Lydia plucked one of the berries, crushing it in her palm and smelling the juice. "Hmm... it doesn't exactly smell poisonous, but I am not sure." she wiped the berry juice on her dress, biting her lip as she studied the plant. "Well this is certainly an interesting bush."

Yori looked at her with a questioning face "What do you mean when you say it's an interesting bush?"

She smirked, "I don't think this is normally what you might find in our dimension." As an example, she took one of the branches, scratching off the bark. In Earth plants, there is a light green inside. This bush was black. "That is a sign of dead plants, honestly. Yet this is sprouting berries..." She scratched her chin in thought.

Yori looked at it and shrugged. He scrapped all the berries and leafs off then strung it to the bow. He grabbed an arrow "Time to test this out." He pulled the arrow back, aiming for the tree that was near by. The bow felt weird, but only because he wasn't using an actual string. "That'll do." he took the arrow out of the tree and put it in his backpack so that he could pull them out easily if need be. "Maybe this is hell." Yori stated "It's only natural that it wouldn't look like what we imagine it to be."

Lydia shrugged, "We won't know until we find Yamato. And she's probably miles away. We must keep that in mind." she said quietly.

Yori nodded "Let's keep going. We'll worry only when we get low on supplies." He said determined. It was almost like there were no spirits around this area, like they were the only ones in this world, but they followed the trail of the spirit. "Wow...wait, i've seen this before." he said as he looked at the bush with the chopped off branch. Yori snapped a look at Lydia "Don't tell me we went around in circles!" His hand raised to his head, completely in aggravation. "This can't be the same spirit." now he cast the spell away, not caring if he saw the trail or not and began walking where ever he felt. "So, what do you like to do in your free time?" Yori asked filling the silence.

Lydia shrugged, unsure what to tell him. "Well, other than staying as far away from home, I sometimes knit or find spirits. I do things like this, but on a smaller scale." she replied after a moment. "What about you?" she asked, curious to know.

Yori thought about home and became home sick. "I usually do most things with my sister, but we're good at tennis and sometimes we have drawing competitions. We're both artistic, it runs in the family, along with being athletic. Sometimes we play soccer or football to change it up, but we usually play tennis. We practically learned everything together."

Lydia nodded, smiling a bit sadly, "You must be going through a lot to have lost her... But with your determination, I'm sure we'll find her." She beamed at Yori, hoping to encourage him. She secretly wished for a sibling when she was younger, having always been mis-treated by her parents and having no friends. Her childhod would've been better with a sibling like Yori. She sighed, brushing away the thoughts and walking a bit faster, used to a quick pace.

Yori walked at Lydia's pace, easily keeping up with her and he smiled "Yeah, i'll get her back, no matter what! I mean it."

Lydia smiled, "That's what I like to hear! We can do this!" she said merrily, eyes gleaming with an undescribable emotion. She remembered saying things like this to herself, but it felt much better with someone by her side.

At a quick pace they continued walking, slowly getting darker. They started looking for another place to camp out for the night before it got to dark. An eerie wind blew, the tree's gently swaying, creaking. We stopped, Yori's heart quickening. "I can sense a big spirit coming." He said "Do you know how strong of a spirit it is? Can you sense it?" He said quietly as the ground vibrated lightly

Lydia's eyes opened wide, and her skin went pale. "Yori... It's huge... It's, the power levels coming off of it, terrifying." she said slowly, backing up carefully. She winced, feeling the spirits extreme anger and sorrow. She looked at Yori again, but then she remembered. They were going to save Yamato, and Lydia wasn't going to give up. Her eyes softened, and her lips set straight in a stubborn expression. "Remember any of the tactics you use to attack, because we're going to take him down. Nothing's going to stand in my way." she said, with newfound courage. She pulled out the wooden dagger, trying to recall any and every spell she had used on a spirit before.

Yori nodded and stood in his battle stance. This time he wasn't going to fail, he couldn't, not when he was going to save his sister. His face was determined, his mind scrolling down the list of all that he had learned. "This should be fun." he said blandly in a joking matter. "We can't give up now! Let's go!" He had his plan all ready to go and charged, chanting holy bible phrases. He rolled to the left as the spirit made the first move, still chanting. "Hiya!" he threw a small blue flame. When it hit the spirit it looked like it hadn't even made a scratch. Yori came to a slidding stop, his hand on the ground as he pushed himself into the air, dodging the 2nd attack. He was falling toward a tree and grabbed onto it, swinging himself up and standing on the branch for a second before he jumped into the air chanting a more powerful sermon. Yori gashed the side of the spirit as it moved out of the way. It cried out in pain, but there was still much damage they would have to give it before it was purified. He landed, rolling and then standing up on his feet as he pulled out of the roll then ran up to Lydia.

Lydia dodged the spirit's attacks, smirking when she realized something; it had bad aim. She ran in a circle, getting it's attention, telling Yori to hit him while he was distracted. She threw her dagger at it, the wooden weapon sinking deep into it's neck, but not doing much. She chanted a spell under her breath as she ran around, waving her arms to keep it's focus on her, blasting the spirit with an ice-beam from her hands when the chant had been completed. The spirit winced in pain, but it still had a good amount of health left. "Yori! Now!" she yelled.
