Landry spat as Athena fled in fear of him. He was curious as to how much more he'd have to do to prove that he was a better man than Chrono ever was, and that he'd never lay a hand on her to harm her.
It didn't seem to matter, as Landry was suddenly lifted up with ease and smashed spine first on the unforgiving arpon from the olypmic slam. The pain was agonizing, and he rolled under the ropes and back into the ring, which was all he could do at that moment as electric shocks of pain surged up and down his body.
All the while, the ref was nearing ever closer to counting Chrono out...

Chrono managed to get up and the ref was now at seven by this time, he hopped up on one foot and got to the ring by eight. Chrono used the ropes as leverage as he hopped towards Landry and attempted to jump up and swing kick Landry out of the ring!

Landry was kicked hard in his back and he rolled out to the apron. He tried to use the ropes to stand, but he was in so much pain it was hard to move.

After the kick, Chrono got up and staggered back and fell in the middle of the ring. He held his knee in pain, clearly both combatants were at a war with each other, it was going to be damn hard for the rest of WWFG stars to compete against this match..

Landry forced himself back to a vertical base, forcing himself to continue. He saw Chrono's foot was killing him and he knew he could take advantage, and so he stalked Chrono on the apron, waiting for him to stand once again, and once he did, he'd sprindboard off and try for a Sunset Flip!

Chrono got up, and somehow got to a vertical base. He was visibly shaken and hurt but he was determined to stand up. Out of peripheral vision he saw Landry get up and fly through the air. Chrono attempted to catch him in mid air, fling him on to his shoulders for what would seem like a Samoa backdrop only for Chrono to attempt (if all was successful) a forward fireman's carry slam.
Which Chrono, provided everything above happened. Chrono would probably buckle under the weight of his knee and fall with Landry giving even more of an impact to Landry. Chrono would attempt to pin Landry if successful.

Landry was caught on the shoulders, and without given a single moment to counter, he was planted back first onto the canvas with all of Chrono's weight behind him. The referee slid down into Landry's vision, and it was only then that he realized he was being pinned.
"1....2....."NO! Landry shot a shoulder up at the very last second, saving himself from defeat.

The crowd roared their approval in this match, it was quite evident that Landry and Chrono were pulling out all the stops in this match, counter after counter after counter. When one man had an advantage, the other would quickly turn the tide in their favor.
Chrono pushed the hair out of his face, and slicked it back mouthing 'Come on!' in a pissed off fashion. What was it going to take to put Landry down? Freakshow beat him in this match at one point, and Chrono was certainly better in every caliber than Freakshow.
Chrono got to his knees in a sitting-esque position as he attempted to turn Landry to lay on his stomach, if successful go for a version of the crossface chicken wing.

FREAKSHOWWONBYTIMELIMITDRAW!... ... ...I mean Landry was rolled onto his stomach and slapped into the crossface chickenwing. Now with his left arm stuck in a hammerlock and right arm pinnned down by Chrono who has an arm across Landry's neck, the Innovator finds himself in a precarious predicament.

Chrono said no words when the crossface chicken wing was locked in. He seemed to have no emotions in his face at all. This might not be a good thing for Landry. None the less, The Undisputed Champion kept the hold locked in, and was attempting to arch back slightly to put on added pressure onto Landry.

With Chrono arching his back to add more leverage to the hold, the pain increased, but it also gave Landry an opening. His now freed arm was now available to shoot back for a few stiff elbows to the ribs to try and motivate Chrono to release his hold.

Chrono was smashed with a few elbows and a normal man would've broken the hold, unfortunately for Landry, Chrono wasn't one of them.. Chrono did however stand up with part of the hold intact, and attempt to lift Landry up and onto his knee for a backbreaker of sorts. If successful, Chrono's other knee would give out on him and he'd slump to the mat.

Landry is brought up and smashed across the knee of the larger man with the spine-tingling maneuver. He arched his back and rolled away from his opponent, trying to move his feet and fingers to make sure no nerve damage was done.

Chrono shot up and looked at Landry before using the ropes to get to a vertical base. He stamped his injured knee to the ground to get some feeling into it and at last he couldn't feel the pain (for now) he took off the straps of his outfit and let out a battle cry of sorts. Chrono was going to bring back a move in his arsenal which is ironic because it is listed as one of his finishers.. Regardless, a finisher that he saved for special opponents, the last time he used this move was against Kelly King 2.0 roughly six years ago. How fitting would it be for Chrono to bring it back and use it against Landry considering his past with King.. Chrono walked over to Landry and attempted to lift him to his feet, if successful he'd go for the motions of an inverted double underhook falcon wing facebuster (impaler/unprettier/killswitch) only to rotate it so it was a spinning impaler.

Landry was unable to resist Chrono's newfound aggressiveness and he was hooked in tight, spun around and planted for the Spinning Impaler.
