Mitsu's tail continued to wag happily, enjoying the encouragement. She was soaking it up like a sponge. When it seemed Shun wanted to say something though she turned up toward his face her nose inches from him. The werewolf really couldn't have anticipated the word he would settle on using. Beautiful. She had definitely never heard that word used in regard to her before. Cute maybe and she had heard pretty but beautiful was on a different level.

If she could have blushed in this form she would have though it was obvious when her bashful nature took over and her head dipped shyly. Her tail was still wagging though despite her embarrassment and as she stepped closer she lifted up her head to nuzzle against the side of Shun's neck. For a moment Shun would feel the softer fur around her neck and head as she rested a bit of weight on his shoulder. Then he would feel that weight change as Mitsu shifted back to her other form and a pair of arms reached up to wrap around his neck in a hug. She was too caught up in the moment to think about the fact that Shun might not approve of the contact. Hugging him just seemed like a good idea. His words had been very touching and heart warming to hear. "You say the sweetest things to me."

Shun had not returned the hug but the fact that he did not flinch away was encouraging. In fact, he seemed relaxed for once which had Mitsu staying where she was, shyly smiling into his shoulder. His statement was so matter of fact, but because of that it held no sugar coated lies. It was more endearing than he probably realized.

"And it means a lot to me," Mitsu said softly before finally pulling back from the hug a bright smile on her face. A smile that Shun could easily see....because she had forgotten her mask on the ground.

Mitsu smile broadened a bit more as she averted her gaze slightly. It wasn't until she looked away though that she noticed something was missing. A hand coming up to touch her face she suddenly realized why Shun had mentioned her smile. He could quite clearly see her face.

Surprisingly not as panicked as she normally would have been, Mitsu huddled closer to Shun for a moment looking around trying to spot her missing mask. When she finally spotted it not far off the lycan bent to retrieve it placing it on her head but had yet to pull it down over her face. It was strange how all of a sudden it didn't seem nearly as important to hide.

Turning back to the reaper, Mitsu offered him one last smile before pulling the mask back down into its proper place. "I didn't have much to smile about until I came here." Mitsu admitted once everything was settled back into place. "It's the first time I've really felt like I belonged."

That warm feeling returned and Mitsu could feel her heart beating a little faster. Shun really did say the nicest of things.

"Are you ready to head back for today?" She would continue practicing on her own tomorrow and perhaps they could set up a schedule to do this regularly. They wouldn't be able to get much practice in before the field trip but perhaps it would be enough.

"Alright, I will." Mitsu nodded. With a trip coming up she didn't want to hurt herself.

Waving to the reaper, Mitsu picked up her backpack and threw it over her shoulder. For now she would head back to her dorm and think over what she had learned today. It was going to take a bit of practice to get it all down.
