Like Shehk Sammy had hardly slept, then again it was pointless to do since she was a zombie. Her own bag was fairly close to Shehk's in contents.

Quote:
- Extra Clothes
- HATERade
- One First Aid Kit (From Shehk)
---- Packed with adhesive bandages, gauze, 2 ACE Bandages, prepackaged alcohol swabs, medical sutures, an eye patch, splints, and 'How to not kill someone while fixing them' instructions. Oddly, no painkillers. She gave a similar one to both Sammy and Toby.
- Painkillers for those less immune to pain, and herself if she got too roughed up.
- Flashlight
- Simple soap and shampoo, nothing more then a light mint scent
- 15 ft of rope

When she arrived at the portal she could only frown, this wasn't like the other trips. This was outside of Halloween, or something far far away. Wouldn't a training ground be in Halloween? Then again to train you might have to go outside a town full of monster to practice. It wasn't till she stepped through that she realized just how right the 2nd thought was. It was much the same as it was last time. The same sky, slightly different smell. All of it was just slightly off. Of course the first thing she did was look down and pat herself. "I'm not going to start turning invisible around here again am I... that was really weird...."

Moving towards the house she listened in on what Red had to say, only three pills, not a pleasing number considering the number of people in the party, hopefully they wouldn't need any but the way trips usually went someone would by the end of it. Slowly she made her way to Shehk shifting her duffel bags strap across her chest. "Well, this is it I guess...." as she stuffed the first aid kit proper into her bag.

Hel wasn’t surprised that Shun passed up the pills either, and turned to look at Mot as he put forth a rather forward suggestion as well. The reaper blinked, staring at him for a long moment before laughing. “Well, aren’t we large and in charge, this evening!” Hel piped, giving a firm nod of her head as she let Mitsu and Riyo take the pills from her.

The ghoul looked towards Riyo, tilting her head as she pondered her question. “It’s not wise to question the level of difficulty.” Hel replied with a small shrug. “The greatest foe can be the smallest thing, yes?” Five rooms didn’t sound that bad in words but…they would see, right? Though once again, her attention swiveled back over to Mot as the cowboil started to talk a mile a minute. Hel just stared and stared, a brow raised as if she almost couldn’t believe what she was hearing and seeing until Shun took the initiative. Here, Hel laughed once more and reached out to nudge the cowboil with an elbow. “You’re going to crash and burn before we even step inside at this rate!”

She then held out the last pill to Mot. "Here, yours for now as well."

THE HORSEMEN

It seemed the students wouldn't be the only ones going through the customs. No. Four other figures had taken it upon themselves to join the ranks of the students, though Invictus had taken less care in bringing much of anything with him.... or so it appeared to be. Perhaps there was something hidden away in those sleeves of his. Those sleeves which had been checked, even if the Horseman had made several faces about the entire ordeal.

These faces had consisted of nearly the same face, over and over and over and over again. He would never be described as expressive. At least, probably not by anybody who hadn't had a few years to study his expressions and know that he was actually just very subtle about them. Eris, Aisa, and Cymbeline were likely to have pegged his mood very easily with just a look by this point in time.

However, despite Red's....display...of distaste in the quartet's clingy nature, it seemed that Invictus had at least been able to soothe over enough nerves to talk his fellow heirs into at least playing nicely with the werewolf - after all, they did have a common enemy and if they played nice with Red, they would get more chances to come to the human's side and crush them. At least, that had been his logic, anyways. It seemed to have worked in the mildest of senses. Nobody would be going for blood, at the very least.

Unlike the fascinations the students may have had with the human world, Invictus had little with the very place and more with those within it. Those wretched little cursed humans and their little animals and their little buildings.... oh, he'd probably be more estatic than any other to see them fry at the end of things. But for now, they served as entertainment enough. Entertainment until the Horsemen overran them all. It was a delightful and horrible little notion. He'd entertain it forever.

