" Don't worry about it. Did you see us fighting on TV? It was a good fight. Even if I'm not technically in the exams. But the proctors allowed it, so who am I to argue?" She turned her head to look at him through her sunglasses. She had completely forgotten that there were other people in the room. " Have you had time to check out the festival yet? I've been around the shops a little, and the hot springs. But that's about it...Taka should return soon. So maybe we could all hang out together when she does."

Noctis was still in the kitchen shaking his head at the idiocy of the police force. He watched the tv in the kitchen and saw Jae's fight end as the medics took her away. That's when he remembered his clones memory of Jae at the hot springs. He had a slight nose bleed which he quickly wiped away leaving a smudge of blood on his cheek. He then heard some noise and noticed some medics rush by. He followed them and they led him to where Jae was. She was probably disappointed that she lost and he was the last person she wanted to see. But he was gonna bug her anyways. He took a seat next to her and just stared at the ceiling copying her blank expression.

It was not flinching as if she was cold it was flinching in response to an automatic familiar feeling. It was still not enough to pull her out of her dazed state. She had failed. She had trained for nothing. Her strategy, her power. None of it was worth anything during the fights. She had been unable to down him. A swordsman at that. It was pathetic. She ducked her head slightly, a medic stopping her and telling her not to put her head down in case of a concussion. Jae looked up at the medic, her gaze slightly unfocused. Perhaps she had hit her head harder than she had thought during the explosion. She flinched as he lightly went through her scalp. She pushed his hand away, the medics finishing up with that last prodding. The instructed her to rest but not sleep just yet and to eat and get plenty of fluids. Jae nodded stiffly, the medics leaving. They looked at Notcis, a little unsure of whether or not to leave their patient in his care. The nodded to him and then exited, heading off to tend to whoever needed help. Jae let out a small sigh, sagging slightly and leaning onto Noctis's shoulder, where she rested her throbbing head against. "It hurts..." She could have been talking about the bump on her head or the pain and disappointment of losing to the red haired joke of a swordsman. She continued to stare at a spot in front of her, unable to really emotionally react just yet.

Noctis eyes opened slightly in surprise as she leaned her head against his shoulder. He wasn't really expecting that. Maybe she still thought he was a clone or something. He wondered how he should react, knowing that she lost her fight. He felt as if it was his loss as well. He was instructed to train her, and instead he just spied on her and sparred. He didn't really do much, though he regarded her as his student even if she despised him. But sometimes you lose, no matter what you do it just doesn't turn out the way you want it. He sounded like such a hypocrite saying that. He removed his gloves from his hand and placed it gently on her head. The cold from his hand might help sooth her throbbing head. He could feel the heat and movement of it."It's ok." what could he say other then that, he meant it was ok that it hurt and it was okay that she lost."You did well."

The pain got worse before it got any better. The cold began to numb her pain, Jae feeling a little drowsiness wash over her as she got more comfortable. The doctors words rang through her mind, the warning about not falling to sleep. She fought against the sleep that threatened to swamp her. Her eye lids felt like metal weights were attached to them. Aside from this fight she had not slept in a few days, the looming fights having stressed her out. It was all catching up to her now. Despite having been reassured by Noctis she still felt like she had disappointed the village and dishonored the Hokage. That weighed heavily on her shoulders. So bad that she felt like she was being swallowed by a sort of paranoia that the Hokage would turn her out for being a failure. Jae ducked her head down. Placing her elbows on her knees she covered her face with her hands. This was such a depressing sink hole. What was she supposed to do now. Her competency was shattered by a mere two points. "It's not okay. You know that as well as I do. I never pegged you for a liar Sunbae." Her expression was still dazed and her tone had no form of emotion but her words were peculiar. It was Jae's automatic reaction when curling into herself and pushing everything at arms distance.

Noctis noticed her saddened disposition, the loss really hit her hard he supposed. When he was pushed at arms distance he merely slid in his chair. He then stood and looked out a window."I don't lie."He said with some kind of tone that more like cocky or confident that anything else."Everyday people lose fights, they lose battles and they die."He said stopping for a second thinking about where he was going with this."You should count yourself lucky your still here, It's ok because eventually you'll make up for it...you'll get stronger." He said while still looking out at the white forest. It looked beautiful to him, reminded him of home.

