them? Helps them?" She whispered up at the draugr, now that her attention was focused with violent intensity on the screen that held her loved ones.
The shivers returned.

Herryk blinked as a flash filled the screen that had displayed the room he'd recently left. When he focused again on another screen, he was shocked to see that everyone that had been in his room with him -- on the field -- they were now staring up in awe of the winged beast.
"Herryk... doesn't think so," he whispered, his voice laced with sadness. He was worried about Freya's fragile state of mind and yet he couldn't bring himself to lie to her, to tell her everything was going to be okay. Herryk wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he said those words to her only to have everyone explode.
"Herryk is sorry, Freya." For so many things. So many, many things.

There was a small, quiet part of Freya that wanted to turn her gaze away from the fighting and look up at the boil whose voice stirred her heart with his apologies. She wanted to pinch his face and yell at him for apologizing for things he had no control over. She wanted to wrestle him to the ground and pin him, claiming victory and demanding her prize to be a smile.
But instead, the shell of the ghoul that had once resided in the proud valkyrie kept staring intensely at the screen.
"What are you sorry for, baby boil?" She whispered, as her fingers grazed against Hel's face.