But first, he needed to be a proper representative of his clan and make a greeting with the three who were standing on the porch.

Conquest ascended up onto the porch silently as the students went about their own task of getting their final supply from their superiors. Invictus's attention didn't linger on such a scene, however. It instead turned to the woman who was dominating as the alpha over the scene, inclining his head to Red in a manner far more respectful than that he would offer to any student..or rather, even more than the previous one he had given at the meeting with the student council. Clearly, he was making a point to play nice - though it still wouldn't stand next to the respect for his peers.

"Despite how things....ended.....last time, the four of us have come to terms with what you have said and the ..validity...of what you said and have come to offer our own powers towards this goal of yours." he said, though it was possible that only he had felt the former was true and was simply trying to keep things as smoothed over as he possibly could.

The Magic Busters

Colette raised an eyebrow, not that anyone could see it, and looked at her two teammates. "Ah, alright then.." This wasn't the first time someone had screamed in a misunderstanding, so she believed it, but there was still a hint of uncertainty in her voice.

"Anyway... Hi, I'm Colette," she introduced herself to Johan, "and it's good to see you again," she directed to Taryn, oblivious of her embarrassment and getting straight to business. "I grabbed the pumpkin pills for us.. is that okay? I don't care who carries them, as long as they don't lose 'em." Colette held out her hand to reveal the three pills.

"And have you guys seen the others?" Colette had only just found Taryn and Joachim herself, but not having the full team together made her anxious.

TEAM MAFIA

The baku jumped slightly at Lacie's voice, her eyes widening as she glanced over her shoulder at the reaper. "Oh! There you are!" Xiu offered her a smile as she stepped to the side, gently taking the other ghoul's wrist and pulling her forward a little so that she could join the circle. There, that was all five of them!

She was a little unnerved to find that Amrita's description of the previous field trips she had been on didn't sound very reassuring, neither did the fact that they only had three pumpkin pills for the five of them. Maybe...maybe they would be lucky and not need to use any of them?

...Unlikely, but she could hope, right? The thought made her shiver. It wasn't just this group and her teammates that she was worried about now, but her friends in the other teams as well.

"M-missing?" Her gaze immediately swerved towards Remi as the word left his lips. Surely the five of them wouldn't get separated in that house, would they? Her brows pulled together in concern, but instead of voicing her worries, Xiu gave a hesitant bob of her head. "I...I'm fine with splitting up the pills." As for how they would split it, the Baku honestly didn't mind either way--if anyone wanted to hold on to one, then so long as the other group members were fine with it, she was as well. Otherwise...rock, paper, scissors it was!

When the information about the field-trip had reached Moure's ears just a short time ago, the first thing the patchwork had done was go into his room, find a good, strong hiker's backpack, check out books on how to survive and what to do if you're stranded out in the...'wilderness' , and start planning exactly what he'd need to bring so he wouldn't die. The runner had taken a certain pink-haired ghoul's words to heart, and he figured that the trip was a death trap just waiting to be sprung, and he refused to be one of it's victims. When the time had come for Moure's pack (which was strangely similar in size and design of that of a camper's backpack) to be inspected by the gnomes and boogeymen, they would find a rather...prepared bag before them.

Moure's [strike]Paranoidly Packed[/strike] Backpack

- Strong rope, enough to fill up a few inches of the bottom of the bag, coiled up.
- At least 5 spools of high-quality thread, and a similar amount of needles stuck into them, packed in a little plastic bag.
- Two cans of spray-on deodorant.
- Two flashlights with extra batteries.
- An emergency whistle in case his group got seperated.
- Spare clothing, and an extra pair of shoes.
- Rolls of duct tape (if all else failed, he could always secure his limbs back on that way).
- A large bag of assorted granola-type trail food.
- A bundled-up poncho.
- Insect deterent spray.

Everything was packed up to take up as little room as possible, and Moure had managed to fit everything inside his bag with little to no problem. (He was the type of guy who actually packs a suitcase and plans on where each thing goes. Efficiency is key after all!) He got a few weird looks from the inspectors, but got through the portal with his pack intact.

