Mei wouldn't receive an immediate answer, instead her words would be met by the clattering of more furniture as Rook fell over backwards in his chair, the wheels now spinning just above the desk "Assistant?" He muttered in perhaps the most piteous voice imaginable.
[1-HIT K.O!]
This time the Professor would be down for several minutes, until a Bisharp entered the room and began fanning the man with a black, scented towel. Mei wouldn't be able to pinpoint the natural source of the scent, but whatever it was, it caused Rook to rise almost immediately.
The man would cough into his fist a moment, then after fixing the position of his chair, sit back down. "During your stay at the Academy, you'll be sent out on a number of low-level missions for the Organization. Things we can trust a child or Grunt to accomplish without assistance" He explained calmly, clearly trying to look more official "...all in preparation for your eventual entry into the Organization. That is the sole purpose of this Academy, training the future Elite of Team Rocket."
He opened a drawer on his left, pulling free a number of items and placing them upon the desk "First however, we shall prepare you for the real mission. You are to go to Beginners Island. Once there your missions will be two folds" Reaching into another drawer, Rook would pull out a picture of an odd, glowing teal stone "First and foremost you must obtain a Chrono Stone. Secondly, you must capture at least one more Pokemon for your team."
The Professor gestured to the items he'd placed on the desk "These items will be provided for you on this mission. Three Pokeballs, and a Single Potion."
"To reach the island go to the Pokemon Center. Travel around the building to the back, and down the stairs. If you value your life, don't proceed all the way to the bottom" Rook spoke clearly "About halfway down you'll find a dock, there will be a row boat strapped to a number of water-types. They shall take you to the island."
"Any questions?"

Her Professor was really sensitive to words, huh? She nodded her head. "I need to obtain a Chrono stone and capture at least one pokemon that is to be added to my team." She repeated. "I understand. I shall try my hardest then!" Mei politely grabbed the three pokeballs and the potion. "Thank you for these items. And I have no questions." She carefully put the items away in a small side bag.
"If that is all... I will be heading towards the Pokemon Center now." Mei took a quick bow and walked to the door.
"It was nice meeting you Professor Rook." And with that being said, she closed the door with a soft click of the door. -Exits to Pokemon Center-

Ms. Blackwood walked up to the classroom door and gave it a soft knock. Waiting patiently, the white haired girl took off her hat, out of habit, when entering a room. "Sni?" a pokemon whispered to his trainer, looking as if to say 'Ready?'. Molly looked down to the Snivy at her side, smilied, and nodded her head. The trainer was nervous about attending her first class, no matter how hard she tried to show it.

As if of it's own accord the door to the classroom would swing open...ans the child would find it entirely empty save for the furniture. The desks, the chairs, shelves, and a rather strange looking box sitting right in the middle of the floor. Wrapped in black paper and tied with a bow, a tag upon the box's side simply read: Open Me.

Molly flinched, when the door swung open. "Things just get stranger, and stranger here...." she thought, as she calmed down and walked cautiously through the door. “However, whom am I am to judge." Replacing the hat on her head, seeing no one was in the room, Ms. Blackwood noticed the black wrapped box on the floor. "Odd." she said to herself, kneeling down, and read the tag attached. Her Snivy looked around nervously. "Sni, Sni." he said, tugging on his trainer's skirt, trying to pull her towards the door. The girl nudged the pokemon away a little, while she picked up the box. "We are already in to deep, to back out, Kage." Molly told her pokemon, sitting on her knees, and still examining the box. Curiosity was getting the best of her, as the girl carefully undid the wrapping and bow. "It did say 'Open me.'" she thought, opening the box...

((Slight miscommunication on my part. The box is about 5 x 5 feet in perimeter. She'd have an awfully hard time picking it up....oh well, I can work with this.))Ribbon and wrapping remove, the lid would practically fall off. The inside of the box was dark, seemingly containing nothing...but a second glance would provide the child with an odd find. A piece of paper on the bottom which contained only a single word...
BANG!
A loud sound would come from behind her, confetti spraying all over the place as a set of flares went off. Popping out of a cupboard which should have been far too small, a man dressed entirely in black would appear! Hands on his waist in a slightly heroic pose, the man was grinning from ear to ear as he called out "WELCOME TO THE GUARD CLASS!"

{{Oops, sorry. I assumed it was smaller. sweatdrop }}
Molly and her pokemon stared at the man in disbelief, and shock. "Is this the professor?!' She found it strange to believe , as confetti fell all over the room and in her hair. Slowly getting over the shock, she stood up, and curtsied, remebering that her shouldn't be one to judge. "...Thank you, sir." the girl said, her eyes still showing disbelief at what was going on. At her side, Kage sneezed, as some confetti landed on his snout, and backed away from the flares. Ms. Blackwood stood straight, again, and said "It's a pleasure to be here."