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx  Entry into the waiting room was interesting. People were there, clumped together here and there. Probably in regards to groups of their villages. Either way, the medics (one graciously carrying Zay's pile of swords) while the red headed monk stumbled his way in, led to the combatants with injuries area. It was a simple enough place, that the monk would set the few swords he had on him to the side of the bed, the mummified blade, Samehada, amongst the pile. It was a blessing that few seemed to know the blade, and even more that it had a mutual respect for its current owner, himself.
It was brief, but he dropped onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling. He had noted that none of his fellow villagers were present. Was he the only representation for Kiri? no... He'd noted Nekita's presence was absent. He'd ask after that later, but for now, well... The monk sighed. Tired as he was, he wasn't to be permitted to sleep. It was going to be a long wait. "A man's soul wrought in iron!"

Shi finally dropped the two kids off his bac when getting to the cabin, two medics came out and assessed Doki first since she was out cold and brought her inside to get her healed. Although her pride would be crushed by showing how weak she was against Kyoishi who was loving the cooling snow on his rash burns that laid on his arm, leg and face. "Who knew snow could feel so good..." Shi rolled his eyes laughing and walked inside to warm up by the fire while his master, Kyoishi finally got out of the snow and helped into the cottage and to a bed to rest and get healed.

Al had been lightly snoozing as drama unfolded in the break room, but as soon as the announcement came on he snapped awake and paid close attention. Excited, he waited for it to finish, then got up and headed for the door, a nervous, but excited step. The thick haze would be difficult work with, but he could deal, he believed. He left, following the signs to the clearing.

Honestly, Doki just wanted to stay down resting. If the rash aches on her back and shoulder weren't enough, it would be the tv. She knew she lost, and accepted her now rival Kyoishi, for his win. But to her nature, she just felt so shitty about it. Even as the medical attendants had settled her wounds, Doki simply wanted to rest and rest she did. Though for a short amount of time until the news flickered on. A drowsy Doki shifted her head up from her bed covers to align her sight to the television for a few seconds before slumping back down against the provided pillow. Good for them.. Some really talented people..too bad I couldn't even fight any one of them besides my fellow villager...Ss....Oh yeah...wonder how he's doin.... Maybe, she should egg him on in his semi finals. When she wakes up anyway.. After all, Doki knew it herself that her rounds with him were rather reckless and unnecessary. At least she was two points over him in Style. She smiled at that one perk but then frowned in her napping expression. A shinobi didn't need to be that flashy, they had to be good. And Kyo was simply better this time around. Well, I guess I can make him feel really bad about it and have him treat me to some expensive meals..Yeah, that'll kick down his ego. Haha!~
Right as her thoughts were slipping into sleep, Doki's eyes sprung wide awake at the remarks of a bonus round. Then later, the opportune 'prizes' available. Her hunch was generally greedy but even so, it piqued her interest. Enough to get her to get out of bed and make it up as she would go anyway. "Pfhh...shheesh..." She mumbled, resting over the foot over her bed as she attempted to lie down. It didn't seem like anyone else was going so soon. So she would wait for a couple of minutes. Hm, I guess I was being too spoiled. Maybe just three free entrees.

Jae ran her hand through her hair and flinched as she hit the tender spot. The bump was still a little inconvenient but she could handle it so long as she avoided blows to the head. Taking a breath she stood, slowly. "Good luck." She said to Noctis's turned back. Jae was still a little undecided. She wasn't sure whether or not she wanted to go through with another fight. Not after having lost her first one. Ooeda's face popped into her head. Maybe she could find him and get his small dose of wisdom. That thought was shot down however for she had no idea where she would find him. It wasn't like she had a lot of time either. She was at a loss at the moment of what to do.

Noctis heard the announcement calling for everyones next match. He looked over at Jae as she told him good luck."You too."A cloud the size of a man's torso appeared before him. He walked over to Jae and hovered his hand over her head. Noctis focused on the area so that the cloud will lower down to it. This should help her heal a bit and remove any pains she may have. After some focusing the cloud was lowered to her head and pressed against her for a little. After it was done all aches and pains she had will be gone."See you later Jae." Noctis said walking to his next spot. He was off to the birth of autumn.