As Moure stepped through the gateway, his eyes went wide. Where were they? The sky was a strange shade, not similar to their own world's sky, and the general feeling of the place was different. Where...where exactly had they been taken? Moure ran a finger across a few of his finger seams, suddenly glad he'd taken the time to double stitch any Parts he'd feared may have come loose. Which was generally just his left arm as a whole, along with a few fingers and some bits of his neck.

Moure moved from the portal's entrance and made his way to the general crowd that was forming. It was then that he got his first good look at the place they'd been brought to. The building definitely looked as if it belonged in their world, not wherever this was. The patchwork got a chilling feeling that, despite all his precautions, he might not be coming back with all his Parts intact.

Well, he was just being paranoid...right? Right?

Moure's face became a tad more relieved when he spotted Danny coming towards him. Her bright expression made Moure wonder if she'd realized anything about this trip, or about how dangerous it might be. He took the whistle out of his back and slung it over his neck, then put his bag back on on his back. When Danny gave him a hearty back-slap, he gave her a grin, then was bombarded by her excitement. His worries faded to the back of his mind when he saw how extremely excited the fire demon was to go on this trip. His expression was an amused grin when she shook his shoulder, and he said jokingly, "Hey, don't shake my arm off. I just got it stitched up, after all." He gave a grin though and a thumbs-up. "Anyway... are you ready for this field trip?" Moure figured he'd better know before hand if he was the only one who was actually prepared.

Willow watched the others being searched, she frowned. At least she brought normal stuff, she hoped. She'd left the minipets behind, most food, however she'd kept some spookies until they took them. There was a frown, oh well. She had packed liked she was going on vacation really.

Her tail flickered as she was basically patted down glaring at what she assumed was a brave gnome. The team clothing she'd thought had been weird and it took her a while to wrap her hair properly in the turban which is why she was late.

Finally she managed to get through the check point and out to the field just in time to hear Red. She also watched Bul go get the 'pills'; "I'm not sure if this sounds foreboding or fun...." Her eyes were on the pumpkin patch curiously before looking back at the group. "Sorry I'm late."

Vaith wasnt sure how he got into this costume or outfit .. or why his hair was in a ponytail. But this outfit made it so much easier to get through the item-checking process, if his cape had been there, it might have been trampled on or stained by multiple handprints belonging to various gnomes and bogeymen. That was one of the few things that would have started the reaper off in a foul mood-- but with his rather scarce clothing style, it left little to check. Except the awkward lifting of his armor to check underneath.

But soon enough, Vaith was in the clearing with the rest of the halloween students. There were too many of them to count milling around .. Vaith had stood there with arms crossed, red eyes staring in slight puzzlement as he tried to make out his group members. He soon discovered it wasn't hard-- he just became very absorbed in the costume show that took place around his. The dusk red sky, he simply couldn't stop staring at.

Eventually even with red eyes staring at the sky like it was a movie that one couldn't take their eyes off of, the low growl of is familiar revealed to him the location of his teammates. With the dragon familiar perched on his shoulder, it seemed to be wary with the presence of Aurian, Seiji and Junko.

"Three, huh."

That was all Vaith had to say about it.

It seemed Mitsu's assumption had been correct. Mot had fallen victim to the coffee much like Levi had done. At least the cowboil wasn't as physically wired as the tatzel had been. Mitsu had been pretty convinced Levi was going to hurt someone....herself included.

Reaching out a hand she patted Mot lightly on the arm. He was rambling so fast Mitsu was no longer sure what he was saying. "M..maybe three coffees wasn't the best idea." No, Mitsu was waiting for the moment when Mot would quite suddenly drift to sleep. She had seen it happen. Coffee was a fickle drink.