For a moment the man would simply stand there, then give a firm not of approval. That was more like it! Shock & Awe at his entrance! Not like that last girl! This one could actually tell who was in charge! "As you may have already guessed, I shall be your Professor during the duration of your time in this class" He stated, giving a somewhat firm nod.
Dusting the confetti off his coat, the man would proceed behind the Professor's desk and sit down "I am Professor Rook" He introduced then opened a drawer behind the desk "Time is of the essence, so I'll skip the rest of the introduction and give you your first mission."
Reaching into the drawer, the Professor would pull free three Pokeballs, placing them beside a Potion atop the front of his desk "Your first mission is to catch at least one additional Pokemon" He stated, his voice calm but firm "Secondly, you must retrieve an item known as a Chrono Stone...trust me when I say you'll know it when you see it."
"You'll be doing your hunting on Beginners Island. To get their go around back of the Pokemon Center, down the stairs, and onto the docks. There should be a boat pulled by Pokemon waiting for you" He stopped for a moment, then his tone switch to one of warning "Whatever you do, don't go all the way down the stairs."

Molly nodded, "Yes, Professor. I shall heed your warning." The girl took the potion, and pokeballs, and attached them to a slim belt, that appeared to be designed for trainers to have easy access to such items. Ms. Blackwood curtsied again, and excused herself. Her Snivy seemed to bow its head a little to the Professor, before following at his trainer's heels.

It wouldn't take her long as Nakano would arrival at the class. Observational skills more than enough to keep her from going to the wrong class as the smell of paint and a something that reminded her of poison made her keep away from the Tactics class, and beer made her quickly retrace her steps from the Strike class, but, the having neither of those smells made her choose the Shielding class.
Steel was a clean thing, ground smelt of earth, and those two things together were more than enough to keep her from picking the wrong choice. Then there was the scent of flowers, and she knew she had picked the right class as she knocks on the door quite cautiously.

The door would swing open as the child knocked upon it, and as it did, it would become abundantly clearly that she was smelling things that did not exist. Perhaps she had simply tricked senses based on her own miss-conceptions.
Just because a class was supposed to be home to Grass, Rock, and Steel-Type Pokemon didn't mean it would smell like any of them. Indeed, the room didn't house a single piece of stone, nor any plants. The only metal immediately apparent would be the legs of the desks and chairs. Though there was no doubt a ventilation shaft and grate around there somewhere.
There was one noticeable thing about the room however. Several of the desks were overturned or upon their sides, confetti littered the floor, and one of the windows had recently been broken. Bits of ash also seemed to be littered across the floor. The Professor evidently hadn't bothered to clean up during his various theatrical entrances. Not that this particular student would be privy to that information...yet.
Rather abruptly, a creeping mist would begin to make it's way across the floor from places unknown; and from the ceiling a coffin black as pitch would descend. As the casket struck the floor it would begin to open, the light glinting off it's polished surface just enough to reveal it was made entirely of metal.
As the door swung open, a swarm of Zubat would fly free, pushing forward and passed the girl in one immense cloud. When they had cleared, she would find she stood before a man dressed all in black, his face hidden behind a mask. With a devilish smirk, he would give the faintest bow "Welcome to the Dark-Side...Cookie?" He asked, producing a platter "...you can't have any" Declaring this rather abruptly, he'd walk away from the coffin, behind the teacher's desk, and flop into a black leather chair "Welcome to the Guard Team."

Nakano's senses hadn't picked up any of those things from the classroom itself, but the pokemon that frequent it. Or at least, she hope so otherwise, she had to be going quite crazy. Her eyes seeing confetti, broken window, and upturn desk and she slipped a kunai from her sleeve cover to slide effortlessly into her hand. Her eyes narrowed, she was actually expecting an attack as the coffin was lowered and she stood ready to go against whatever enemy popped out of there.
The swarm of Zubat wasn't expected ....as she felt herself pushed backwards by the bodies as she simply put the blade held sidewards in front of her head. She was trying her best to divert them enough from that spot to give her an opening ...even as she saw her moment and would hurl it at the teacher.
It would miss his head by a matter of inches as it sticks into the wood of the coffin, and with a familiar popping sound ....the kunai would seem to explode in smoke as her skarmory would behind the teacher.
Pose for battle, but she was looking for a pokemon even as the man seemed to miss her entrance as he offer her a cookie. Nakano was completely stun as her hand instinctively went for one only to have him declare she couldn't have any and walk away.
Suzaku just stood there frozen .........as her trainer slowly grew more conscious of her actions.
"I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU!"
She yells loudly at her professor. It wasn't a lady like thing to do, and ninja weren't suppose to show emotion. But right then, the shock was too great.

