((YAY BREEDING SLOT! NOW... Who to toss in the dark room with the nice music and stuffs...
I think Ney shall go again~!))
"Niko, would you like to dance again? We won that round... maybe we can win more stuff!" Ney clapped excitedly. She offered him a hand to help him- he'd faltered a little, she thought- and offered him a wide grin. "You dance really well!" she complimented him.

Niko laughed and played it off as if nothing had happened. " I'd love to dance again. We make quite the handsome pair." He took her hand anyways, tossing back the rest of his champagne. A slow number began to play...

((Yes...I like to rp with myself sweatdrop ))
After getting the flour and kitchen cleaned up Anneth was pleasantly surprised to see Page holding up the book she had written for her. Anneth lifted the child up and took her to her comfiest chair by the hearth. Page never really said much but she made her intentions known. Both curled up together to read while the smell of gingerbread filled the house.
A short time later a different smell filled the house. Anneth paused in her reading perplexed. Page tugged at her arm the pointed to the kitchen. "The cookies!" Anneth gasped and ran to the oven. The cookies were just a tiny bit charred around the edges as she pulled them out. Page giggled and hid her face in Anneth's leg.
Another sigh left Anneth's throat. "Oh well. Ginger snaps are supposed to be crispy! Let's get ready to go dear. I hope we aren't too late."

Sastrugi and Mantel walked slowly through the dim forest. Sas was critically observing each tree, she wasn't fond of parties but Tiri-ithl had supplied her with many useful potions over the years and she wanted to keep their alliance strong. If decorating a christmas tree was all she had to do to achieve that she was happy to submit. Mantel kept pace with Sas but his steps were slightly erratic, being dark was an advantage at night but in the pure white snow he stood out like a becon. Sas was teaching him how to camouflage himself by moving through the shadows, the same way she used moonbeams at night time. Mantel took his training seriously and was so focused he walked smack bang into a tree ...

It was a rather pathetic looking deciduous tree, barely 5 feet tall. Compared to the lush magestic furs, it's bare scrawny branches looked a little sad. However the more Sas stared at it the more beautiful it became. Each branch was covered in a light coating of ice and long icicles hung from the longer branches, reflecting the light and seeming to sparkle. "We're taking this one" she said brusquely.
"This one!" Mantel exclaimed, "it's barely even a tree!"
"Don't argue." She returned pulling back the axe

Being so small the tree didn't weigh much but in order to keep the icicles in-tact Sas would need Mantel's help. "Hold the top for me, carefully" Mantel did as he was told, holding the tree up above his head in a firm but gentle grip. Pleased that the tree would be safe, they started back down the hill to the tower ...

Down at the tower the party was in full swing, several other trees were already there but Sas saw a nice opening over by the beverage table. Setting the tree up on it's end she stood back to look at it. "We can't decorate it like the others" Mantel complained "there aren't enough places to hang things on""We'll just have to be creative then, wont we"Sas opened up the bag of decorations, pushing aside all the baubles and trinkets she reached for the small bag of glowing fungi at the bottom. Handing the bag to Mantel she said "Put these on the tips of the branches" he gave her an odd look but did as she asked. Looking around the room a bowl of beautiful golden pears caught her eye. No one appear to be eating them so she tied small loops of string to the stems and began looping them over the strong branches. Then she reached into her satchel and pulled out a bag of dried berries, their rich rosey colour would look lovely with the gold pears so she sat them gently in the forks of each twig. Stepping back to admire their odd little tree Mantel couldn't help excailming "it really does look kinda beautiful doesn't it Sas?" She smiled before pushing him off to go play with the other children. Tree

For completing the quest you find...Tiri looks at the tree the two put up together and smiled. It was different yes...but certainly no less beautiful. "You tow have done a wonderful job!" she exclaimed while grabbing the stack of presents to put beneath it. "Take one of these gifts as thanks." Three gifts are beforeyou: small medium and large.

ANd size had nothign to do with contents... Asd posted its random. LOL )) You Open the gift to find... An Owl Egg! it is in its own little nest and seems like it will hatch soon! Your little friend is on the way! ((If you want the nest added to the image of the pony or the owl when it hatches feel free to let me know. biggrin I do those certchanges myself ^^ ))

DieKraft Fe-Amon An Owl Egg! it is in its own little nest and seems like it will hatch soon! Your little friend is on the way! ((If you want the nest added to the image of the pony or the owl when it hatches feel free to let me know. biggrin I do those certchanges myself ^^ )) Oooh an owl, I love owls! biggrin I might wait until it hatches before adding it to a cert, it's colour will peobably determine who i'll give it too. Eeek can't wait xd