Shifting her bag on her shoulders Mitsu looked around at the other groups around them. Some of the other students she knew and she hoped they would be safe going through the rooms. She was worried about Xiu but it seemed like she was in a good group. Hopefully they would look out for the baku.

"I wish they didn't have the rule about no sugary sweets." Mitsu sighed tapping at her mask thoughtfully. She only had a few other snacks that weren't sugar related. "They took the cookies I made." Though, as Shun would probably know, that was for the better. Not unless they planned on using terrible cookies as a weapon against the enemy. Food warfare wasn't entirely out of the question with the way Mitsu cooked.

The Magic Busters

Taryn nodded and looked up to Collete. She looked like the kind of person you wanted carrying your health... however that worked. She opened her mouth to speak, but the only sound she could manage was a bare squeak.

"No," she peeped, her hair waving as she shook her head, "They're not usually late..." At least, Joachim had not showed up late at prom, but that was only one event. Maybe she'd be stuck with these strangers the whole time, and after making such a fool of herself! This field trick had been jackdamn exciting at first, the human world and all... but now she was feeling a little biased against it.

Natalia readjusted the gloves on her hands, smoothened out the creases along the length of her arms, sifted through the goods she had packed, licked a slick thumb to slide it across her brows...basically trying her very best to stall the inevitable--her short, dangerous voyage through that portal. Nevermind what lurked beyond it! What terrors they would face under the critical eye of their professor Red...SHE COULD LOSE AN ARM passing through that thing. Why did traveling to the human world have to be so complicated?

Backpack

x2 Deodorant sticks
x2 Bars of soap
x1 Jumbo sized shampoo and conditioner 2-in-1 (Wut the hell when will they shower?!)
x4 Zips of mixed fruits and other snacks
x1 Travel size make-up kit
x4 Sets of clothes (ghouls gotta have options)
x1 Brush
x1 Tooth brush
x1 Box of bandaids
x1 Group picture of all her minipets

While the line grew long behind her, the monster prompted those who patrolled the portals entrance with question after question...surely they had checked and rechecked the controls...nothing would go wrong while she was materializing...she had managed to get to the part about her longest extremity, expressing the importance of it in great detail when somehow she 'slipped' into the portal and stumbled out the other end; finishing the sentence in a shout. How wonderful the attendees were to move her along, even when she tried to voice her concerns. It was so typical Amityville.

When she had found her footing at last, the monster turned around in three tight circles before patting herself down and slinging her tail over both arms. A tentative smile crossed her lips, turning smug rather quickly as a hand freed itself from beneath blue and white fur to toss hair off a shoulder. All seemed to be in the right place...It was good to know those in control had done their research. Yeah. She totally knew everything would have been A-Okay......

......

...

......

Oh hey look, Mei and that one kid...Mortimer, wasn't it?

She wasn't too sure on his name just yet, so instead of calling out to both of them Natalia focused on the ghoul she knew best. "Meeei!" the groan resounded through the night as the source made her way over with arms stretched out--readying for a hug. It had been such a long time! It was so nice to see a friendly face once again, even if the circumstances they were in were fairly grim. "Hello, hello! We all look rather fabulous this evening, do we not?!" Turning her attention to Mortimer for but a moment, Natalia offered him a wave and a wink, kicking out a hip to settle a hand on. "The suit fits you particularly well, hon." He was definitely one of the luckier boils on campus, given the opportunity to team up with all ghouls...mostly knobs at that! Sure each and every one of them had a significant other, but with the facts aside; they were a hot bunch and he was privileged enough to stare at them and all of their glowy goodness whenever he felt like it. She was impressed by his ballsy move to approach them about the trip, and this showed in the moment as her gaze sized him up before giving a sharp nod.

While Natalia idly searched the crowd for the rest if their members, she replied to Mei's question. "I do not know what to expect from this trip, so I suppose I am nervous. Yes...But having you guys by my side definitely helps!"