If the child hadn't expected Rook's entrance, then she was even less likely to expect his response. Shaking slightly, the man would slap both hands against his mouth tightly, producing an odd whistling hiss in the process "Pffft....HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!" Nope, it couldn't be done. He could by no means hold in the laugh. Tilting his head back, the Professor would let out a hysterical laugh. Soon he was grasping his sides, kicking his legs until both he and his chair managed to crash hard against the floor.
"HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAA...HA....haha....haaaaaa...." Finally, after a full fifteen minutes of such laughter, the mirthful sounds would at least cease. Breathing ragged, the Professor would push himself off the ground and fix his chair. "Thanks. I needed that. Haven't laughed so hard since I was a little boy" He remarked, whipping a finger beneath his left eye as if removing a tear.
Sucking a deep breath through his nose, the black clad man would exhale and sit. Leaning forward, he would fold his hands together and rest upon his elbows "I assure you child, I am much harder then that to kill" He stated, his mouth held in a joy-filled grin despite the somewhat serious tone he was using "This is the Guard Team, the Adamantine Wall of Akumu, and the Organization. No one whom would die from..." The Professor uttered a chuckle "....that....belongs in this Classroom."
He shook his head briefly "Not that I expect a Strike member would die so easily either. Least not without taking you with them..." Then the man waved a hand dismissively "Maybe one of those brainiacs in tactics."
The Professor continued to smile "Now if you're done with your little comedy routine. I believe introductions are in order..." Pushing his chair back, the black clad Professor once more stood, delivering the faintest bow "I am the Guardian of the Night, the Protector Clad in Shadow, Champion of the Abyss, the Trap-Door Hidden upon the highest Turret, the Castle Wall, the Moonless Knight....I, am Rook Parnasus VonTrune, Professor of this Class."

The girl shook her head. She didn't care what he said, blood was red no matter whom it came from. And if a shield has one problem ...it's the fact that if you can crack it ...there was nothing else to stop the bleeding afterwards. She had to wonder once more why she was even in this class as the man's laughter subsided. The girl's face had gone ...a sort of purplish color as the blood rush into her face, and she seemed to be trying to smother her rage at his amusement. She was quite serious ......as she glare daggers at him.
But, she knew there was nothing she could do about her bruised pride as she swallows it as he makes his introduction. She would smirk lightly .....at this at least she could find some sort of release for the tension.
"So, I take it I call you Professor VonTrune then? Sounds like you have many a good lineage. Good, I guess you are worthy of your place as my Professor then."
The girl had completely missed the stupidity of everything that was being said. As she would retort back, it would seem that titles was a game she played very well herself.
"I am from the house of the Fushia Clan, the clan known as Steelwind. I am the 24th heiress of that line ....the seeker of shadows is my call, the illusionist is my trademark, and am I also known as the defender of a thousand nights. For the last time I stood beside my father and mother to keep those creatures of shadows away from our walls."
"My name is that of greatness, I am Nakano Hinode."
She declares with a curtsy as she touches her skirt lightly. A smile was on her face even then .....as she felt a bit more relieved in being able to present herself properly.
The sound of metal claws hitting the ground would quickly remind her of her new partner.
"And, this silver bird is the creature that will one day be drench in blood, my shield, and my sword for this point on.
Her name is Suzaku."
Nakano would state even as the Skarmory came at her side. A rolling of eyes, because, even she found these entire speeches a bit annoying.

Stretching slightly, the Professor would give a rather resounding yawn as he plopped back down into the comfort of his chair "Yes yes, that's very nice; but as of five whole seconds ago, that all ceased to matter Miss Hinode. Your past no longer matters, your family no longer yours" He stated calmly, once more folding his hands "The Organization is your family now. The Academy is your body, the members your blood; and you must be prepared to defend your body at all times."
"Your life is no longer your own. You exist only to keep the other teams alive" The Professor dropped one hand, pointing at the child with the other "You do your job, so that they can do their's."
Once he felt he'd made this clear, the man then leaned back in his chair, propping his feet upon his desk "And call me Professor Rook. I detest using my Surname for anything unnecessary." He suppressed a shudder, trying to forget that the name forever connected him to her.
A harsh clang of steel would come from behind the girl at that moment. If she bothered to turn, it would be to witness a rather tall, incredibly intimidating Bisharp. Scarred heavily from head to toe, the Pokemon's blades were tinted red in a haphazard pattern that could be only one thing...blood stains.
The creature produced a constant aura of darkness...yet despite that, what he was actually doing was less then threatening. A broom in one hand, he seemed to be cleaning up the mess in the room.
"Now then, if you're ready, we shall prepare you for your first mission"