To be honest, West hadn't paid a lot of attention to what he was getting himself into. He heard the words Field and Trip and had scribbled his name onto the sign up sheet so quickly that the paper had ripped under the manly force of his pen. Unlike most of the students at Amityville, he had very few negative feelings associated with their previous trips, in fact, out of everything he'd experienced while attending this school, those trips had been clear highlights.

The only thing he wasn't quite so sure about this time was the presence of one of his supposed teammates. Holly had seemed interested in dragging Levi around with her, and since Yaya wasn't going on this trip and the boil wanted to be in a group with at least one other student he considered a friend, he was going to have to put up with the tatzel as well. He was confident he could do it without incident, at least for a little while, and if their other outings were any indication, he wouldn't have to deal with her for long. A boat would sink or a train would crash and he would be left to do whatever he pleased. He would just have to make sure that whatever didn't involve Levi.

West made it through the gnome search quickly, since he was only carrying clothing, toiletries, water, and an assortment of dried meats, and soon he was emerging out of the other side of the portal and into the human world. Hey, human world. You're still kinda gross.

He only vaguely gave Red his attention as he strolled across the clearing, having spotted Holly and pasty, pasty Levi relatively easily in the fading light. "What'cha got there?" he asked, making a grab for the pumpkin pills.

What? Too much? Crash and burn? Settle down? They were all crazy! "What? No, I'm fine. I'm totally fine. I feel incredibly normal. Really I'll be okay. I've had lots of coffee before, more than this before, this is nothing." Mot rambled, shaking his hand around.

Oh, his pill? Oh okay! Mot took the little pill, stashing quickly in one of the pockets of his duffle bag. Safe and sound was the magic pill of ultimate healing!

"So, about this house. What a house! Kind of a dump though. Will it fall on us? What rooms? Tests? Weaknesses? Boy, I did a lot of training so I think i will be just fine, but let me tell you I was really nervous. I certainly was. But that's okay! We trained a lot, didn't we Hel? I am ready! So ready!"

Aurian smiled reassuringly at Vaith as he commented on the number of pills. Rather, she tried to. It was a strain to meet all these new people, not to mention she was also worried about the fact that not all of them would be healed, so one corner of her mouth twitched as she tried to hold the smile firmly in place.

"We'll just have to make do," she nodded. It wasn't as though they were a bad group. Mai had approached Aurian with the offer, and the ghostly girl had brought together two second year students, Aurian with her Reaper weapon, and Mai's own abilities. Aurian wasn't familiar with Vaith, but she trusted Mai's judgement.

Her eyes lit up when she spotted the creature on Vaith's shoulder. "Oh!" she gushed, moving closer. "He's lovely! Your... familiar? That means you're a Reaper, too, right?"

This time, her cheer wasn't forced. She hadn't met many other Reapers (or many other students at all, really), so it was wonderful to have a common starting point with someone.

Ballsy? No. Nervous as hell? Ohyesohyesohyes. Having no blood, Mortimer couldn't flush with pride, but the smile suggested it at Natalia's compliment. If his mother could see him now, oh, she'd be so proud; Mort could hear her already:

"Oh look at you, Momo, you look so presh in this handsome outfit~! Tell the ghouls I'll be sending spookies as thanks for taking on my boil, soon as I can find that blasted recipe your grandgrand sent me. Your brother ate it again I think."

That would be like Gregory. Even if they weren't blood-related, Mort could easily imagine the oafish gluttony demon devouring the paper in hopes of getting to taste the sweet treats it had a recipe for.

The only reason he had approached these unknown ghouls was because he had thought the trip was mandatory, and thus he had scrambled onto the first opportunity he had: let's hope no-one tells him otherwise.

To their question and comments, he nodded vigorously; the more the merrier! "Pills?" Mortimer then inquired, pointing surreptitiously towards Red as if doing so out in the open would have him targeted. There were only three . . . how would they divide them amongst five? He would be happy to carry them, of course, but considering most of the group were his seniors, he didn't want to presume anything. They probably had more experience anyway about these sorts of things.
